I would like to share some important facts about JM&H Auto, I worked for several years in the automotive repair industry. I met many honest and dishonest customer service personnel, from the mechanics to management. So, when I started shopping for a completely full-service honest auto repair shop for my business and personal vehicles, I learned 9 out of 10 recommendations from business owners of different industries, as well as individuals, all within the Clovis area recommended JM&H auto. They really care about their customers, their vehicles and are great listeners, they're not about the money, they are about customer satisfaction, service and not about excuses or poor I don't know answers, because they get to the bottom of your vehicles problem and resolve it. So, now I take all my vehicles to Steve, Eric and Joe, the 3 heartbeats of this wonderful service, and I am comfortable enough with their honesty that I send my wife to deal with her vehicle issues when I'm not available, knowing they will treat her with respect and not take advantage of her lack of automotive knowledge. So, take your car to JM&H if you want to sleep well at night and not worry or stress out, especially when you are getting ready to take that long awaited trip out of town, knowing JM&H Auto did you right! Replaced the master cylinder & brake booster on our 2010 Jeep Wrangler. Good work, did it in a timely manner & had great communication throughout the process. Up front about costs & no upselling or pressure to do unneeded work.these guys do good work & charge a fair price.

Yes, I m one of those people who knows little about my car and with a very old car, going to someone who is honest, won t push services I don t truly need, is diligent, and helpful takes out the guesswork. Highly recommend

Check engine light was on, preventing smog test for registration. Asked vendor to repair the problem. Charged $500+ and did not eliminate check engine light. Very disappointed!

They were so busy BUT still squeezed my vehicle in to troubleshoot the A/C problem I had. Steve was super cool and professional. Forget all the other shops in Fresno/Clovis, give these guys a go if you need a mechanic.Service: A/C installation & repairService: A/C installation & repair

Overall great experience. Called JM&H because I had smoke coming from the engine of my 2009 Fusion. I took my car to one of the "big guys" in town a month ago with the same issue and they couldn't find the problem. JM&H diagnosed it right away; alternator was toast. The alternator is in a terrible spot and required removing a lot of parts to get to it. (I watched a guy do it on YouTube. No way was I about to tackle that project). I had them fix leaks, replace hoses, belts, A/C repair, while they were in there. Got the car back, it's running great and I actually had to turn my A/C DOWN on the way home because it was blowing so cold. My only regret was not taking my car to them first.Services: Transmission, Auto A/C recharge, Engine repair, A/C installation & repair, Auto maintenance

It's not easy finding anyone willing to work on older vehicles, but Mike and Steve checked for a parasitic power drain on my '97 Chevy truck.They found the problem, quoted me a very fair price, and got my truck back to work. I'm sold and will definitely be going back.

Steve helped us, he was very honest, found the electrical issue with my vehicle right of way, fix the problem and did not overcharge. His prices are fair and he does great job. Steve is fantastic. Couldn't get my headlight bulbs unscrewed myself, he told me to come by and he got them both done. Even though I'd never been a customer before, he charged me zero! Definately a new place to take my cars for maintenance & repairs. As stated in other reviews this is a shop that has integrity and is not out to overcharge you. I'll be back.

My 2016 Acura RDX suddenly had alerts pop up on the dashboard about needing a brake system check. This scared me because a week prior I had taken it to get an oil change at a different business and in the process they were going to do a brake fluid flush, however they said they were unable to do so because they couldn t get it sealed. After these alarms started going off, it scared me that my brakes would go out completely. I had contacted J, M & H Automotive to see if I could possibly bring my vehicle in to be checked, to which they very happily squeezed me in first thing the very next morning. The service was friendly, professional and timely. They immediately started doing a diagnostic check on my vehicle and I soon found out that it was just a bad sensor on my vehicle, much to my relief. I have used this business several times in the past and every single time I have had nothing but amazing service. I most definitely trust them to give me the best advice, putting me at ease. They are incredibly honest as well and try to come up with the best solution for you and your vehicle, even if it doesn t necessarily benefit their company much. I will always take my vehicles to this business for their automotive needs!!! Hands down, the best one in the area!!!Service: Brakes

Steve helped me out in a pinch. I just returned from a 2 week road trip and needed to get a new alternator before hitting the road again. I didn't have much time on my hands, but Steve worked with me. I was pleased with the service, timeliness, and honesty. Thanks Steve!

Frankly, I'm surprised I haven't posted a review yet! Steve and JM&H are the bomb-diggity! They are supremely HONEST and never rude or impatient. They stand behind their work. I TRUST Steve when he or his crew reports on the status of my vehicles. I never worry about getting scammed by these guys.
