I've been going to Tony at Rays auto services for 14 years. He takes care of my mom's nissan mini van, my aunt's Toyota compact car and my 20 year old Ford F-150. Tony is honest and upfront. He has never done anything to make me question his opinion or diagnosis. He will give you an estimate before any work starts. And will always call you if he finds any extenuating circumstances. In today's world it's great to find an honest professional man with expert mechanics who usually take one day for most repairs. I highly recommend Rays Auto Service in Colton CA for all your vehicle repairs. Loyal customer since 2008.

My husband and I have been using Ray's over the past several years and never have we been disappointed with the quality of work. VERY EXPENSIVE$300 for a brake job with my own brakes.Definitely don t wanna know how much it would be if i didn t have them.Plus the rotor machine is extra $25 not sure if that s total or per axle.

We thought there was an issue with the car so we went here. They charged us $45 to inspect the car and told us the car needed parts replaced. We called another mechanic, Guerrero's in Riverside, and found they could do the repairs for cheaper. When we got there, they told us nothing was wrong with the car and did a thorough inspection without even charging us. We almost had to pay a large amount of money to fix a non-existent problem. It was a bad experience. Glad we went to Guerrero's.

I've been going to Ray's Auto Service for a number of years now and have yet to be disappointed with the workmanship or service. Their diagnostics are accurate and their work is thorough and complete every time. Ray's offers something that is hard to find in the automotive repair industry these days. ....knowledgeable service, honesty and quality at a reasonable price.

Looked to me like they overcharged for a part. On the invoice, the part number was listed (which is a good thing imo, but bad for them if they're planning on overcharging), so I looked up the part and saw that it costed $20-$35 depending on the store. They charged over $80 for it. When I asked the guy about it, he said it was because they get quality parts (which again I'm all for) but when not a single place offers it for more than $35, I'm a little sus. Then he started talking about getting/shipping the part there quickly (they had the car for about 4 hours), but that didn't make sense to me at all as to why that would more than double the price. It just sounded like a bunch of BS to me. Note, my wife went in there alone with the car while I was at work and I have a feeling they just saw it as an opportunity to take advantage of someone.

I only been here twice, the first time I follow other people's reviews. I had my oil pan replaced and seal and paid about 250. The second time my car only needed a sensor replaced and they were charging me almost 400. They wouldn't allow me to buy the part myself..of course because the part only cost 100. All I have to say is this place is way over priced..good customer service..but way to expensive. I recommend you trying somewhere else.

I have going to Ray's for several years. I have found them to be professional, helpful and thorough. When additional work was needed, they never pushed me to get it done, but did tell me what need to be done and gave me an estimate. I could back when I had time and funds. I recommend Ray's to anyone who needs service.

I recently bought a car and needed to get it smogged. The first guy that did the initial smog was rude and failed the smog because "the catalytic converter is incorrect..." So I gave Tony a call almost at 5pm that day and he offered to look at the car free of charges and offer an estimate. I made an appointment for the following morning and they were very warm and welcoming even though they were already getting a lot of clients. I waited 15 minutes while he checked everything out. Turns out the other guy made a mistake and there was nothing wrong with my car. Tony did the smog for me and looked to make sure everything else was in order. I was in and out of there in 45 minutes. They have now become my auto shop and I will take my vehicle ONLY to them.

I needed my headlamp changed which I purchased down the street at Napa, which is a very nice business, by the way. Ray's was happy to change out the lamp for me although the lights were still not working. They took my money even though what I came in there for did not get fixed. They offered to charge me a lot of money to see whether or not a fuse was loose. What in the hell has happened to common courtesy and what used to be natural customer service?! This is why Lyft and Uber are so popular! Why not just sell my car and forget about it if this is the way that mechanics treat their customers?!

I will always recommend Ray's AutoService to anyone who is seeking auto repair. Absolutely. The staff is always courteous and professional and costs are very reasonable. I have been a customer for several years and am always satisfied with their work and service.

The reason I go to Rays Auto service is simply because I trust they give the correct diagnosis and repair it correct. its hard to find a place that is not trying to make an extra buck and up sell you.

I went here to get here to get brakes checked.they did the brakes on my car front n back,parts cost was ok.there labour cost is way to high.
