One of the few honest and reliable shops left out there. He is a man of his word and there aren't many people left like that. I had a 5mge engine head serviced there and i brought him 3 in total before getting a working one. He didn't like charging me for the first one because it failed, but he put a lot of work into it and everyone can understand that, he didn't even charge me much. The second one passed the first time but after cleaning it failed and he didn't even charge me for that attempt and I know that took a ton of work. 3rd time was the charm :). If you want an honest and reliable shop, look no further. O and prices. Several over machine shops quoted me $2500 for the same thing I got done here for $500. If you are looking for "the" shop. Look no further this is "the" guy

I own a Ford F-150 little did I know that the Ford truck have spark plug issues. I had one blow in July 2020 luckily we were able to twist it back in. 3 months later the same plug blew again, this time it was stripped. Bought the re-thread kit that didn't work. I came across Dave Hiatt Machine shop in Clovis Ca . Being a girl sometimes guys don't have patience talking to us. I tried my best to explain what happened to my truck. He listened to me and took time to explain everything to me on the phone. I did not hesitate. Within 30 minutes I showed up at his shop, He was busy but took time to fit me in for the next day. My truck was fixed the same day. It runs perfect just like when I bought it. Dave took time to explain what happened and why. Anyone out there that needs excellent work done to their vehicle I totally recommend Dave Hiatt Machine Shop in Clovis Ca. He is the nicest man you will ever meet. Took the head off my Jeep 4.0 in to be serviced. Ron was very friendly and upfront about everything. Turn around time was very quick. It looks like a brand new head! Head gasket surface is well machined and smooth enough to accept an MLS gasket. I highly recommend Ron at Dave Hiatt. He will do a quality job at a very fair price.

Their quality of work is top notch, Their pricing is fair and the turn around to get repair work done is very quick. Ron is usually aware of any potential problems before he even starts working on a project that I bring and makes me aware of the fact up front. I would not use anyone else!
