Lone Star Service rocks!!!!My regular guy retired and moved away and have been dreading trying to find a good mechanic. Looks like we got lucky when my wife found Lone Star Service. Jay is very thorough and knowledgeable. He not only fixed the original issue but also found a couple more urgent issues and corrected them as well. Great price and an even greater value.

GO HERE. Jay is awesome, super personable and knowledgable! I have finally found my forever mechanic, picked my Jeep up today and have already told 3 people they need to go see him. My rear passenger window wouldn t stay rolled up, that same door wouldn t open and I needed pcv hoses changed. He fixed it all and even charged my battery for me. Mr Rubash explained all he discovered on the diagnosis and how it needed to be fixed. He gave me a price for the work, detailed.He did the work in the time frame he gave me and even checked out other issues with the car.I am very pleased with the work and the honesty of Mr Rubash. Jay is awesome! Fair and reasonable, always provides the full rundown of what is wrong, what needs to be done, and provides multiple options. I've been coming here for almost a year now and cant imagine going anywhere else to service my vehicles!

Jay was very knowledgeable in the auto repair industry. My husband brought in his car telling Jay that is was making a loud noise. Jay knew what was wrong and fixed it within a few hours. When we went to pick up the car, Jay showed us the broken pieces. Thanks Jay.

Ive been using Jay (and his incredibly respectful boy Michael) for about five years exclusively. Now if you ve not had pleasure yet, the reason I prefer Lone Star than a run of the mill place where a potentially unexperienced or unqualified mechanic could cost you more money & TIME in the long run by for example failing to diagnose the complete problem was initially.Now with Jay, I know he has been to school, (diplomas right there on the wall) has decades under his belt. He can diagnose and attack issues competently with that skilled eye.I ve NEVER taken a repair back, or felt the need to but if I ever did, he backs all his work for 12months. All the parts and labor are clearly spelled out for you.I will add if you have a strong relationship with your vehicle and are picky about who touches your car you re going find this place perfect, almost like your own private shop the way it s hidden behind moms flowers.

My experience here was great. I m not much of a car guy and the owner (jay) explained everything in terms that I could understand and kept me informed as to what he was doing every step of the way. I feel it is hard to find a good mechanic you can truly trust but I found one at lone star

The only shop in the area to take me in for diagnostics the same day. They had the parts ordered and installed same day with no BS up-selling and fair price for what would be considered a rush job at other places.This place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend.
