I have been going to this location for many years and I always get professional service without waiting very long. If you need to smog your vehicle, give them a call. And if you look up their information online you just might find some valuable coupons.

was there early, but still ended up being 3rd in line. however, I was only there about an hour when everything was said and done. very friendly and fast. pretty clean shop. tech works alone, so I'm thankful for him. make sure you check out their website for periodic coupons!

Best deal and service in town. Only place I'll ever go. It took 15 mins or less for my smog. The service was great, quick and friendly. Was also nice and toasty in there.

Rico went out of his way to help us. His customer service was awesome, and we will only use him for our smogs. Definitely refer him to anyone who needs a smog.

Rico rocks! He is one cool character, friendly and put my 1984 Pontiac through the paces. This Horizon is now my go-to SMOG shop. At the same time, I know the car put Rico through some paces as well given it is hard to get in and out of!Thanks Rico, you rock. Thanks Horizon for having a working EVAP machine. So many shops claim their EVAP machines are working or only do the test certain days.Services: Smog certification, Emissions testing

Worst smog experience I've ever had! Rigoberto Hernandez (the inspector) was rude and lazy... I was skipped in line, by a patron who arrived after me. Then when my turn came, he failed me for a tiny strip of tape what was only present to prevent chaffing and refused to reinspect the area after I removed the tape, stating that he was closing shop and wasn't going to allow a discount for a repeat inspection at a later time. I will NEVER be taking my vehicles to this company as long as this man works for them.

Ligo...he knows what he is doing.Very nice person.My car failed smog check at other service station, but he was able to pass smog check on my old car.

Best shop around it s always been easy to get in and out. Today rego and Maurice had helped me out a bunch even when they were crunched with time and a room full of people. They went above and beyond my expectations for their customers, getting through 7-8 people by closing. They did this with the biggest smile and answered all customers questions. Not the nicest looking place but they get the job done, the technician is very nice and provides plenty of information if your car fails. They accept cash but do not give change.

Great service I was in and out in not too long. There were two people ahead of me and he got theirs done really quick so it didn't take long to do mine. I don't think I was there more than 40 minutes. Thanks Horizon!

Fabulous!!! In n out and under $40 for certificate n smog!! Young man was terrific at his job. I bought him an ice tea next door at 7/11. Do that please it's HOT!!

Rigo is a very knowledgeable and friendly businessman. My mom needed her van smogged and he had a coupon so we went there. His prices are great and service was even better. This was my 2nd time using Horizon Smog in Citrus Heights. The mechanic was very efficient and polite. Although there were two people ahead of me at the desk he acknowledged my presence and let me know it would be about 20 minutes before I would be helped. I did not mind a 20 min. wait and appreciated the heads up. He was equally polite at the end of the test. I recommend Horizon Smog to my family and friends.

I arrived pretty late in the day, a little while before they closed and there were other customers ahead of me, so I wasn t sure if they would still smog my car. However, Rigo was super accommodating and informed me that the wait time wouldn t be long at all, so I waited and he was spot on with the time estimate he gave me. Rigo was very professional, friendly, and informative and he even made me laugh. I will definitely be going back to Horizon Smog in Citrus Heights for future smog tests and I will be referring Horizon Smog to friends and family! Have come to this place for the last 3 times to do my trucks smog checks friendly attendant knows what he is doing fast and efficient would recommend it in a hart beat just remember one man show and first come first serve and you leave you loose your spot bring a book or what ever make you last for your turn.. We all have to wait
