If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Carlos is extremely knowledgeable, understanding, and good to work with. They do amazing work. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do electrical work on any of my vehicles. I'd recommend Auto Electric & Fuel to anyone who wants someone they can trust working on their vehicle.

I took my vehicle in to get some services done and was amazed by the experience. Carlos kept my car clean and neat even washed the windows for me. The shop was honest about prices and very efficient. I will be taking all my cars here.

Carlos is a skilled mechanic and is not afraid to dig into very complex issues. When it comes to electrical work, he is known by the local gear heads as the go to guy.He is honest, straight forward and stands by his work. In addition to working on my vehicle, he also helped me research potential fixes and maintenance to prevent future issues down the road.

We visited Pep Boys in Contra Costa a while back for a dead battery for our van. They replaced our battery with one that was too small for the vehicle which most likely caused a number of things to go wrong. Carlos was able to diagnose our issues, find a few other ones and handle them quickly.While the cost to diagnose the problems was a bit high, but I am super confident that he got us sorted out. I have never been to a mechanic that was so communicative and made things easy to understand and set the expectations so well. He was kind enough to help us out with a complete service of the vehicle, wash and vacuum. He even fixed a broken blinker for us.Overall, I felt really well taken care of coming here. That doesn't happen often leaving a mechanic. Thank you Carlos!

You will pay for highly trained technical diagnostics and expertise. You will get honest evaluations and complete work done. I have had at least 4 vehicles in the shop for various problems. Some were very technical and specific, and that is what Carlos is great at. All my experiences have been quite positive and will be taking in more projects for them to complete for me. I'm a shade tree mechanic and know my limits and when to get expert help.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, Auto water leak repair, Auto A/C recharge, A/C installation & repair

Concord Auto Electric and Fuel is a top tier company that provides thorough investigations into issues that many auto shops do not have the expertise for. In addition to top quality standard automotive repairs like brakes and belts, they also provide expert electrical issue diagnostics resolution and smog issue diagnostics and repairs.I had a major electrical issue that dealerships and other auto shops were not able to diagnose. My car was nearly not drivable. They were able to diagnose and trace down the electrical issue and repair it. The car has been running great ever since.I recently had a smog check-light issue that needed investigation. There were two issues with the smog sensors. They traced through the electrical to ensure it wasn't just an electrical short issue. They determined what was required to remedy the smog sensor issues. Our car passed the smog test without issue.I highly recommend Concord Auto Electric and Fuel for your automotive repairs. This is the only place that I ll take my car to be fixed. Carlos is very good at his job and always takes good care of my cars. He s knowledgeable and trustworthy. Whenever I take my car in for something, he fixes it on the first go and sometimes he ll even go above and beyond and I ll get a clean car returned to me. He s just a solid guy and I fully trust him with my cars.

Carlos is the best. Very efficient and patient. His pricing is very reasonable and is a whiz at all electrical problemsCarlos is not only an excellent mechanic, he is also an electrical genius. Ran into an electrical problem with 2001 Ford Excursion following the torrential rains at New Year's.Carlos made the time to figure out what the problem was and was able to make the needed repairs and identified where the water was leaking in that caused the problem.Carlos provides a reliable service with consistently great results at reasonable prices. The team at Auto Electric really knows its stuff when it comes to electrical and drivability issues. I had a accident with my 2005 GMC Acadia and assumed my battery draining had something to do with my front passenger side headlight out, leading to a short that was killing my battery in a couple of days if I didn't drive it everyday. He checked the voltage and integrity of the battery and cables and the connections, and asked if I wanted to replace the battery because it may be a factor in the low voltage reading. I said yes, and I agreed to have them replace the battery terminals and fix the grounding cable. Ever since then, I can leave my car not driven for days and there is no problem! No more having to disconnect my terminals every night and connect them whenever I need to drive my car!

We got A+++ service from Auto Electric and Fuel. My check engine light was on in my Expedition. We changed out the O2 sensor and that cleared the light temporarily, but it came back on and now came up with a code that could mean any one or more of 6 things could be wrong with it. Now it was time for the professionals. I was referred to this company by another mechanic. I was so grateful for Michelle's sweet voice and the fact that she told me to bring the car down and they would get it taken care of. They were able to diagnose the car pretty quickly and ordered the parts and I was able to pick up the car the next day. I needed to get it smogged and Michelle took it and had it done for me. If this wasn't enough she vacuumed out my car and wiped the interior down. My husband picked up the car. Carlos gave him a very clear explanation of all of the repairs and what he did. They have a big sign posted in there place that says "we aren't the cheapest, but we are the best". I would fully agree with that sign and was happy to pay a little bit more for the great service that we received. We wouldn't hesitate to go back again.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

You should give this place a chance. Carlos is great! I had an electrical issue that he was able to rectify- not by replacing parts (like most shops), but doing the tedious work of troubleshooting. He was upfront about charges, so there were no surprises, and he kept me updated on progress.

Wow, this place is so great! Michelle and Carlos make a great team and they really care about their work and their customers. I had alternator issues and they took care of it when no one else would. They made sure the car drove well before they returned it, and they also vacuumed it. I thought that was very kind. :) They also do oil changes. :)Would definitely recommend.

If you value honesty in a mechanic and a repair shop, AEF is the place for you. Carlos has worked on two of my cars over the past year and in both cases, the repair work was done in a very honest and professional manner. Due to my automotive repair shortcomings, these are the two qualities I value most. The recent add of Michelle in the office is a great compliment. Carlos solved a problem that no other car expert could! I ve had my car for 2 years and since the very beginning I had a feeling something wasn t right with the brake when I turned the car on. After I had the car for 3 months, it wouldn t start one morning and I had to call AAA who jumped the battery the car seemed fine for a few months and then it would happen again- I d find my car dead when returning to the BART station after a long day at work, and once again I had to call AAA for a jump. This went on every other month or so for 2 years. Everyone I took it to said there was nothing wrong. The Nissan mechanic even said I only needed a new battery in my fob to solve the problem! Finally I found auto electric & fuel, and Carlos solved the problem (it was as I thought, an electrical problem with something attached to the brake) it feels totally different now when I turn the car on. Professional, intelligent, persistent, responsive all the stars!!Carlos and Michelle run a genius mechanics business. Our beloved 25-year-old Nissan Maxima Goldie had an intermittent problem my fabulous regular mechanics could not diagnose. They sent me to Auto Electric and Fuel, because that s where we send the really difficult cases. Absolutely right the problem turned out to involve the carburetor, the electrical system, and the vacuum tubes coming together at odd (and inconvenient) times. Carlos spent two weeks tracking that down, a nice combination of science, engineering, and detective work. He and Michelle kept me informed very step of the way. And then they fixed it! I took my car to the dealer and we had problems, but we then went to Carlos at auto electric and no problems he diagnosed the problem corrected all the dealer missed at a better price and went back 8 months later for regular tune up. Great shop, I had my car towed in to them due to a problem starting the engine and it turned out to be the switch , they are transparent , honest and only fix what s needed .I couldn t it give them more praise.These people are honest and accurate and fast .Service: Auto maintenance

I don't write many reviews, but I had to in this case. Words can't really express how pleased I am with the service I received from the whole team at Auto Fuel and Electric! I wanted to do a major refurbish on my 95 Camry. I love the car and wanted to keep it as long as possible. I was also on a time table to get it done. Once Doug, Hans & Aki got the vehicle evaluated, it turned out to be a great deal more work than we originally planned. Despite that, they did everything I requested (And believe me, that was alot!) and finished on time. I know they all put in a bunch of overtime to make sure I hit the road on time for the trip I had planned! The car runs and rides like new and my wife and I couldn't be happier! I would definitely recommend them for any of your car care needs! Thanks guys!

Oil changed went smoothly and also got free diagnostic on vehicle. Honesty is my biggest thing. The service was on point and very informative!
