I was recommended to this shop by a friend to fix my 2017 Dodge Journey. The price was reasonable. They fixed my car in a timely manner. The staff was very professional the times I interacted with them. I really liked that Raul explained exactly what was wrong with my car, what parts were needed and was very punctual as to the repair completion.I highly recommend this place for transmission work. Paid for rebuilt transmission less than 3200Mi later had to bring back leaking transmission oil . They said they didn't tighten lines that go through radiator. "Good to go"Raul said. next few days transmission started slipping and vibrating , torque converter seals bad had to drop transmission again 2 times later and over a month of it being in shop still not fixed . Asked for $ back now have to take them to court . Do not take your car or truck to this transmission shop .I found someone else's parts on floorboard of my car 8 bolts and access window to a Mazda that they were working on I own a Hyundai?

First and foremost great people. I had lot of work done here. But more importantly they rebuilt my transmission about 10000 miles ago. I cant be any happier with there work. I am a construction worker so I tow. I haul and I sometimes travel long distances. I am thrilled and impressed with there work. Everything I have done I felt like I been treated well and safe after driving my truck away. I drive an older truck but I assure you there knowledge and mechanical capabilities exceed anyone's I have seen. Honest family oriented and definitely trustworthy.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Brakes, Oil change

This is the best place to go for honest answers and quality service. The prices are the best in town. Car issues are a pain to deal with and haveing a great mechanic that isn t trying to rip you off is hard to find , As a female it s difficult to walk into a mechanic shop and expect a true honest diagnosis. I definitely recommend for everyone to see for yourself , are the best !!!Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

Very unprofessionalBroke the engine cover on my corolla and left a tool in the engine if I didn t notice it could have made a lot of damage. I went back and told them they should replace the cover they simply told me I wasn t them and there not going to be responsible. When I picked up the car they suggested me to put a quart of oil so I went to AutoZone to buy some oil thing I asked him to check the oil before putting it in it was perfectly fine. Then they suggested for me to change the CV axles that the right one was making noise when I had new ones put in 3 week earlier. These people don t know what they re doing please stay away from this shop.

I have a 20 year old vehicle that has been almost 100% rebuilt mechanically, a large percentage of which, has been done by this garage. The work is correct, the prices are reasonable, and the people are friendly and professional.

So far, I've been treated with respect and the employees are very professional and they listen.The only problem is that I'm having more transmission trouble and I had to take it back but so far the staff there seemed concerned and told me to bring the jaguar in the morning so they can have a look at it.I highly recommend Richie's transmission's

Took my sons Jeep for a clutch replacement. All went well, price was reasonable and the service was great. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Jeep is running great!

I was recommended to this repair shop by a personal friend not checking for reviews because we assumed there would be no problems. It all started by having our car towed to place to this place of business and mechanic (Ulysis) parked our vehicle inside the shop, we had a really bad experience with him getting our car checked and he kept giving us the run-arounds and decided to get our car our of there and we had to pay out of pocket for towing services. However I later spoke to the actual owner Mr Ritchie and found out that this place of business is a different owner from Ritchie transmissions at the same address being used in website and has own business name (PM Services) and uses the address of 615-B Chula Vista but it does not show up on website and is very confusing, it is easy to misunderstand there are different businesses using same address., Be cautious when leaving your and make sure it is not (PM Auto Services), this mechanic (Ulysis) is not employed or affiliated with (Ritchie transmissions)

I had a great experience with Ritchie Transmission, the trany on my truck went out and Ritchie Transmission did a complete rebuild and I got my truck back in a timely manner, I dont want to forget there warranty as well it beats any shop out there, no other shop ive ever been to offers a 1 year unlimited miles warranty, you cant beat that, I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get transmission work done, overall great shop, great customers service and�great work and care for the ccustomers car.

Recomiendo este lugar ! Al 100% mi experiencia fue muy buena ! Es mi mec�nico de confianza ! Usualmente pido varias opiniones sobre los diagn�sticos de mi carro ! Pero con el sr Ritchie fue el �nico honesto !! Lo que los dem�s me dec�an que era un problema interno de la transmisi�n. Y que me saldr�a m�s de 1000 Dlls ! cuando en realidad solo era que no ten�a aceite la trasmision ,el �ltimo mec�nico me cobro por el servicio de trasmicion mas nunca le dio el servicio ala transmisi�n ! El Sr Ritchie muy honesto me dijo que no ten�a aceite la transmisi�n !muy agrcadecida. Y el segundo trabajo al igual muy buena experiencia Encantada de haber encontrado este lugar!! Bendiciones. !
