As a service business owner, I can say it takes one to know one, meaning, you can tell when a service business is built for success. While my experience may not be the same as everyone else I can tell you that the customer service team here today for me was done professionally. Customer service begins with the customer looking for a service provider. I found discount tire quickly as it was conveniently located near my location. Their ratings were very good so I decided to go get my needed tire sensors looked at and replaced. When I arrived met my a service advisor by the name of joel. I explained that I needed two of the sensors in my wheels replaced. He met me at my vehicle and tested them. After the testing determined that three of these sensors were bad he recommended all four to be replaced. In addition, he noted that my rear wiper was also in disrepair and should be replaced and he measured the trailer of my tire, so he could let me know what condition they were in and when they may need to be replaced. ( A good service company will always tell you what you need, not necessarily what you want. The best service companies will also educate you on the why. ) in line with a better company, Joel took a moment to explain the condition of my tires and when I should consider getting them replaced. I know about the windshield wiper and asked him to add it into the service. As for the sensors I agreed with him that they should all be replaced at the same time and gave him the go-ahead to get started.At the beginning of the job they take down your information including your phone number and you receive a text immediately, with a link letting you know, when they start work on your vehicle. The text also has a link for you to check in to see what's the status is on your vehicle. You will also receive a message when it's complete and ready to go. While I was waiting I had one of the service Team come out and let me know that my vehicle was done and it would be pulled up to the front where I could retrieve it. These are the things that make up a good company. I was impressed with their work and will certainly go back and I recommend them to anyone who may be looking for tire service or any of the other services they offer.

First time buying tires myself, always had someone else to help me out. So I'm trying not to get taken advantage of when I go in. My family has always used Discount Tire but I have a Costco membership now so thought that may make sense. It seems like maybe Costco has better deals on premium brands while Discount Tire is cheaper overall. I am a loyal Discount Tire customer. I thought I needed new tires on my car. When they went out to take a look, the guy said, "Your tires are perfectly fine. You won't need new tires for a while." He also was very thorough about my tires and pressure. He checked everything and sent me on my way. And for that, they got a loyal customer (and they have always been really nice and professional in all my dealings with them since). There is a lot of employee turnover in this business, and I can't say they are necessarily better from year to year. When shopping around for a new set of tires, they understand that it can be a little overwhelming to try and sort through a large inventory. If you re considering a new set of tires but just aren t sure what to expect, they got the solution for you. There s no better way to find out how tires actually perform than to hear from people who have already driven on them! Wonder how a tire is going to handle the cold? Or maybe you want to know how long a tire will actually last. No matter what you drive or where you drive it, their goal is to provide you with everything you need to get the right tires for your ride. I got new tires for my 4Runner installed here today, Sean billed me, Nick took care of me and Alex got my vehicle for me. All amazing costumer service. Was in and out within 1&1/2 hours went there at 130PM on a Friday and it wasn t too packed, definitely started picking up costumers when I left at 3PM. Thank you guys for the awesome service, this is my new store until I move!

Woke up this morning to see my driver side, rear tire, a bit flat. I had gone to discount tires because they offer the free air check on your tires the last time I was there the service was great and in the service is pretty quick. As I got the tire pressure, checked the service provider noticed it was indeed a flat I had to get my tire checked to see if it was repairable or if it needed to be replaced everyone was super friendly and professional. Went through all of the possibilities and quoted me different prices, depending on what needed to be done, I went in at 9:30. My vehicle was done at 10:30. They have reasonable prices and I ll definitely be back to replace all four tires.

BIG UPS to my honest, hard-working, customer friendly, dedicated to providing the best service folks over at Discount Tire. The site manager, Sam, always takes the lead when the que of customers gets too hectic. His leadership is infectious, and his smile conveys the message that he will take care of you and fix your problem. Also, I would like to point out Antony, one of the young technicians, for his excellent communication skills, patience, and overall good attitude during a time in this country when those traits are sometimes hard to come by. THANKS TO YOU BOTH for providing me with excellent service on my car today. I will be recommending this tire center to everyone I know!

My first and last visit to DISCOUNT TIRE on E H Street, Chula Vista.I purchased a new tire to replace my damaged tire and they screwed up on the installation real bad.Mistake No. 1 They did not or forgot to replace the damaged tire.Mistake No. 2 They replaced one of the good tire with the new one.Mistake No. 3 They mounted the new tire in the front against their own advertised recommendation.Mistake No. 4 Sam the manager argued with customer that everybody makes mistakes.I will not trust DISCOUNT TIRE with my car tires safety.What a nightmare and a waste of time!

No one wants to deal with a flat tire or car issues, so for me, this place takes off the pressure! I'm always treated with respect and fast service (as fast as possible), and I always feel like I'm being offered a good deal / what I need. I especially like that when I go in for safety checks and to have my tires rotated/balanced - I'm not charged a thing!

What a great service here, wow! Ordered tires online, made appointment at the same time, rolled in and was out in maybe 40 mins? On a busy Friday afternoon! These guys are so well organized here.The manager was really quick taking care of everyone and just making sure there are no lines and people not served. Just straight up amazing service. Pleasant experience.Big kudos to whoever is running this location.

Last year or so ago, I went to this location and was met by an arrogant Sales person. I didn't get his name because my husband was so disappointed with the way he treated me .I reported to the manager and the manager called back but we kinda played phone tags. So far since last year, I have been going to different Discount tire locations for free air and free check up on wipers and air. Because Alex is always nice whenever he puts air and check my Tire gauge, I promised to come back and have them change my wipers before the end of this year. I always go here for Tires but because the way the former Sales person treated me I have been getting my Tires at the Broadway and I Street location. They are more professional and don't treat women like we don't know anything about cars. Granting that we don't they shouldn't take advantage of us.

Sam stepped in as the manager to take over as I was taken aback to learn after a few months my tires weren t covered by the warranty. He went and took a look at the tires himself, specifically showed me the issue was with my alignment, then proceeded to provide me with an affordable recommendation.We looked at the tires on the vehicle together and he explained why different tires would be better and were not much more expensive. I am impressed with Sam and will continue to be back.

I had a totaled tire and rim on my heavy cargo trailer. I brought it in unannounced. Replaced it new in two hours for a reasonable price. Quick friendly service

We had 2 nails on our tires, brought them in and they repaired it fast. We went here before also to do a quick air check on the tires. Same guy assisted us, Seth I believe. Really nice and friendly dude. Love these guys though ! Always great friendly service !

Got two new tires, two tire sensors, and got a jump because my car died in their shop. I was unfortunately a high maintenance customer lol, but Sam, the manager, and his team were extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient. They are doing a great job at this location!

My first visit this location.Placed four tires order online on the 31st of May. Tires were delivered to the store yesterday. This first morning I had four tires replaced.I feel safe driving now. Thank Discount Tire H St. Really appreciated your service.

Terrible customer service from the manager SAM! Paid in full for 4 tires and Sam said he would call me to schedule install the next day. 1 week later and no call so I called them to ask for a refund. The clerk who answered the phone could care less I was unsatisfied and lied about issuing the refund. After another week I had to walk in to inquire about my refund and come to find out out from Shawn, the only good experience i had with an employee, the refund was never issued. Lots of LIES from this MISMANAGED Discount Tire on H St. STAY AWAY!

They will not fix your defective tire in a timely manner. They will find excuses to send you away. It is a waste of time speaking with the manager, Sam, as he is rude and aggressive. Refuses to hear the issue. Told my son to drive his car with dangerously defective tire and to come back after the weekend. Although he admitted to having the tire at another nearby store, yet he told my son to drive there. When a defective product is brought back, they should have couriers between the stores, and fix the problem. They will sell you tires on the spot, but will not care to address a dangerous defect.

They tried to sell me scratched lug nuts and thought I wouldn't notice. I had a feeling something was wrong when the tech told me I would put different lugs on. So I decided to look an wow half the paint was scratched of the lug nuts already. Shawn came out and said if they don't meet your standard we will put the Old one's on. I told him it's not about standards and asked him would you buy them if it was your car he told me to stop talking I am wasting time. I will be contacting corporate to make sure they don't pull this stunt on any one else!!!

Sam and Hugo are amazing they really know how to take care of you. The whole crew is amazing ! The guys inside are always working hard no one is just drifting. Excellent service. There is always someone that is "privileged"wanting to get faster service but they need to understand that they are extremely busy all the time. Come here it may be busy but they back it up with awesome service!

Carlos is awesome! After explaining my months long tire vibration. Which Only occurred at freeway speeds. Carlos knew what what was causing the vibrations. Previously I had taken my Toyota back twice to the Dealership & and spent a several hundred dollars, with no resolution. I decided to try Discount Tires as they have always given me great service. I would give ten stars if was allowed. Thank You Carlos I will always be greatful.

Discount Tire is very highly regarded, but my experience was not the best.Once you purchase your tires online you should receive a phone call confirming your order and what not. We did not have a phone call.I decided to call only to find out that the tires we had bought whlere being sold but are discontinued, but that they have available another set that will fit. No biggie, that's understandable (though why sell tires that are discontinued? Hmmmm). They are available and can come in as a walk-in.When I arrive, I wait 2hrs only to be told that the tires that they said I could have actually are not available AND they only have 4 (I purchased 5), only to make me wait another hour to put on a (slightly) smaller tire. I'm gonna have to come back to get the other tire later in the day.Discount Tire is great, don't get me wrong... But this particular experience was not the best. A lot of money spent only to not get what I had purchased, having to switch once more on me, making me wait an extra hour as well, and still having to come back.Though it is 3/5 it's more of a 2.5/5 ATM. We'll see how things go next time I come back.UPDATE: as soon as I arrived I explicitly said to not roll down the driver window because it won't go back up... So they rolled down the window.2/5 stars for now.

This was my 1st time coming here and I left with a smile! I needed to get one of my tires plugged and they do it for freezer! I didn't know that before today Very courteous staff (over the phone and in-store), my car went immediately into a bay after my arrival, and wait time was only about 45 mins. I'm bringing my car back here for new tires in the near future. Thanks to everyone who assisted me there at Discount Tire!

I received great customer service from Sam (manager) at H street location In Chula Vista, California. He set my situation straight in a timely manner after I had an issue from another store in La mesa when they installed my tire inadequately and experienced other problems there. I do want to mention the manager at the La mesa location was also very helpful and helped set up the great service I received from the H street store, because they had the tire in stock I needed there. Both managers were fantastic in helping me resolve my issue and restored my faith in the company name. Top notch customer service from this company. You can't go wrong! Thank you!

Was quoted $100 to change 1 of my tires as an intallation fee! I told the rep over the phone I could go next door to costco and they would charge me $20. Was clear was trying to take advantage of the situation. Ironic they call themselves "discount" tire.

Excellent service. The MOST friendliest tire business that I've been to. Every customer that came in..was treated like family.. I was there for an hour at most because they were busy.. I recommend everyone to get their service done here.
