Really they get the one star for terrible customer service. Not to mention I was quoted 1 hour for an appointment I made for a tire rotation. It ended up being 2 and a half hours. Then I was told 5 more minutes which ended up being 30 minutes of just sitting there with no communication from them. I didn t expect to be here for almost 3 hours. So I missed a birthday dinner, my fault for thinking they d be somewhere close to their one hour quote. I totally get things can take longer, but they are unorganized, and their customer service was terrible.

Had 5:30 pm appt. last week for a tire rotation. Tech. greeted me shortly after my arrival, called me while I was shopping to advise that two sensors were out and asked if I wanted them replaced, and had my car ready w/i 45 minutes.

Marquis is manager meterial. He was amazing. Marquis made things so much better over all. Please see Marquis. But we Came to Costco tires for tire rotation terrible customer service from Aaron and Chad. Smiles on their face would be nice, talking to customers in a nice way would also be great. But Costco itself is perfect Chad the manager help us out and made everything great. Thumbs up for Costco and thumbs up for tire center they just need an employee rotation. Marquis your Awesome!

I drive a heavier vehicle, for which the owners manual recommends rotating tires every 5,000 miles. The technician refused to rotate my tires, on the basis that Michelin recommends 7,000 miles. I asked why they had an issue with following the vehicle's recommendation, and he said it creates more work for them. I have not had this issue at other Costcos, so I am chalking this up to a lazy tech on a power trip. I have had much better and more knowledgeable service at other locations, I would avoid this one.

Awful overall experience. Came in to get my tires replaced under the warranty, yet waited for two hours only to find employees coming up with every excuse as to why the warranty won't cover the tires.Customer service was poor, slow, and felt unremarkable. I also observed slow and inefficient work. You could visibility tell the employees did not care about the quality of their work, they put in minimal effort as possible.

We regret not reading reviews before scheduling an appointment here. Worst service ever. My husband was waiting in the storm with our 2 year old daughter waiting for the manager to pull the vehicle out while he was standing around talking. So he called him out on it. The manager said if you don t like it, go somewhere else. And the tech said f*** that customer . That crosses lines that NO ONE should experience. Not okay. Definitely going to take the time to find the right channels to complain.

Good quality tires for lower prices. They do get extremely busy during the day, so be prepared to wait unless you get there first thing in the morning. When I ve gone in the mornings, service is prompt and they always top off my tires if needed. People behind the counter are courteous and helpful. It s good to call and check whether they have your tires in stock. I went in and found out my tires had to be ordered. Since I was shopping anyway, it wasn t a big deal. But for someone not shopping, this could be an inconvenience.

I can't recommend this tire center to owners of expensive vehicles. They damaged one of the wheels and I'm really upset about it. Don't be naive, the "Michelin Certified" basically means nothing. My complaint was pointless, the manager knows this is daily routine. There's zero checks and accountability from the corporate office. Check the forums on the internet. I know someone else who had to get the wheels professionally fixed at the dealer after these guys damaged them.

The tire Center employees are always very rude and unprofessional. The way they speak to you is absolutely ridiculous and they treat you even worse if you have an accent. My family gets all our cars serviced there simply because it s closest to home. Whenever we take our cars there for service we always get looked down at and the customer service doesn t even deserve one star. I was getting my tires changed and never got a call to pick up my car till about 30 minutes before they were supposed to close, the person I spoke with was so awful, rather then owning their mistakes they make you look and sound dumb. He went off at me because my car has been ready for 3 hours but I have not picked it up, when I explained to him that I never got the phone call he interrupted and went on to saying well we close in 30 minutes so you need to come and pick up your car. And that is only one example out of dozens. No sorry or anything. Awful customer service.!!

If you buy tires from Costco? Great! I have for years. But don't expect any follow up. They can't help you in under three hours. Who has that kind of time to sit around? Costco needs to expand this section of their stores because obviously it very popular and profitable!

Had to return two weeks after new tires were installed and 5 new tire pressure sensors replaced the originals on my 2011 car. Tire pressure warning icon had reappeared because spare tire pressure was too low

Never getting our tires changed at Costco EVER again. You would think that if we paid over $500 they would do it right the first time?!! Had the most terrible experience today, with their technician Marquis, the one in the glasses. My husband s Subaru was in their shop from 8 am to 3 pm, yet they failed to change a faulty sensor (despite him paying for it). After he went to pick up his car, the sensor light was still on, they said that the sensor light would go away once he drove the car for a while. Being a mechanic, he went to the Subaru dealership, where they pulled up a computer and told him the sensor light which was installed at Costco was faulty, and sensor showed that the tire pressure was 25 psi, when it needed to be 33psi. My husband went back to Costco, where the technicians checked the sensor again and stated that there was no mistake, however he persisted that they check the computer, they don t lie at the Subaru dealership. The technicians changed the tire sensor again, or they said so. Instead of changing the faulty sensor, technician Marquis just added more air to the tire to raise the psi to 39, and gave back the Subaru, stating once again that the problem was fixed. My husband checked the tire pressure again, it was way over the limit and refused to leave until they fixed it properly. Marquis was angry, saying that he was wrong and that they did it right. How incompetent and RUDE!!! They fixed it again. He got his car back at 5:28 PM!!!!! He wasted his whole day when it could ve been fixed properly the first time. Never getting our tires fixed at Costco ever again! I don t know where the management is looking! We will take our business elsewhere next time, and will NOT recommend this tire shop to any of our friends and family!!

I visit Costco almost every weekend and normally I receive great customer service but, today I stopped to get air in all my tires. I double parked behind a customer who was in the middle of getting air. After the technician finished he knew I next and he totally ignored me. I beep my horn and every single technician looked at me and completely ignored me. I lowered my window and howlered out, no response. I got out of my jeep and walked over and loudly said excuse me can I please get some help. Black technician heard me and didn't acknowledge me, the other 2 white technicians just looked at me continued their work without saying anything. I screamed can I get some customer service? The black tech said as soon as I'm done screw in these nut bolts I will help; meanwhile the other technicians just looked on. Once I got help a well dressed elderly lady walked up and immediately a young white technician walked up asking how could he help her. I looked over at my brother and we were in complete disbelief. We felt discriminated. Not cool. Apparently there's no management working on the weekend. These employees need customer service retraining. Without my money these employees would not have a paycheck.

SUGGESTION: They should make a separate line for people with appointments or ready to pick up their keys and a separate line for walk-ins! We had an appointment and still had to wait for a long time in the general line to drop off the car, and after the service was done we had to wait again in a long line just to pick up the keys. Having separate lines would make the process a lot faster!

Have to agree with a couple of other post here. Customer service personnel at this Auburn Blvd location are not very nice. Actually kind of rude. Desk guy was pretty nice but shop guys were all rude and blasting Drake music that was less than appropriate. I will go back to Les Schwab next time and will not be recommending Costco to friends. The $70 discount was not such a great deal.

Called tire shop for two hours straight. No answer. Called the management, they said tire shop is really busy and just transfered me to tire shop again. Maybe have a call back system? Disappointed in management. They need to step it up. Costco tire center can do better than 3 star rating.

I wanted to repair the wheel under warranty, they had one more hour before closing and 3 workers, but they said that they could not do it because they were closing. the worker was unfriendly

I got all 4 tires replaced and they did it in an hour. Customer service was fantastic and I was able to do some shopping afterwards while they kept the car in the shop. Very happy with service and I will return anytime I need new tires or any services they offer. Definitely the best bang for your buck

Quick, efficient and professional service checking my tires and discovering metal in one of them. Costco patched it up and I was good to go. I purchased these Michlen tires within the past year.

Be careful of James from the front desk of tire center he steals, didn't do the job but instead listens to Rap music. Also double charged me for the job he didn't even do!!!Costco please look into James for me, he needs to be fired ASAP!!!James in the tire center is rude, disrespectful, doesn't work and never answers the phone!!!

Called Costco Rancho Cordova (no answer) then tried Citrus Heights and got immediate professional information on auto batteries. Rancho tires has always sucked, but heading over to Citrus Heights to pick up battery.

Called to set up tire repair next available appointment to install a plug in my tire is the next day when my tires will definitely be completely flat thanks costco great service.

Got up early on a weekend, day for no appointment, first come, first serve, service. Employees were @least 45min late. By then, there was a line of customers standing & waiting outside. They were told there would be a long delay because they can't start working for another hour when all of the employees would arrive.
