Went here for a general 12 month maintenance in the morning. Later in the day I noticed smoke coming from underneath my hood turns out the engine oil had been spilled all over.Called in to get this resolved at first they wanted me to drive back with the car like this to the dealership which is 20 miles away from where I live. Soon after, they called back and provided me with a towing service back to the dealership.Once I was back at the dealership they told me I d have to wait 2 days to get it resolved even when this was their error. I felt rushed once I was back seemed that they wanted to get rid of me asap without asking me if I had any questions. They send me back home on a lower trim model and requested I bring back the loaner car with a full tank of gas I mean if this is what they consider quality care service for their customers I no longer want to be part of the Subaru family. It just seemed that I was an inconvenience for them. Will have to pay out of my own pocket for their mess. Extremely upset.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

We bought out 2020 Forester in for an oil change on 11/18 without a reservation. Isabella in the service department had no issue setting me up, and while doing so I had informed her that I was going to a funeral and would pick the car up in the late afternoon. When I came to pick up the car Isabella gave me some unexpected news. She had spoken to her manager and they decided they wanted to make my day better by NOT charging me for the oil change. It was such a pleasant and unexpected surprise, and i want Isabella and the Puente Hills team to know how much I appreciated their act of kindness. Thank you again!!!! Even though we live in Pasadena, we will always come to Puente Hills for our service!

took a little over 2 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation with a car wash. Car wash was poor, car was left with water stains. I had made an appointment for this service (still had to wait in line to check in). I had to go to the customer service area to see if my car was ready and employee thought he had already called me which he never did.. when initially he had offered to call me when car was finished. I was quoted for a lesser amount over the phone. In person I was charged an extra $65. Hopefully my car will continue to run smoothly after this service.

Talked to 3 service representatives, all 3 either prematurely hung up the phone or left the call before asking if I had anything else they could help with. No name was provided on their end.

Great service, takes longer than expected but good customer service. Be prepared to leave your car for any type of service, no matter how small.

Subaru Puente hills is the best place for me to go for my routine car check-up they took good care of my 2005 Subaru outback, the waiting area is cozy, coffee, water, ang snacks while waiting, restrooms are clean, with an entertainment center lounge. The people are informative, respectful, and very professional friendly. Shout out to Theresa Marie Claridad at the express service station and Eric from auto parts division for the help and advice about what's to be done to my car for me to be able to drive my Subaru comfortably safe and reliable while traveling the different states without any hesitations and worries while I'mdriving on the road.Again thank you Subaru, Ms Theresa, Eric, and all of the staffs and crew members, for doing a great job well done and more power Subaru Puente hills for being dependable, reliable Express Maintenance service center, keep up the good work !Services: Tires, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

The service advisor was not helpful,older guy didn't know what he was doing. He took forever on the paperwork just for an oil change over 2 hrs for oil change

I went for a free upgrade. At the same time I asked them to figure out once and for all what was wrong with my liftgate. They determined that it was sensors that they had to order. It took two days, but if it keeps working it was worth it. They also did a maintenance check and determined a couple of problems that I had them perform. One thing that I like is that they assign one service advisor who works with the customer from start to finish. Mine was Randy, and he did a great job of keeping me informed.

I went in for the recall on my fuel pump, Mike was very obliging he explained to me that it would take up to five hours and that I would be able to get a loaner car he also pointed out that I had some free services coming on my warranties. I would recommend this service department to anyone who owns a Subaru they are wonderful. Mike called me when my car was done, it was sooner than 4 hours I was glad to find out, and I was in and out with it in no time.

Customer service always drags.. With many attempts calling it's difficult to find the right person to answer your questions. I brought in my husband's Subaru and it took nearly 3 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation with a car wash (which was mediocre), yes I did have an appointment, came in earlier and it still took long. There was only one employee named Eddy available to help and the waiting chairs in the front are disgustingly dirty and torn apart. Thankfully the Subaru is running nicely and for the coupon because even with all the payments, the service wasn't included.

I was pleased with the service I received for an airbag recall. They performed an inspection to identify maintenance issues ultimately needed. I was not pressured to have any additional work done. I will schedule repairs as my budget allows.

I ordered front and rear brake pads for my 2014 outback. The whole process was painless! I received up to date updates as my order was processed, shipped and delivered. I received my order the following day although they stated it may take a few days to fulfill and ship my order. Will definitely order from them again whenever I need to replace anything. I have the piece of mind knowing that I'm replacing with genuine subaru parts and I can't complain about the turn around time. Having 2 kids and working 60+ hours a week makes it difficult to accomplish tasks like this and I was pleasantly surprised at the experience I had.

The service agents are friendly and honest. I took my car for a break chance because I knew it was at the service milage. Before the brake change the crew looked at both and front and recommend to only change the rear since the front still had some life.

Came here to buy an oil drain plug for my Forester. Gave them my year and model number. I went home to switch out the plug and they gave me the wrong drain plug! All sales are final and no exchanges. What a joke. I usually go to the Ontario Subaru dealer to buy parts but I was in the area to the one in Puente Hills. Waste of time and money. Never coming back.

Been having my 16' wrx matenanced here for years always great work done. They do tend to take a while on big jobs. I waited about 2 weeks for a chutch. They usually give a 10$ (taxi) voucher when u drop your vehicle off which is really nice. I use that voucher every time. They will not notice any type of engine light of any other issues of you're vehicle beside whatever is due by milage which can be very irritating. They have even tried to sell me maintenance I've already had done, so be careful with that. Make sure you tell them to check your fluids and any weird issues. Even ask after they finish you're vehicle because they will forget. They won't touch your tires if you have aftermarket rims so keep that in mind. Yes even with a key they won't touch them. There customer service is always polite and helpful. I definitely recommend them.

I took my 2013 BRZ in for service and repair, I needed my throw out bearing replaced and a new clutch. Upon speaking to a really friendly sales rep, he informed me that my car needed a recall as well to which I agreed would be worked on. Fast forward a few days later the same friendly sales rep calls to tell me my car is ready for pick up and finished being repaired. Upon test driving and inspection I noticed my transmission now rattles in first and second gear as well as when turning, which it never did prior to getting it repaired and serviced . And my front bumper cover was installed improperly and the front clips are bent and cracked beyond repair. Friendly staff, but terrible service.

I paid my car off a year and a half early and I needed assistance to cancel my GAP insurance on my vehicle. I spoke to a lady name LINDA DOHERTY and she sent me the paper to fill out and send back to her because I moved out of state. 3 months has went by and I haven't heard anything back from her. I have called multiple times to get an update on my GAP insurance reimbursement check and to see if they have received the information because I haven't heard anything and the service and sales desk will give me misinformation such as one person will tell me that Linda Doherty is not in that day and when I call again same day another person will tell me that she just ran past them and they can only take a message. I am tired of leaving messages and I have been leaving messages with them for 3 months. All I want is someone to process the paperwork I submitted and get my GAP Insurance reimbursement check. That is not hard to ask. I've even called to talk to the General Manager and I haven't received a call from him either. I will never shop here again and unless this matter gets fixed immediately, I will take this matter higher to my lawyer because this is not how you treat your customers.

Mike was very professional, Attentive and Patient. He kept the line of communication open.Unfortunately a loss of a key without a spare did create unexpected expense and grief beyond that I expected but the Service was superb. Bad experience twice. They didnt want to honor my paid warranty or give me a loaner car the first time I ever went for service . I had to fight for it. Second time went to fix my A/C and they told me I had a broken head gasket and was quoted 4500k +. Took it to a regular mechanic and of course that wasn t the case. Really disappointed especially during the this time with the virus. Stay Away!!

I needed a small part for my car. Puente Hills Subaru had the BEST price in the country - I looked at a lot of places that carried the part. I was surprised to receive my part the next day! I would definitely buy from them again. Keep up the great work!

Staff are nice, but in this time of COVID, it's worth mentioning that at least one of their employees doesn't consistently wear a mask indoors. I was there for 4hours last week, and one of their indoor service side employees had his mask hanging off his ear for the entire time I was there.

Beware. I towed my Subaru here because it died out on me. After they checked out my vehicle I was told the technician recommended to replace both catalytic converters and my turbo which would have costed over 6000.00. Not to mention the other service my vehicle "supposedly" needed that would have costed extra. I declined the job. I took my vehicle to an independent Subaru repair shop to get a second opinion. They showed me that my catalytic converters and turbo is fine. The issue with my vehicle was that the timing was off. So after doing a timing belt job (replaced my timing belt, water pump, upper and lower radiator hoses, thermostat and gasket, pulleys, tensioner, synthetic oil change, coolant and radiator cap) that only costed my just under 1000.00 my vehicle drives like new again. I paid PH Subaru 170.00 for a bogus diagnostic. I am very disappointed with Puente Hills Subaru. You have this idea in your head that when you take your vehicle to get serviced at the dealership that you are in good hands. Maybe the technician that diagnosed my vehicle is not properly trained in drivability issues. However my service writer Randy was friendly and empathetic to my issue. Do not take your Subaru here to get serviced.

Waited in driveway for 10 minutes before anyone came out. We did another 10 minutes for a service writer to not show up. Left without oil change. So much for express service.
