Not very helpful on the phone. Must be someone new they used to be more helpful. I just dont want to wast time driving there to be sent away for not having the corect filter for my truck. It has happened too many times.

Great, timely service. Professional, friendly people. Extremely reasonable prices.I took my Honda Accord 2008 in for an oil change; they did it so fast I could not believe it.Been there three times; was satisfied every time.

I brought my car in for an oil and transmission fluid change. I waited 1 1/2 h and it s still not done, writing this while waiting.I was watching my car and for long periods no one was working on it. Meanwhile 4 or 5 other cars came in and left serviced wthThis was the last time i come here.Do not come if you don t have 2h time to wait.Prices are good tho, that s why i give 2 stars.

Great place! The team is always polite, friendly, and helpful. They have done everything from rebuild my engine to change my oil and headlights. I have found them to be trustworthy and fair. They also do a great job at checking a car before you buy it and giving great advice. Highly recommended.

I had some really bad experience and bad air shocks on my vehicle that was installed by another mechanic shop last year. "Sully" inspected it, gave me some professional advice, replaced it with a conversion strut kit, instead of air shocks. Because I had 20 inch rims and tires on my 2014 Chevrolet suburban rear 2wd. Everything came out excellent, he was honest and told me it's normal my suspension light will stay on, but not worry. It will at some point go off, or stay on and he told me that's a button I can push on my dash board it will turn it off everytime. It rides smoothly now I recommend everyone to this AWESOME SHOP, but be specific of what you are experiencing as much as you can.

Decided to give Clayton Quality Auto Service a try after reading all the positive reviews and so glad we did! Our 2007 Veracruz had a check engine light on and was misfiring. Called and talked to Nguyen who was very friendly on the phone and said we could have it towed there right away and they'd take a look at it. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Mike the owner who quickly diagnosed the problem and really took the time to educate me on what was going on with the car and was very upfront about the potential costs. The repairs were completed in a timely manner and the prices were reasonable.About a week later we brought our 2008 Honda Civic in for some repairs that the dealership had previously said we needed but seemed over-priced so we had put them off. After Mike checked out the car, the price he quoted us was WAY lower than the dealership's and some of the services weren't even necessary, apparently they were just trying to up-sell us. So glad to have a found a mechanic we can trust! Mike really cares about his customers and truly has their best interests in mind. We have been so well taken care of at Clayton Quality Auto, from now on we won't be taking our cars anywhere else!

This is my second time coming here for an oil change as I recently moved to Concord. The employees here are wonderful. They were all very polite and helpful. I ve now got my mother bringing her car in as well because of the great service I received. Thank you to the entire team. Your dedication to customer service is appreciated.

This is my favorite place to get my oil changed they have tons of other services and are exceedingly friendly and when I google the thing they are talking about they are asking for a very reasonable price every time. I would put my trust in their diagnosis and work with them if you have concerns about price. My father was a loyal customer and went to them for years. I promise this is the best place for auto questions and services.

I have been going there for years, take all my cars, kids cars, and recommending them for years, until now. Different people behind the counter, brought my car in for an inspection and was told I needed to replace all my brakes and rotors, took it somewhere else for second opinion and was told brakes were fine. I don't recommend them anymore. What a shame Clayton Quality Auto.

My husband and I traveled from Washington State to Concord to visit our families. Our brakes felt spongy and we were leaving town on Monday, so we check out this place on Sunday. These guys know their business and ordered a major part for us and after a delivery delay we were on the road home by Tuesday morning. We had no problems on the road and our brakes are perfect. You guys rock!!! Thank you so very much for making us feel like family and making us feel safe again.

I came in for a cylinder 5 misfire and told them that I already replaced spark plugs and ignition coil and they told me it would be an $80 diagnostic. I asked them to run compression test and check fuel injectors since that would be the next step after what I had already done.They call me back an hour later saying that I didn't change spark plugs because cylinder 5 still had oem plugs and not NGK. THEY HAD CHECKED THE WRONG CYLINDER. I explained the one they checked was not cylinder 5, it was 4 and they went back to check the correct one. almost 6 hours later they call back again saying that the spark plugs and ignition coils were fine so it was something else that they couldn't fix. I KNOW THE COILS AND PLUGS WERE FINE. I TOLD THEM I REPLACED THEM JUST HOURS BEFORE. They forced me to still pay the $80 "diagnostic" even though all they ended up doing was checking the work I had already performed. No compression test, no electric test, no sensor test, no fuel injector test. They only checked the things I had told them many times I had already replaced. They scammed me into getting their "diagnostic" knowing full well that if it wasn't spark plugs or ignition coils, they couldn't do anything else. (which obviously it wasn't because I told them over and over again that I already replaced those). That was the entire point of me bringing it to a mechanic.These people have very limited mechanical skill. Do not go to them for any kind of engine repair.They told me when I picked up the car that normally they don't charge for diagnostic without repair but they would charge me because of the amount of time they spent on my car. Really? It took them 7 hours to check the cylinder 5 spark plug and coil? Unbelievable. These are not mechanics, they are scammers.When I was in their waiting room, they were even arguing with another customer because they stripped his oil pan drain plug, and yet were making him pay for the replacement. That should have been a red flag for me, but lesson learned.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

These guys are great. Always able to resolve whatever issue that arises with your car. Pricing is reasonable. Syeed is very helpful. Very thankful they are in the neighborhood. Had a problem with the ac, they fixed it right away. They are awesome.

So I have read some of the negative reviews and that is just not reflective of this place. I'm not sure of the context of the incidents as well but I started servicing all my 5 vehicles as well as 5 RVs and they have been very honest with me and privided some of the best service I've ever experienced.Mike and Hasia who are the newer owners have been amazing. Ive seen them go out of their way for me and many other customers every time I'm there.I've also seen some of those customers who like to cause problems and even fabricate things still get treated professionally and with respect.I am sorry for the few that have had an issueBut I can tell you Mike and Hasia will truly treat you right.I have to travel over the bridge from Benicia each time to get all my vehicle service done and its worth it.They work extremely hard to complete the work timely and they do a great job and are honest.I even started to have them do my tires on some of my vehicles.I know sometimes we have rough days but knowing these people and watching how they have treated me and so many others now for 4 yrs and counting and they treat us like family which is hard to find.I recommend them to anyone looking for an honest straight forward mechanic.Thanks Mike and Hasia for being so wonderful!!

I've gone here many times. At first they seemed good, then I got a battery replaced and a couple months later they had to give me another one because the battery went out. I went back again to see why my car was over heating and they looked at the car for 5 mins and told me I had to get a new cooling fan and that it would cost $550. I left and did some research and found out they were overcharging for the parts and a job they claimed would take 3+ hours only took 40 mins. So I will definitely not be back, they seem nice but I'm sure they have ripped others off like this.

Mike and his team are definitely the most knowledgeable people when it comes to cars. I had a bad AC sensor on my ford fusion and they took care of it after thoroughly checking out other components that could be bad. If you happen to get your car fixed by Win, Amin or Imran, you should be very happy. They are definitely the best mechanics one could ask for.I suggest everyone to check this place out.

Thank you to Nguyen, I hope I spelled it correct. Was a little pricy for a tune up on my trail blazer, However, they were open on a Sunday and most places are not. This guy was up front polite, and honest. We had a good conversation while my vehicle was being worked on. The estimated time I would get my car back took longer than expected. Not surprised because it was Sunday so staff was short. Unlike most businesses, Nguyen apologized to me and made it right. Will not disclose what took place. My point is, there , people understand other people's situations and are caring people. I recommend Clayton auto service . 100 percent is to be determined since I just got my vehicle back and havnt drove it much. As far as honesty and good people, thumbs up. Update in 30 days or so.

There's a sign in the shop that says "quality ain't cheap and cheap ain't quality", well they certainly weren't cheap and this caliper bolt replacement certainly wasn't quality. This took them three days, I honestly wish they had just told me they did a bad rethread on the bolt so I knew it would be a problem before I went to change my brakes, but then I might have had an issue with the few hundred they charged. Thanks guys for turning a 20 minute pad replacement into a ruined weekend and a logistic hell on Monday.

These mechanics changed the O2 sensors on my Subaru. After picking it up, there was a tapping noise so took it back thinking something was loose. Well they spent time looking at it and diagnosed free of charge the transmission going out. So that was great service.

Mike and his guys are definitely the best car shop in Concord!They are a real professionals, honest and the main reason I will highly recommend to any one to use there services is that they are straight forward with everything.Thank you guys for been wonderful I definitely recommend this business for any car repair!

My husband and I are restoring our 2004 Chevrolet tahoe we went in initially for a diagnostic and got not only the diagnostic but great customer service the guts answered all of my questions and even gave me a breakdown of what the work was that we still have to do along with the breakdown of how much time and the cost that the next steps would cost.

As a man trying to save myself a dime here and there, I did my own brakes. With 3 wheels done I started the fourth and well the caliper was so rusted and the bolts to it we're completely stripped and seized. These professional people took great care of me by removing those bolts for just the price of an oil change. IF YOU WANT QUALITY and you NEED to save a penny, you would be making a mistake by not coming here. These guys are very friendly and the owner runs a damn fine shop. A gentleman by the name of Bobby really helped me out when I was in a jam. Thanks again guys !

DO NOT take ypu vehicle here. It took two and a half days to swap a starter, which they said was not the prpblem after they did a diagnostic. Then when I went to start my vehicle, it did not start. It needed a jump, which the mechanic seemed to regard as normal. Had work done anout a year ago and was pleased. This is the second time since and the quality, competence and management seems to be sliding fown hill fast.

I just had my car there for a oil change . I had my own oil and filter. They supposed to fill with 6 quarts , but they used only 5. It s clear , they didn t drain completely the old oil. Big time crooks...

MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this to EVERYbody!! I've been coming to this place for 3years now and they never fail to give me the best service anybody would ask for. There's a local shop walking distance from my house but I prefer going the distance to come here. Very honest. Very fast. Excellent customer service. Overall A+++++++
