Do NOT use them for painting! Brian gave me a quote of $600 to paint the hood and gas tank for my 1928 Model A Ford. I dropped the parts off on April 19. Brian called me on April 24 to tell me that the price would now be $1600! I wanted the job done, so I reluctantly agreed. I called them every 2 weeks until the job was done in August! When I went in to pick up the parts (the 1st time), I found they were 3 shades darker than the sample they were to match! I told them the job was totally unacceptable, and I wanted the parts re-painted. At first they said No, and I must pay the $1600 or I could not have my parts. They finally agreed to re-paint the parts, but only if I paid $350 for more paint!! I considered small claims court, but decided $350 was cheaper, so I agreed. One month of phone calls later, I went in to pick up the parts and they were still 2 shades darker! They agreed to re-paint a 3rd time, and they somehow got a rep from the paint factory to match the paint at their shop, and the color was OK. When I picked up the parts in August, Brian told me that they could not do the final buffing on loose parts, and that he would send his painter to my house in Paradise to do the buffing after I got the parts installed. After 3 more months of phone calls, Brian told me yesterday that he is simply not going to send a painter to do the final buffing as he promised. I learned that NorCal had outsourced all of the painting to an outside shop, and the employees at this shop did not show up for work, quit regularly, etc. I am Very Disappointed with the broken promises, false price quotes, failure to return phone calls, and the fact that it took me from April to November to complete this small painting project with NorCal.Service: Painting

Best people in town got my truck done perfectly how I wanted it they do custom everything and at a good price they are very thorough, amazing staff and the owner/boss Bryan is very professional and polite and makes it as simple and straightforward too help get the job done. His assistant was on top of everything as well she coordinated everything really well, very good people at this shop will be a life long returning customer!

I brought my 1969 Mustang in to get measured for wheel fitment. They took their time to understand exactly how I wanted the wheels to look and they nailed the backspace and wheel size. Very knowledgeable staff with a real passion. They were friendly, well priced and quick.

I had a ground up restoration done on my Car and it turned out spectacular. Jeff, the owner and their top notch mechanics and awesome painter Allen worked patiently with me through the whole process giving me expert advice. I had no idea what I really wanted and their expertise paid off for me. Could not be happier.

They do not come through with what they promise. I contracted for $6,000.00 to paint and restore my 71 VW Beetle. They told me possibly 2 months turn around time.I experienced many problems, I had to call them every two weeks for updates and they always complained and asked for more money. I supplied all the parts, including finding parts in junk yards. The reassembly was done poorly, there are problems with the paint job, and I am still having to work on the car myself, hire others to correct their problems, and they even sub-contracted out some of the work, and charged me for it, and I was never told who did the work. It ended up costing me $20,000.00 to them, plus it cost me even more to correct their poor workmanship. And it took six months to get my car back. They promised me a showmanship job, and expert workmanship at a reasonable price, but delivered just the opposite. I plan to ask for part of my money back. It boils down to lack of integrity. I do not recommend them,

Have had extensive work done On my hot rod truck I have found NorCal Rids and Rides to be outstanding in all aspects of automotive repair. They are thorough and meticulous in their work and their shop rate is reasonable.I will only take my truck toNor CalRods/Rides

As I look back at the experience. I could not recommend them. We had a target price and it ended up costing 2x that. The outcome was not worth what it cost. At the end as things were getting tense, the bodywork quality went way down. I just wanted out!

Very informative on questions you ask , i have never had to return for any problems after the work was completed . In my opinion this shop is the best anywhere .
