Daniel has treated me like a queen ever since I bought my Volkswagen in 2014. They do great work and keep me informed on what I need, and if something goes wrong with my car unexpectedly, they are always very quick to take care of me. I would not hesitate taking any foreign car to them, and they only work on foreign cars here. After I bought my Volkswagen in 2014, my previous mechanic (Craig at Younique Automotive) had to refer me because he did not do foreign cars. His enthusiastic and informed recommendation was appreciated.

Went to Guido s because I have family and friends that have came here that recommended me. After hearing and feeling multiple issues wrong with my car after purchasing it 4 months ago I called the dealer to try and help diagnose and they gave me the run around with my warranties and he took the time to make some calls, look at my warranty paperwork and found I had a recall on my vehicle wrote down the recall and the number and told me that the basic warranty should cover the diagnostic fees. He didn t have to take his time out of his day to stop and help me with this but he did knowing he wasn t going to be the one servicing my vehicle. Very honest people if I have any other issues or concerns with my vehicle they will be who I go to.

Daniel and his staff are amazing , hands down the best foreign car shop in Chico. I went in to have a service light on my 2012 Mini Cooper that no other shop could seem to get off and they where able to tell me exactly what the problem was and fixed it in no time . Later I had a small finder bender and they where able to fix my damage hose , rims and tiers . They are very knowledgeable in what they are doing and have the best prices. Very kind and honest, i recommend this shop to be your first stop.Services: Tires, Auto glass repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes

Excellent service, visit was pleasant and an overall great experience. Pleased with the labor and care for my C300, got the thermostat replaced. The courtesy ride to and from work during the repair was much appreciated. Looking forward to them caring for my car in the future.

The owners, Daniel and Dean, are both exceptional. They are kind, honest, hard working, fair, funny and really nice men. I have been taking my Mercedes and my Volvo there for years. They have always done an excellent job at a fair price. I would highly recommend Guido's Auto Precision over any other shop. I am extremely satisfied!!!

10/10/2022Five stars again for my recent visit. Thanks Guido's!5-6-2022Took Porsche in to shop since engine light came back on (which they anticipated). Engine idle was surging. They did some diagnostics and found a vacuum leak at idle control valve. Replaced gasket (and a couple of old bolts I noticed) and re-set the idle system. Car runs great now. Honest place here. Nice to have an auto shop you can trust.PreviousTried to figure out how to add a new review without success. Anyway.Went in today because a check engine light came on in my 911. They spent time to diagnose problem and helped me out.This place is awesome. I won't go anywhere else for my porsche/bmw auto service.So far so good. I stopped in with my 1999 Porsche 911 to ask about getting service for my car which was having issues starting warm (hot). Daniel was at the service desk when I walked in and I explained what was going on....he got up and walked out to my car and did some inspection. Then he walked back into the service area and pulled a mechanic (who was working on an older...and quite desirable I might add....Porsche) to test battery draw on start attempt. Impromptu diagnosis from mechanic seemed right on. Starter or cable or both.Anyway, scheduled an appointment for service. Will follow up. So far great service, even helped me push start my car so I could get back to my car's home garage.Next visit: appointment at 8am, fixed by 1pm. Price as quoted. Clean shop, nice people, I'd return for more service if needed.Update 8/17/21 - repair still working. Starts right up - cold, warm, hot. Daniel and his shop was amazing. I had rear brake pads on my 2018 BMW X3 that needed replacement. They gave me a ride to my home and back, no questions asked. When I returned later that evening they had vacuumed the inside of the car and washed the car as well. I needed an oil change on my audi q5 and didn't want to drive 90 minutes to the closest audi dealer. Guido's did not disappoint! They performed a maintenance check and my vehicle was ready in a few hours. Much less $ than the dealer would have charged too!

This place is awesome. I have a BMW X5. (Got a good deal) These people do not try to take advantage. When I have had the check engine light come on, they've put the computer on it to figure out the problem without ever charging me. I had a timing belt tensioner going bad. They gave me a quote. When I came to pick it up it was a little over $100 less than what the quote was. Good people.

Took my ml63 in for service. Told them to check transfer case as there was a small leak. They have no idea how to check the fluid Daniel lied to me and told me they checked the dipstick there is no dipstick for transfer case . I took it elsewhere and had the fluid changed and it was low. So all in all they never checked the fluid and told me there was no leak it was simply the ac condenser letting some moisture out .then continued on by telling me if I need a second opinion take it to the dealer he does not have the software or tools to do the job. He also stated the transfer case takes gear oil not atf fluid. I m not sure how these guys stay in business. They also charged me the same price for an oil change as the dealer does. All in all you get worse service and less knowledgeable unprofessional people working on your vehicle for the same price as dealer. Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

If you own a Land Rover in Chico, these are the guys to work on your car. In Chico to visit my parents my Range Rover driver door decided to not latch. With my return date looming, I called dealerships in Sac and Rocklin to be told "we're weeks out on appointments;" they wouldn't even take a peek to see what was up. Daniel, on the other hand, told me to bring it in immediately and he'd check it out. Yes he's busy too, probably weeks out on appointments but he took the time to see me and check out the car. And guess what? He fixed it right there on the spot. He restored my faith in humanity and reminded me that small business provide the best customer service. I've been here before so this isn't my first experience with this business. They have always been extremely helpful and although they aren't cheap they end up saving you money by repairing whats actually needed correctly the first time. I'm happy to report that they know what they're doing. I own a Jaguar and when you have mechanics that don't know what they're doing you know right away. I'm happy that they are here in Chico. For those of us who took the plunge and bought a Jaguar, the need for knowledgeable mechanics is important. I've been getting my maintenance performed here for just over a year. So far so good!

Guido's is the kind of place you wish someone had told you about when you first moved to town. Straight forward honest work that leaves you feeling that your money was well spent and your car is ready for more adventures. The other thing I like about them is that they don't mind giving you a recommendation if another mechanic is better for your car.

We just got our car back from Guido's and we are very happy with the service that we received and the speed of the fix! We have been to two other BMW service shops in Chico that left us disheartened and thinking we were going to have to start driving back to our mechanic in Sacramento. We tried Guidos' as a last ditch effort and it paid off!!! Thanks so much Daniel for the great service-the price was more than fair and the car came home cleaner than when I dropped it off!

Daniel at Guido's has been servicing our vehicles for over a decade. He and his staff are friendly and professional, they have always properly diagnosed issues with our vehicles and completed repairs on time and with very fair pricing considering the exotic vehicles Guido's specializes in.

Charged me over $100 for a diagnostic to tell me what was wrong with my car a year ago and then gave me no answer. So they charged me for absolutely NOTHING. They did however tell me my brakes in the front were really bad and when I took them to a brake shop they told me they were still 85%!! DISHONEST! Also was recently selling my vehicle and they gave out all my personal information to someone thinking about buying it. Stuff from a year ago that had been fixed by a HONEST mechanic. I'm filing a complain with BBB! How dare they!

Very honest ! Very fast services ! Take in our Landrover 10am got it back at 3pm. Free car wash and very clean and all issues bumper to bumper fixed with reasonable price ... Definitely recommend this place!
