Called ahead of time to try and make an appointment they didn't answer, showed up and waited at this place for 45 minutes they helped two people in front of me finally it was my turn mind you two people showed up after me and he looked at my smog paperwork and asked me if I could wait another 40 minutes so he could help the people behind me in line first because "my truck would take to long." Legit the worst customer service.

Stopped by on Friday March 8 at 1pm and then again on Tuesday March 12 at 2pm. The place was closed, no message on the door and no answer at the office phone number.

Great smog shop ran by one guy himself. He s very friendly and helpful. I came in on a Sunday morning soon after they opened. There was 3 cars ahead of me in the wait, but it only took about 20 minutes until it was my turn. I sat inside the waiting room drinking a complimentary water and reading magazines. Great experience and will be back!

The owner there was very nice and runs a place by himself. He happened to want to leave a little bit early the day we went by on a Sunday. After discussing it with him he went ahead and did our car. Being by himself there he gets busy and doesn't or can't always answer the phone all the time. So I suggest on a Friday Saturday or Sunday the days it's open, just drive by if he doesn't answer.

The gentleman in this shop was quiet yet so very efficient. I brought in two cars for smog inspection and he was polite and fairly fast to get both cars done in a matter of 20 to 25 mins. I work long hours and 5 days a week, so this shop is open only on the weekend was an advantage for me. I very much recommend this location.

Very good experience. The guy working this morning, Randal, was extremely helpful. Did everything he could legally do to help me pass. Gave me loads of free advice BEFORE charging any money. Told me my best options FOR FREE. He was very positive and upbeat. Made a potentially daunting experience much easier to deal with. AND I PASSED!I highly recomend this place.

I had a very pleasant experience. I was literally in and out in about 15.I drive an SUV and another location tried to tell me about an hour for $60 plus the $10 cert. SpeedE did everything in a fraction of the time for a total $40.32.Definitely give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Would have given a higher rating if I hadn't been forced to wait for the 3 people who arrived after me to get service before me as he did not instruct me as to the "check-in" process. Service was fast enough after check-in though. With the Groupon..price was excellent

They say they open on Sunday but just not the case. When you arrive there, just door locked and nobody there.

Purchased a smog check at this place through Groupon And called late morning to make sure they were open as per their advertised times. They were, so I headed over after lunch only to find that they were closed, Long before they should ve been.I waited a few days and went back, again in the middle of their workday, only to find them still closed. I had already paid Groupon for the smog check, so had to get it reimbursed and find a new smog place. Sure would be nice if they said on the outgoing message what their actual hours would be on that very day.

Super disappointed with the service that I received. Took my vehicle there and it did not pass smog because of having new batteries and was told by the technician that I needed to go drive and put miles on my vehicle. I was under the impression that when I took it back to get it re-checked that I would not be charged. Not only was I charged I was charged more than the initial first visit. Got a smog deal here off of Groupon. The owner is really nice and super fast. In and out! My only advice is they can't really answer the phone because it's a solo operation so just go down there you will be taken care of speedily Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

Went earlier this morning to get a smog check done. Both Google's listing for them and their own website said they had been open for an hour and a half by the time I arrived, and that you didn't need to call ahead. Just come in and get your service done in person. The hours on their door said the same as well. However, they were closed, with no explanation. I even called them afterwards to see if there was any explanation on their answering machine, but there was none. The service might be great, for all I know, but that's something I'd never be able to learn since they either a) failed to abide by the operating hours on their website and door, or b) failed to communicate adequately that there was something else going on.

Had the most terrible experience here. The tech who said his name was Ryler did not only not know how to check the timing on my Vanagon but also was very rude about it. Poor customer service. Would not recommend.

Avoid this place!Purchased a groupon. Upon arrival I was told it would be 15 minutes. But that I would have to pay $20 extra because it's an '85 Toyota.My 15 minutes turned into an hour and a half because "the other machine wasn't turned on and has to warm up."After all that, it was a few degrees off on timing, so it failed even though all the emissions came out passing with flying colors.I was told I could retest for free.I went home and reset my timing, but went on vacation so I wasn't able to get back in for 45 days. Upon my return he pointed out the fine print he hadn't told me when I left last time. "Free retest within 30 days"He wouldn't make any exceptions and demanded I had to pay again.Screw it. Went somewhere else.Highly recommend AD Smog in midtown.So much for customer service these days!

Website says they are now back to regular business hours, but the door was locked and the place looked abandoned at 2:00 on a Wednesday. Even the hours on the door stated they should have been open, but no dice.

My normal smog shop was closed and needed a quick STAR certified smog shop and I found Speed E Smog close from my normal shop. I first called and the gentleman who I spoke with told me if I could be there within the hour there's no wait and it would take him no more than 15mins. I was there within 5 to 7 minutes and the service was fast, smooth and overall great customer service. Highly recommended for those looking for a good smog shop.
