There are quite a few Joe's auto repairs. This is for Jo's Auto and truck repair in chowchilla. I've never had any problems with Jo. He is way too friendly to be considered rude. He's always been professional, quick, helpful, and works with you. I don't have much money and I know I can trust him, not to over charge me or do anything shady. My parents and myself have taken our cars to Jo for years. I moved out of Chowchilla, but have had my car towed to him from two towns over. If you are looking for a shop, Jo's Auto and truck repair in chowchilla, ca is your shop. Don't listen to the negative comments. I've worked in customer service.You can be perfect and still will have people hate you. Look at Jesus Christ. He lived a perfect life, did miracles and they still hated Him. They crucified Him on the cross. He died for our sins.

Jo/Jorge is a very knowledgeable, trustworthy, hard-working, and flexible family man. He offers fair rates. I've seen him not charge me for things he could have. I've seen him do extra work that I wasn't expecting. In town, he'll pick you up/drop you off. I was referred to him by a long time local farmer ... he had lived up to expectation.

I had my ram diesel repaired here and had nothing but the best experience fast honest service great honest prices. He saved me thousands rather than going the dealer. I appreciate him and the business he serves to our small town. My grand father had the same style of business for over 25 years in chowchilla sometimes its not the service you provide its the people that are un happy no matter what.... Jo's is a great choice

Shady is the best I can say about this guy. He had us sign an estimate for the diagnosis which was $144 and all that I wanted to pay for as I would do the repair myself, but this slick Rick decided to order a part and do a repair without our authorization and at the end of the day charged us over $400 I should have told them to take out the part (10min of work) his guy put in and put the old one back. I do believe that there are some laws against this kind of practice but again this guy is as shady as they come and doesn't bother to do any of the work himself just hands it off to one of his employees who he talks to in a very condescending fashion but he does it in Spanish thinking that you can't understand what he's saying. By the way the repair he did fixed nothing. Thanks for nothing Jo

Was driving back to Palm Springs on the 99 when the serpentine belt on my car blew at 70 miles per hour. Had to pull off the road and limp to Joe s. After explaining my situation he put me to the front of the line even though he was very busy. He cut his lunch and worked overtime to help me avoid having to pay a night in a local hotel. I can t thank him enough for his patience and generosity. I can only give 5 stars but he deserves 10!

After reading negative reviews on this place I was worried. But ill tell you it's a lie. I was out here from Oklahoma to help family and had a leak in my power steering cooler. He got me in and fixed in a day and a half. Young lady at front has great customer service and a jo was more then willing to help me out and get me on the road. Thank you and if I need anything when I'm back I will use again. And I told family about it to send him more business

Very rude people. Was put on hold for several minutes and then finally when I was able to speak with the guy, I was rushed when I tried to inquire about getting my car serviced. Not worth the time.

So I had my van towed to this repair shop and the owner was nothing but rude. I called the tow company that left my van there and said they gave the keys to my van to the repair shop. I called the repair shop and was treated with nothing but disrespect. The owner was condescending and absolutely rude. I just wanted to know if they had my keys but all the owner would say is "I don't know who you are, don't call back" several times. He wouldn't even tell me if he had my keys. If possible avoid this place at all costs, no one deserves to be treated like this. I can't imagine how he treats employees if he's rude to customers like this.Edit: obviously I wasn t going to get my van repaired by someone disrespectful. And by the look of the reviews others have experienced similar things. Just be kind to others not yelling, it s not that hard. Some people call it being human :)

I took my van in for diagnostics for my transmission and they found a loose bolt which they tightened and cleaned some connections and it has been running great ever since then! The customer service was excellent and they really seem to want to help fix the problems!

Nobody enjoys needing car repairs, but Joe is fair and honest... His main concern was ensuring my vehicle was safe to drive. Plus he worked with me, i couldn't have done it otherwise... Thanks Joe, I'll be back!

My Husband and I have been taking our Vehicles to Jo since 2006 and he is fair, honest and always does excellent work. I have a 2002 Infiniti that had 96,000 on it when we got it. Jo has been it's mechanic from the get go. It now has 346,376 miles and that is all to Jo's excellent care.

Hi my name is Jorge and I'm the owner of Jo's auto repair. I just wantJimi to said thank you for all your business during 2017 was a great year for Jo's auto repair and for those who said they had a bad experience with me over the phone I don't know who they spoke to becouse I remember when I spoke to Daniel Vega they tow your van on a Saturday wish we are close the day.we did not get any keys and your van was blocking my gate for 3 days.so if your not going to repair your vehicle don't tow it to somebody's property.but thanks for your reviews.

The biggest rip off mechanic that takes advantage of people especially golobal older people my dad had his car worked on there he sed all he changed was the computer on the car but came out too almost 2gs ok car never ran right check engine light wasent even on when we took it got the car back and the check engine light kept coming on he gave my dad a year warranty on the work done Wich was that the car wouldn't start so we took it too him had it for about 3 weeks and the problem is back so we tow it back he fixes it charges another 300 dollars to get it running again on a part that cost 40 bucks at AutoZone he charged 300 let's see what other thing he rigged to go out on the car to have it keep going backService: Engine repair

Took my car here with a brake problem that seemed almost impossible to get fixed but they were able to get the job done and had my car back to me the next day at a fair price too.
