10/10 service. They are so kind and respectful, they show you pictures of everything they did and explain it and what you need to do next to help your car. The prices are honestly the best in Chico. Just really great experience at a car shop..which is a rare experience in my opinion. I ve been telling my friends and family they should use these guys for their cars now haha.

Requested a transmission flush and filter replacement since it was slipping gears. It was a quick fix before I order the parts to fix it. They brought to light a couple issues I have to fix. After they were done they made sure it was topped off and it didn't slip driving home. Thanks you guys for an awesome service even though it's a bandaid fix. Only because you guys are so amazing 10% off the shop for any employees or customers. Your crew is awesome keep the awesome work up.

I needed brakes and decided to call based on a mailer. They got me in same day, and it didn't seem like it was because they were slow; rather, they just seemed efficient and competent. There wasn't any upselling. In fact, I talked with a manager or owner for awhile about how much I hated that, and he understood. They did great work and the price was more than fair. I mentioned that I'd be needed rear struts in relatively near future, and he sent me a quote 20 mins after I'd left, which also seemed super reasonable. I'll absolutely be going back. I'd tried other shops and getting them to call back, much less provide a straightforward quote, was a chore.

Buddy and the crew at Tedious Repairs is the best! I drive over a hour to get my cars serviced here because I know they will get the job done correctly and in a timely manner. I would recommend their services to anybody I know without hesitation!

Man I can't say enough good things about Buddy and his staff!! After a bad experience with a car dealership. Buddy and his staff rebuilt my whole engine. Replaced my alternator and cooling system!! My car is like brand new again. It wasn't just like here is your car back either. Several days after all of the repairs. Buddy continued to check in with me to make sure my car was still running good. He's giving me nothing but honest advice and more than fair pricing!! A really good vibe and atmosphere around the whole place too!!! I'll never take my cars anywhere else when I need some work done but Tedious Auto Repairs!!! Thanks again everyone!!

I can honestly say this was the best experience I ve had at a mechanic. I called them in the morning. They diagnosed, and fixed my truck in the same day. They kept me updated with everything along the way. The website was a great tool too.

It s been almost 2 weeks since Tedious Repairs did the water pump and timing belt on my 2009 Honda. It has been wonderful, the noises that the engine was making like it was on its last leg are all gone. Any future work that I need done on my car. I will be returning to Tedious Repairs.

Ive taken both of my vehicles to Tedious now. Most affordable and reliable shop in Chico. I ve needed oil changes and they've got me in that same day usually within the next hour. I also appreciate the in depth inspection of the vehicle with pictures included. Nice lobby with cold drinks on the house. Got us in right away. Easy to find. Owner was Helpful and friendly, didn't talk to us like we were girls. Thorough inspection. He went over things but didn't pressure to get anything done right away. Definitely will recommend.

Got my oil changed. Very awesome service gave me my inspection without trying to push any sales on me. Will definitely return and definitely recommend to anyone who needs any repairs done or even a simple service!

I'm not a car guy so to know I now have someone to rely on for car maintenance and repairs is fantastic! The communication, clear and direct quotes, and easy methods to approve/deny suggested repairs while I'm at work made today's experience a first, but definitely not the last!Thanks guys!

Called to schedule an appointment and was seen that same day and was even able to get vehicle before my kids got out of school. Honest place about what was wrong with my vehicle and was even encouraged to do repairs I could do myself. Great customer service! Will def use Tedious Repairs again!

I was searching for a mechanic for my 99 Honda CRV. I was hesitant cause I knew that it had problems and I would be takin for thousands. I finally decided on Tedious Repair (TR) and I m glad I did. It was on the 22nd of December. I got a report with pictures the next day with all the issues. I called in and told them to address the critical ones, Transmission and Coolant Flush and refill, and Engine coolant temp sensor. It was done that day and I picked it up before Xmas Eve. Buddy from TR even stayed late so I can pick it up after work. There was communication, there was up front diagnosis, They went above and. Rhonda to get me car back before the holidays. I respect that. Give them a chance to show you the same.

I have an 03 civic, Buddy and his mechanics did an excellent job repairing extensive wear and tear parts on my car and at a fair cost and in incredibly fast turn around considering the amount of work done. My Lexus was sitting in my shop for like 6 months due to electrical problems. ever since I replaced my engine I couldn t figure out the issue so I took it to Tedious and they Fixed my car!! Now I get to enjoy it again!! Thank you so much!! Best place and great communication. I recommend this place 100%

I am forever thankful for the guys at Tedious Auto Repair, they did quality work on my truck. I had an issue that was unheard of and complicated but they got it fixed in a timely manner. They were super courteous of me and my situation. I was a little hesitant because of the labor rates but I do not regret it now. Quality work was done to my vehicle and I can tell no corners were cut, which is a hard thing to find these days. Buddy is seriously one of the most likable and most communicative people you will come across and the tech that worked on my truck went above and beyond with his service. A diagnosis charge was almost $400 . The notification was a maintenance notification. No way in hell I am ever using this place or calling again. In a very hard situation that I was in, I brought my car to these amazing people. I had been stuck near Shasta Lake. I was towed to Chico. Tedious Repairs isn t open on weekends but happened to answer my call on Saturday. Long story short, I was told I could bring my car and drop it off to have it looked at on Monday.The only thing I knew about what was wrong with my car, is that there was an issue with one of the million different hoses and I couldn t drive faster than approximately 35/40 mph. My husband who was in Oregon felt he knew the problem as a master mechanic. The owner was gracious enough to say, Listen, you haven t signed any of the paperwork, so I really can t touch your car but if you would like, you can open up the hood and I can just peek in to see if I notice anything. I opened my hood, he gave a little smirk, then a fun smile and quickly saw something. He reached down, snapped this little hose back where it belonged and said, Take it for a test drive, I m pretty sure it s the problem. If it runs well, keep driving, if not come on back, but I m pretty sure you will keep driving. This man could have easily taken advantage of a woman s money and pretended it was a large problem. Thankfully he was beyond honest. This allowed me to be able to afford to go pick up my sisters ashes. I would not have been able to do so if someone had wanted to scam me. I thank this place. I thank the honesty and kindness that many people in this world don t get to experience very often. Feels good to know there are still people out there that aren t just trying to make a buck and take advantage.Thank you so much. Kathleen

These guys are great! Its super easy to set up a date and time for drop off that works best for you. The owner, Buddy is very friendly and communicative from the moment you drop your car off till you pick it up. I was able to drive it home the same day feeling much safer and informed of the overall health of my car. Not only do they fix whatever you dropped your car off for, they thoroughly check your entire vehicle and upload pictures and videos along with a detailed report of your vehicles overall health. Honest and reasonably priced. I recommend them to all my friends! My car water pump blew while visiting friends in Chico. It was a Saturday and by luck I found these guys. After turning my car in I didn't have to do anything. They handled everything. I had warranty on my car and never had to make a claim or call my dealership because the people at Tedious dealt with them for me. They didn't have to but they were happy to! After the repairs and it was paid by me and the dealer they held on my car until I can get myself back to Chico. They made the whole ordeal of breaking down while out of town so much less stressful and I am so grateful. Go to these guys! They take care of you!
