Always a great experience, excellent customer service in a clean and safe environment. I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else! These guys are not just mechanics, they are professional technicians who understand the customer's love for their cars and how important it is for every aspect of the car to function at levels that meet or surpass customer's expectations. Brought my car in for repairs. Service is always 10/10 and communication was great as well. I appreciate the calls I received for updates and how they were able to identify the issue of my car right away. Would recommend to anyone in need of assistance with repairs or installing parts on their car. They will 100% get you taken care of and treat you with amazing customer service as well.

Really appreciate his expertise and his kindness. He steered me away from the type of used vehicle I was considering based on transmission problems he has seen them develop at a certain mileage. He took the time to make recommendations of vehicles that would be reliable and meet my needs. This kind of service seems rare these days.

The oil change was good but I take my car there because that s what s recommended for warrant but if something isn t working they are going to charge almost $200 to trouble shoot. Well that s wrong so I have to go back to the dealer to find out why my backup camera is not working on the screen. What s the use of getting an extended warranty and contra costa services is not going to honor it.Service: Oil change

I'm very happy with Contra Costa Auto Service. I've had my truck serviced here twice, after being referred here by a friend. Both times, they were able to get me scheduled in quickly, and turned the work around rapidly. The work was performed well, the staff is professional, and I trust them with my car.

Good service, appt required about a week wait to schedule. Advisor communicated well about brake inspection, photos provided, services recommended are straight forward and prices reasonable compared to dealerships.

Contra Costa Auto Service, best in the business! .. Above and beyond to assist in troubleshooting even the most difficult "ghost in the machine" issues to my 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible R52 !Justin, service manager and Brandon co-service manager kicks butt on solving and assisting in getting any vehicle back on the road and in a timely fashion. Engine went out in my 1992 Toyota 4Runner. We agreed to order a new replacement engine from Jaspers that came with a solid warranty. They did a great job installing the new engine, getting everything hooked correctly and functioning properly. Drove out of there like I had a new vehicle. The front desk staff were nice and friendly, and they were able to make an appointment for the repair only two days after I called. Their quoted price on the work was already 10% lower than I was quoted by the dealership, and they offered a 10% new customer discount on top of that, so they saved me a lot of money, too. I like their service center app they use that made reviewing additional quoted work and their inspection results easy to review, even though I declined additional work at the time. They weren't pushy about my declining either, which is always appreciated.

Alex & Dan have always done a great job for us. We took in our Fiat 500 & BMW 335d for many services. I appreciate the feedback we get when the engine is apart. We have choices on which electives to consider so we don't have to pay to tear it back down. Dan performed a walnut blast of our cylinder head. Car runs fantastic!

Called shop before having my auto towed by AAA (which could not have been easier. Ty AAA). Shop said they could handle it. They text me an estimate for inspection and diagnosed the problem immediately. What we thought would be $1000's ended up $150. Obviously, couldn't have been happier! My future repairs will be done at CC Auto Service. Thank you!Service: Transmission

I had an unexpected car problem and Justin and Brandon got me an appointment right away. They did amazing work and got me back driving in no time. Some shops see a young female and over charge- but Justin reassured me that everything would be ok. Brandon the counter agent was very kind an both him an Justin was ver informative about the work being done. I will definitely be going back to them and refer them to all my family and friends. Thanks again guys!!

So far so good! I had an oil change and they coordinated an alignment for me. Very responsive and easy to make an appointment. The interior did have a little more dirt/grease grime than usual but I was able to wipe it off the door, steering wheel and ignition switch.

Repaired my AC valves and recharged my refrigerant. I love their texts and pictures that keep you updated on any work they are doing and their approve/decline services system. Their work quotes are clear and easy to read. Very helpful staff as well! I definitely recommend them!

I had an issue where my key would not insert into the ignition. I was towed (from a parking lot) by Triple AAA to Contra Costa Auto Service. We arrived at CCAS shortly before closing and I was assured they would inspect and contact me next day. The ignition was repaired and ready for pick up before 1 pm. Hooray!Very efficient and courteous. Thank you,

Had a coolant leak which was the expansion tank that had a crack in it.Came here for the good reviews. Jason and other front desk guy were great.Very detailed on the recommended services which I declined as I can do myself except for a couple jobs.Diagnostic charge which was quoted $178 came out to $250. Plus the repair on expansion tank replaced was another $377. Was not too difficult of a job to do. Other service to replace an air filter was pricey. I feel the prices are comparable to that of a dealership.All in all. Good service but at a priceService: Auto water leak repair

I have had two repairs with Contra Costa Auto Service on my CLA 45 AMG so far and I am glad I found them. They are transparent and provide the best customer service when it comes to your vehicle needs. No one likes having car issues or problems as it is but they are definitely reasonable when it comes to pricing for any type of work on your car comparison to the MB dealership. Shoutout to Justin for the quick quotes and updates provided on my vehicle. Keep up the good work guys!

Been having idle and ticking sound on my Infiniti M45 Tech recommended using a well known brand of additive to lubricate internal parts in engine for 500 miles or so to see if it would eliminate ticking I ll have to wait and see. staff very accommodating very professional, Nice professional automotive shop clean first time using contra costa auto very Impressed. I took my Mercedes to Contra Costa Auto Service yesterday. I would not take it any place else. The service is excellent, competent, and timely. The staff from Justino in the office to Dan in the shop are top notch.My C300 is always well taken care of. There has been zero issues in the many times I have taken a car there. I have recommended several of my friends to Contra Costa and they are of the same mind as me. CCAS is the place to go for car servicing.Services: Transmission, Auto maintenance

Outstanding service! Fast diagnosis and repairs after another shop was unable to diagnose or repair an issue with leaking suspension bags on my BMW. Excellent online inspection report as well as the ability to review and authorize suggested repairs.
