4 wheel parts store- Compton..what can I say..?? This is a toy store for adults. Always awesome to come in and drool over all the new parts and accessories..just wish I had the time and money to get everything my heart desires..not only do they provide excellent customer service, but the quality of parts and the all around knowledge is top notch. They also have a price matching policy, which is great and shows they are in the business and will smash on the competition. They are my first choice for all things off road..today I picked up some energy suspension tie rod end boots..prior to this purchase, I've gotten my pro comp wheels, Smitty built roof rack, and various other things for my square body suburban. All were the lowest prices I could find, due to budget restrictions and availability. They never cease to amaze me.

This 4wp Compton location, and specifically management at this 4WP, went positively out of their way to help a customer that wasn't even originally theirs. I would strongly recommend you pay close attention to the way operations are run and how they treat the consumer at your local 4wp branch before investing in them. Clearly this location, cares a great deal about their standards and customer service.4wp Corporate and the branch I initially worked through turned their back when I filed for warranty claim one small item of a $4k purchase order. When I submitted honest reviews on products and poor customer service 4wp corporate deleted and disabled comments on their social accounts. That should be noted, to illustrate that all franchises may reflect different practices.And for that I would absolutely trust this branch location with my family or friends vehicle. They truly illustrated strong morals and ethics, and should be the model that the brand adheres to.

Ordered parts was charged for them never received them. Can't get a response from anyone there. Tried contacting them multiple times. Horrible business practice. It's been over a month since my order. They basically took my money and seem not to care. Would give negative stars if possible. Be careful if ordering anything from this place

I have been coming to this 4-wheel part for the last 6 years, and I keep coming back because the service that I receive every time is exceptional. David and his team have great customer service, and they care about their customers. To be very honest David and his team are the only reason I continue to do business with 4 Wheel Parts in Compton. They are honest in their dealings and listen to their customer's needs.All businesses should have people like them: they take care of business, they take ownership of the shop and they value their customers. My husband (Tony) and I are very pleased with their service

This place has the worst service I have ever dealt with. Waited 6 months for a part and when it did not work, they say they can t accept the return because I installed. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!

I accidently bought the wrong Warn cradle for my winch on 5/8/23. They shipped it super quick, albeit without any shipping notifications. When my winch showed up on 5/18/23 I noticed the error. So I on 5/18/23 I submitted a customer service claim to return the product & on 5/19/23 I received a confirmation email that they received my request & are reviewing it. They have never reached out to me again. I've spent countless hours on hold & have never been able to actually speak to a customer service representative. There seems to be no way to actually talk with a customer service representative & if you send another email they don't respond. I do not recommend this company!

I had a problem with my order. Boxes came in with missing parts. David took care of it. Top notch customer service from 4wheelsparts. Definitely recommend business to friends and families.

Pricing and delivery are great. However, there is ZERO support after that. I wanted to return an item and filled out their return request. I immediately received a response from their Zendesk ticket system. After, 4 follow up emails, 3 calls equaling 3 hours of of being on hold and no-one picking up, Facebook Messenger message over the course of more than 2 weeks now and they have not responded to anything. You really are rolling the dice with this company. I recommend avoiding this place.

I ordered an OME lift kit for my 99 lx470 and received exactly what I ordered excluding one rear bushing. I called the Compton CA 4WP store and my call was answered immediately. After explaining my issue I was sent a new shock that would include this missing bushing. I am beyond thrilled with the customer service of this location. Plus now I will be stealing the bushing from the box and using the extra shock as a wall ornament. Thank you 4WP!

Went to every single 4wp in my area and they all said getting a lift by father's days was impossible. Come the Compton location and was greeted with open arms and was helped immediately. Had my lift ready in 2 days installed in 1. Great customer service

I had a straightforward warranty issue on a failed part, well within the warranty period and with a receipt, and found 4WP to be next to impossible to even reach. When I finally was able to, was told by the "warranty department" that "they don't deal with manufacturer warranties". Ticket closed, no responses since regardless of how I try to respond. With a lot of options out there for parts, I would avoid this company if you can.

Tried to order a custom bumper for my truck. It s been two months and I still haven t received it. Three weeks in, I called customer service wondering where my bumper was. They said the order was canceled! Figuring that it was a mistake, I placed the order again. After much deliberation, and several weeks later, a giant box finally came on a semi truck. It was the wrong part. Now I cannot get a hold of customer service to arrange an exchange. This is the worst customer service experience that I ve had in a long time.

Ordered ball joints from them just after the first of the year and after two weeks of crickets, I tried emailing them with no response. So I called multiple times only to wait on hold for over an hour with 20 some odd callers still ahead. They took my money right away when I placed the order and after over 3 weeks I had to dispute the charges with my cc company to get it back. I submitted a review, similar to this post, on their website only to be sent an email right away stating my review was moderated and would not be posted. Funny how they can respond to that so quickly but can t send a simple follow up email on where your parts are. Don t do business with these clowns. Buy your parts literally anywhere else but here.

Edit: thank you dquinones for resolving the issue! Seems the online/phone order department dropping ball causing low review ratings for the physical store. I hope you grill them on that. I am increasing this review to 4 stars thanks to dquinones saving the situation.Ordered parts for my tent over the phone. Never delivered. Was able to find tracking through their website (email didn t include tracking) and it says delivered to different state. After 30 minutes on hold, was able to get someone who confirmed the issue and promised to resolve but nothing happened since then. I sent multiple emails with 0 response. Funny thing, they have my correct address and the state to which they delivered has nothing to do with me. Check all 1 star reviews here and their pathetically misspelled useless responses. Avoid doing business with them.

Let me start off by saying that Luis helped me out tremendously. He helped me understand the importance and quality of parts that I needed for my jeep. Luis is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend people to come into this location.

Buying from 4wp had been the worst customer experience I have ever had. I placed an order in February for 5 wheels. 2 were shipped to me and the other 3 were backordered. After contacting the manufacturer directly (ProComp) since the wheels are shipped directly from the manufacturer, they told me they no longer make the wheels I ordered and I would never receive them. I have spend the last 4 months sending emails, filing for a refund via the website portal, and now filing a claim with the better business bureau. I was able to return the 2 wheels that I received to a 4wp store about an hour from me and was refunded for those but 4wp still has 700 dollars of my money for the other 3 wheels. Do not do business with this company. Every time I have called (dozens of times), I have waited on hold for an hour until it automatically hangs up. This has been a disappointment as I have order from 4wp for years. If you value your money and don't want to loose it, look elsewhere.

This is my 3rd purchase at 4wp and everytime I make sure to talk with David. He knows his products and is extremely helpful. No hard sell, tells me about products that may be better suited to my needs. Can't talk highly enough about David. 4wp is lucky to have this guy!

I ordered parts from their Canadian website 3 months ago. Apparently they have shut down their Canadian stores, but they have not sent my order and they are not responding to any inquiries about my order status. I've tried using the contact form on the website multiple times with no response. I've emailed them directly with no response. Facebook messenger just gives a generic automated reply. I've spent hours on the phone waiting on hold, just to get disconnected. The one time I got through, they said there's no record of my order because it's from Canada and they would have to contact another department and get back to me. That was almost 2 weeks ago. I have no other choice but to dispute it with PayPal. They took my money 3 months ago and have not shipped my order and will not respond to any form of communication. 0 out of 5 stars, shop somewhere else.

Stay away. I ordered king shocks over a year ago. After being on the phone with multiple people they told me they couldn t find my order. Then they tried to say it was not paid for. I provided the card statement. In the end they refunded funds. Lame company

worst customer service! I placed an online order for 2-rims and a set of lug nuts on wed. I got a call later that night from 4wheel parts saying that they were going to ship the parts from the manufacture to my residence. ups showed up sat. with my package. I opened the box to find only the 2 rims and no lug nuts. I called 4 wheel parts( on hold for 30 mins) to find out where the lug nuts were and was told over the phone to come in and pick them up. I called an hour later to make sure they were there before driving over there. the guy on the phone said they did not have them in stock and I would have to call Monday to speak with customer service. I have been on the phone waiting to speak to someone in customer service since 9:00 am, its now 9:45 and still waiting for someone to answer.

If I could go lower, I would. Terrible customer service. They used ups to deliver my parts, which were delivered to wrong address. I submitted claim and ups accepted responsibility. They said get in touch with 4wheelparts. I did, multiple times after also spending numerous hours on hold, talking to 4 different people of which none have helped. You can leave a message, which I have for several different people, with zero follow up. They told me on Nov 9 I would receive refund in 3-5 business days. Today is Dec 6 and still nothing. Left another message yesterday, no response. Do business elsewhere is my recommendation.

Seems like a scam. Like many others. I placed online order. They charged my credit card and never delivered. Absolutely impossible to get in touch with anyone there via email or phone. Don't do business with these people.

This started off as a one-star review because we had ordered something from their online component and never got it with no response. However, this particular review site is for the physical store that you can walk into. Unfortunately, they need to dissociate themselves from the online part because they actually have nothing to do with it. So if you're ordering something online don't do it but if you want to walk in the store these guys seem to be really on the up and up and care about their customers!

Been going to 4Wheel Parts for years now! Having dealt with Dave has been a great experience, he s knowledgeable has great customer service, very friendly. Very helpful & very kind will always go to Dave for all my stuff.

This store has the WORST customer service! The single star I had to give inorder leave a review... is way too generous!!! I made an online purchase of a smittybilt seat kit from this store. JK tailgate cover arrived. Not the TJ jeep tailgate cover I ordered. No biggie, mistakes happen. Sent numerous emails asking for an exchange. Never any response! So, I called this store directly & they placed me on hold. I waited 20 mins without assistance. Hung up. Called back. I I was placed on hold again as I was in the middle of a speaking. As I write this review.... It's been additional 45 mins. I've been on hold over an hour!!! Clearly, I'm left to dispute w/ my credit card then, buy again directly from smittybilt or a company like EXTREME TERRAIN OR QUADRATEC. No doubt, these businesses surely offer better service. Expecting a customer to sit on hold for an hour is completley unacceptable!

On September 2nd - I ordered two products, paid and since then I ve had zero updates, even after emailing them 3 times. They ve charged my credit card, but have not delivered the parts. I recommend avoiding this place. Today is October 16.Update November 19th - still no product and still no refund after opening support ticket FWPCS00366600 on October 16th with Caroline Hernandez.This is unacceptable. Do not do business with this company.

In summary, I've placed an order online abkut 4th wk in April 2023 and paid over USD 2k in shipping seperately... now its almost July and havn't recieved no parts... ive been chasing 4WP... no response to emails.. no1 picks the phone.. no one responds on insta... im very very sick of this company.. I don't believe this kind of customer service exists or is it because im abroad?!
