I had my vehicle smogged and requested an oil change. Everything went well however they didn t provide an oil maintenance sticker to remind when the oil change is next due. Small detail yet important.

I was driving my 1965 Shelby Cobra replica from So Ca to Concord for my grandson's Middle School Graduation on June 8th. 230 miles into the trip, the new fuel pump I had installed, failed. Thank goodness for Premier AAA Towing so I had it towed to my son's home, 146 miles, as I could not find a mechanic to help me. My car was sitting since Wednesday. On Friday I called and Clayton-Treat Automotive to the rescue!! I explained my situation and they said no problem. They could take it Saturday morning when they opened. Towed it to them and by 4:30 that afternoon, I was back on the road!! I cannot express how much I appreciate them. They helped me when 4 other shops would not. Highly recommend them for fast service and honest work.Service: Engine repair

Call in and stated I need a smog certification done (on here it states that they are a "smog inspection station") and asked if I can come in anytime or do I need to make an appt. THe guy that answerd the phone just hang up and I never recieved a call back.

Quick in for smog check. The proprietor was cheerful and helpful as usual. Prices up a bit, but that's not new. 5 out of 5 for this gent's shop.

They have a large parking area, which is a massive plus side, but that Carrie s with it the downside is how fast everyone flys into the parking space - it makes it very difficult to want to do business here. The shop is great but the clientele is what makes it lose a star.

Went in for a SMOG test. Tech was lovely. Price was high. 79.75$ with a 8.25$ cert for my 2014 sedan. Coupon on site/mailer is a must. Was quick and efficient on a Saturday Morning. Be there at opening for quick service.

I have had my 2001 Chevy Silverado repaired by Shaun a number of times. Shaun has replaced my ignition switch after the truck had been stolen and had it detailed for me, almost 2 years ago. I have NEVER had any problems. I recently brought it to him for a brake job and an abs problem. Shaun is very meticulous in his work and did everything I asked him too. He diagnosed the abs as a bad module and recommended taking it to the dealership due to programing. I think that Shaun is an excellent mechanic, honest and his pricing is fair. I have several family members that also bring their vehicles to Shaun and have glowing reviews. Fun fact...Even the AAA tow truck driver who towed my truck to the dealership uses Shaun as his mechanic.Service: Auto brake repair

Just tried to get a smog here, upon arriving I talked to a technician and told them I wanted a smog. The technician started to say and I quote my smog machine is uh we re closing soon. Now they were still going to be open for an hour and five minutes but I m very aware that with only an hour left to be open they have cars that they re already working on or smogs and that s gonna take up that time, my problem is that the technicians first thought was to lie and that doesn t strike me as a trustworthy repair or smog shop. I m sure others had better experiences but use this place with caution

So expensiveI try to do a smog check and they try to charge me $86 !!!!!!! With a 2 hours waiting timeI made the smog check in Pittsburg for only $45 and 10 minutes

First time we visited this smog shop. Brought in a coupon from a mailer. Got there right at opening, smog check quick and easy. They'd get 5 stars if they ran a broom and rag through the waiting room. As far as the job done, 5 stars and at a competitive price BEFORE the $20 coupon.

Brought my old car in with a broken alternator belt early one morning without an appointment. They were able to take my car no problem. Asked me a few questions and gave me an estimate. Fixed it by the end of the day, and I also had them do an oil change while it was there. Staff was friendly and didn't try to sell me extra services I didn't need. The final bill was reasonable. All in all pleased with the service given and would come back again in the future.

Extraordinarily good service."Service Engine Soon" light on my dash, traveling away from home.He was able to clear the engine codes and test-drive to see the issue wasn't immediately recurring, and could clear me to drive home.He could have just launched into an (expensive) repair, but gave me good honest service instead.

took my car that has never failed here, it failed, the recommended a catalytic converter. had one installed and retested for free, it failed worse. back to muffler shop that did cat, to get everything checked took it to another station it passed no problem and was about $50 cheaper. Never going here again.

Fast service! Especially those da#n SMOG checks. I broused at STAPLES next door and then treated myself to a Togo's sandwich to take for lunch. The work was done long before I returned! Thanks guys!

Attentive, knowledgeable, and attentive after sales service. Shaun and TJ quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired the work order same day. Reasonably priced! Next time I'll remember to use their online coupons. Highly recommended.

Poorly run shop. Called earlier today to try and get an appointment for smog guy says don t need one just show up. Ok... I get there and he proceeds to tell me it s gonna be an hour wait lol. Will not be going back to this place waste of time.

If you need a friendly flexible smog this place will treat you right. The price isn't the lowest around but when you come back in a bind for the free retest and they squeeze you end by the end of a day the extra money is worth it.

Took my car in for a smog check. I left the car as I was not in a hurry. Within an hour I received a call that my car was ready. Very nice and professional service.
