Mechanic shop is rock solid. We get reliable great service here. I almost don t want to tell you how great they are because I like getting into see them and if it gets out how awesome they are I might have to wait for servicing. Seriously, they re honest and great. Our family respects this business and we are happy to recommend them to our family and friends.

This place is solid, took my Tacoma for a new drive shaft. They finished it so fast, but also done well. It was an added touch they let my dog come in when I pay. It s the little things that that shows they are customer friendly and generally cool. This will be my go to shop.

These guys are the best. Had an emergency repair to my radiator hoses on my truck and they were able to accommodate me quickly at a fair price. Followed up with me to make sure it was still in working condition. Rare to find great honest mechanics.I m only going here from now on

We called Solano Way Auto Repair at 4:00 and he was able to fit us in the next morning. They replaced the battery, did an oil change, rotated the tires and topped off the fluids. We are so pleased the service and price we will definitely be back and recommending them to all of our friends and family! My experience getting my car fixed here was fantastic. Ken Jr. helped me from beginning to end and was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout. He explained what was going on, what needed to happen, and communicated well through the whole process.They're priced competitively, and the service is warrantied for two years, which is great peace of mind.The work was done as expected and promptly completed. There was a small delay over the original quoted time but Ken Jr. communicated it to me clearly.I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone in the area and though I hope I never need to, I'll be glad to take my car back here for future service!

Excellent small town style shop where they go out of their way to say hello as you walk up. Last time I was there I had forgotten to make the right appointment and Ken was still able to make it work for me. Always able to accommodate my night before drop offs. They use the shop software that sends you text updates so you know when your car is actually ready for pick up and give a courtesy call.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Solano Auto is lead by an honest, friendly and knowledgeable man by the name of Ken Jr. I needed help with my car to pass smog. My cars sunroof leaks so with the current severe weather in mind, Ken Jr. was careful to keep my car under cover. Ken was able to diagnose and repair my car in one day! I passed smog and am awaiting my tags now. I will definitely continue to be a Solano Auto customer. My sincere thanks to Ken Jr. and his crew for the awesome service!

Solano Auto Repair is very professional, friendly, and dependable. I dropped off my vehicle on the way to work and it was completed by the time I got off on the same day. Ken Jr. is always friendly, makes sure that I am able to get to my next destination and even remembers to ask about my kids after not seeing me in a couple of years. This is a comfortable 'down home' feeling kind of shop. Thank you Solano Auto Repair!

Solano Way Auto is the only place I will ever take my vehicle. They are professional and way better priced than othe mechanics in the area. Solano Way Auto Repair was recommended to me by a neighbor. I have an old 13 years old Toyota Camry and it constantly needs attention. The shops I have tried before were OK but none of them can even remotely compare to Solano Way Auto Repair. I have been explained in great details about the status of my car and what needed to be done and when. I am amazed; have never seen more hones, patient, and friendly auto professional than Ken. I think I have finally found my repair shop for life. Thank you, Solano Auto Repair Team. Keep up the good work because shops like yours are in extinction.

Dec. 2021 Brought in our older automobile for service. Found out the part was under warranty. Wonderful news. Solano Auto Repair fixed it with a smile of satisfaction. No paper work. These guys are great! Thank you so much and see you next time!I had put off some major repairs and I found this service to be exactly as advertised. I was glad I tried them. How rare is that? If Ken says he can do it, he can. 34 years in business. Excellent! (5/2019)We brought in our second automobile, a truck. Same great service. Better than Factory! This time I noticed all the continued education placards. These guys are serious about the health of your car. Excellent again! (9/2019)

Purchased parts directly from the dealership to change my spark plugs and wires. Spent over $200. Hurt my back so called to see if they could do the job for me. Was told they dont use customer supplied parts. This tells me they make their money of parts mark ups of probably 100%. If the dealer supplied parts are not good enough to put in your vehicle then what is? I understand there are some people that would bring used parts to be installed, however this is a terrible policy and due to it you will never have my business.

I always have a great experience at Solano auto repair. Ken Sr Ken Jr and their staff are awesome. They always inspect your vehicle thoroughly and recommend what is always best for you and what your car needs. I moved to Vallejo almost four years ago and would rather drive or tow my car to them. I would recommend them to anyone.

My experience yesterday was so profoundly positive. It is so reassuring that customer service still exists. Ken Jr actually shook my hand when came in. I almost fainted. They did everything they said they would do in a timely matter. Even took me to BART. The price quoted was what I paid. There were no surprise extra costs. Truly this is only place to go for repairs. Don't waste your time researching where to go.

Been bringing my car(s) here for years and it is always a delight! They are the best - super realistic about what is most vital to fix immediately, or next month, or next year. They offer really competitive pricing. Amazing customer service, I really dig the new(ish) text and email automated updates which help give me an idea of how long something will take. I love that I can call at 5pm when something breaks or makes a weird noise and usually take it over that night for a drop off with key in the lockbox or the next morning when they open. Would definitely recommend to everyone in the East Bay area of Martinez, Concord, Clayton, Pacheco, Bay Point, Pleasant Hill, etc! You won't be disappointed.

These guys are super honest and super friendly. I have taken in my car to get my oil changed twice. The most recent time, they noted that the front strut was leaking and then went out of their way to contact the Toyota dealership to check if my car was under warranty. It was... so they gave the closest dealership my information.They're a pleasure to deal with and very upbeat. Also they cleaned the exterior of my car for free after doing the oil change.

I try to be as savvy as possible when getting my 06 Rav 4 serviced, and go to three places to get quotes on service and advice on repair/ Maintenance. Ken was able to beat out much larger Dealerships in the area by offering very reasonable prices, smooth/tech savvy customer service, timley repair, and consistent communication. I really liked recieving my diagnostic report by email as this will make saving service records many times easier. My 20 year old Rav was feeling nice and snappy after Solano Way was done with it. Ken Jr. and his wonderful team helped get our RV up and running in just a few hours. Even though our motorhome is a 27 foot Class C and isn't huge, most auto shops refuse to even work on RVs because of the size (dont fit in the bays/parking lot). But Solano Way let us know that it wouldn't be a problem. They quickly identified that our issue was the alternator, ordered the part, had it delivered within two hours and installed it soon after. They also let us know that the oil was low and topped it off for us, and replaced all our belts as a safety measure since they looked worn. Our RV is now running SO much quieter and better, and we're so happy that we went to Solano Way instead of a different auto shop. Thank you!!!!!
