I have had nothing but great experiences at Exotic Car audio I have taken my truck and my car for tint and a remote start. Thank you Tucker Alex and Nick for always providing more than a satisfying experience and professionalism. Only thing I would have to complain about is they didn t let me keep their Frenchie Enzo or Zeus the Rottweiler. Thanks again for everything!

Recently, I got my windows tinted and I would 100% go back. The service was immaculate as those who were present were very nice. The work place was professional which made me feel more secure on trusting them. The tint job on the other hand, was the best I ve ever seen. I would definitely be recommending the business and be back in the future! There usually aren t many businesses that help you choose the best option and make sure that s what you imagined, so I am glad to have found one

Had them install alarm and instantly started having battery draining Issues. I went back they said everything checked out and it must be something else draining my battery. No big deal I thought since I was going to replace everything underneath and do a bunch of Offroad fabricating I d just tackle the battery issue down the road. Well after about 9 months I had an electrical fire coming directly from where they tapped into my power door locks (blue wires). I took my truck to an auto electrician to get an diagnostic and it turns out that the Alarm these guys put in was constantly giving power to my unlock wire causing my door actuators to fry over time and almost burn my truck down. $300 for them to install something incorrectly and $1700 of damage they caused to repair melted wires to fuse panel. What gets me most upset is that I initially went back after the alarm install telling them I m getting a draw, and it all could have been avoided. Very Poor service over all not even close, I understand people make mistakes but if you get a customer come back with an issue with install at least figure out the problem and fix your initial mistake. Their rating says it all they used to have over 4 stars couple years ago maybe change if installers idk but until they figure it out I d recommend not taking the chance here.

I dropped my truck off Tuesday night the day before the work was supposed to be done. I picked my vehicle up less than 48 hours of completion and was charged for a storage fee. Also my headlights were left on in their parking lot which killed my brand new yellow top optima battery. The worst part was that it took them 15 minutes to find my key. Highly unrecomended

Repeat customer here! Highly recommended!!!!My wife and I are local business owners that were looking to tint our pickup. After meeting with Alex and Tucker we we re impressed with their knowledge and decided to give them a try. Needless to say they did a fantastic job, so we decided to have them do our other truck as well. They both turned out great! Since then we ve also had them install AMP power steps, bed cover and a camper shell. The work here is top notch with great attitudes. Definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Paid 650 to install a back up camera and connect wires to my light up grill.called me said trucks ready two hrs later got there and all I hear is how they had problems wiring it and oh by the way the back up camera won't work and I should call te ch support. Nothing like feeling screwed when you leave a place that's supposed to fix the problem I should have read the reviews 1st before I ever went there

I have been wanting to get my windows tinted for a while and finally got it done. The guys at Exotic did an outstanding job. I am beyond impressed with their professionalism and work. Even had a last minute request to have my trim blacked out and they took care of it no problem. My car looks great and I am so glad I went in. Alex is awesome and extremely helpful. I cant wait to go back and get some upgrades to my audio system. Cant recommend these guys more.

Merry Christmas to me after a very merry Christmas provided by Alex and crew at Exotic Car Audio & Security! This season I treated myself to a brand new Pioneer head unit after having visited a few times in the past for a variety of vehicle upgrades to include remote start, alarm system and subwoofer purchase and install. Last Christmas I treated my wife to a remote start system for her 2012 Subaru.Every single time Alex has answered my quote requests promptly and had my vehicle in and out within a very short window, usually by mid day, with excellent results that I am still using to this day. In addition, every single time, Alex has listened carefully to my vision and has suggested optional capabilities that I would not have otherwise thought of without the aid of his expertise and many years of experience in this business.My wife loves her remote start and has used it almost every single day during the winter and cold spring mornings and has evangelized it, and the great work done by Exotic Car Audio & Security, to her friends and family.In cases where I had questions or needed someone to look at something and help me with the use of a new product, Alex repeatedly went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of promptly and as completely as his great service allowed.I absolutely recommend Alex and his team of specialists here if you're lucky enough to live in Chico & surrounding areas. He and his staff provide professional service with a friendly demeanor that makes you feel comfortable in cases where many of us know very little.

You never really know the level of service or the measure of someone's character until the chips are down. I had a unique experience with this shop. During installation my window was accidently broken. Alex and his team took complete responsibility for the damage. They arranged and paid for the repair. Alex was a consummate gentleman during the whole transaction. They do great work and they will take care of their clients even in difficult situations. Character defined! I highly recommend this shop.

I was having issues with my aftermarket radio (i.e. it was dead) so I called up Exotic Car and told them what was going on. They were able to fit me in for a same day appointment and were able to replace my radio at a very reasonable cost. They were super friendly, had a nice waiting facility, and they were able to replace my radio on the spot - saving me a second trip.I highly recommend these guys for the best car-audio experience in Chico.

Alex is a true professional and easy to work with. I had power steps installed on my Tundra, as well as an LED bar and dash cam installed. Because he did such a great job, I brought my Malibu Wakesetter in to get the stereo sorted out. He gave me a number of options to work with, making sure to figure out what would work best for me and my budget. I would recommend his shop to anyone looking at vehicle or boat customization.

I went to get a sub install, decided to get my windows tinted also. They were very professional and did a superb job. To tint windows they removed them, the finish job was awesome no flaws. The stereo in my car now sounds amazing. They took great care of my new 2020 Honda. Thanks guys

I took my car to have a back up camera and new stereo installed. The place was very clean, the price was excellent and the job was completed before they said It would be done. Overall my experience with Exotic Car Audio was A++ Alex walked me through the entire process and even showed me how to use my new Apple play system. Definitely will go back in the future for my audio needs.

Amazing work and outstanding customer service! This shop goes above and beyond expectations! I had my vehicle serviced here by using a warranty that was purchased at the time I purchased my vehicle (2016). The warranty company is extremely difficult to work with, but Alex and his team got the repair approved and completed in a timely manner. I will recommend this shop to everyone I know and continue to have any/all of my vehicles serviced here!

I had a remote start alarm installed in my Ford F-150 by Alex at Exotic, couldn't be happier! Alex had the best quote in Chico, he was friendly and did great work! The install was quick and he was helpful the whole way through. He answered all questions and changed settings to my liking. I'd recommend Exotic car audio to anyone who is looking to support a locally owned business that does amazing work for a great price! A+++!

When my rear window got vandalized and was completely shattered, I immediately called Alex at Exotic Car Audio. He ordered the window for me and had it fixed and ready to pick up after only a few hours even though it was a saturday. The window looked great and he even added tinting to match the back windows perfectly. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their efficiency and quality work. Excellent experience!

give 1 star only because it gives that option. I mean don't get me wrong my system sounds solid and bumps, but I'll explain my bad experience and why the low rating. So first reason why such a low score is first thing they wrote my phone number down wrong. Second they took an extra hour and half because they wrote down the wrong number. Third my dash kit for my Honda Civic si was fine when I brought it in here. They broke it trying to pass the blame off to Best Buy. Best Buy already agreed to fix the damage they caused but there was no damage to the actual dash kit. I feel exotic audio tried to use the information I gave to them as an advantage. I pointed out 2 flaws Best Buy did mess up so they were aware that it was like that before install and that was only concerns on my car. Alex assured me he could do the install. I know for a fact my previous install that the dash kit wasn't broken and was clipped in place and actually installed properly. Exotic audio tried to pass blame onto someone else when I had no problems whatsoever with my dash kit beforehand. It wasn't loose or broken whatsoever. But after taking it to exotic audio for them to do install on my amp and subs which they had to take off dash kit to connect amp and subs. Now suddenly it's broken. Another Funny fact I vacuumed my car before going to exotic audio and after picking up my car from their install I find 3 bolts on the carpet. When I come to pick up my car Alex states "the dash kit was broken beforehand and not properly installed." I had him stating his lie on paper. They have No integrity and they didn't even offer any compensation for messing up phone number even and damaging my dash kit. Messing up phone number understandable but leaving a customers car Mickey moused is not acceptable. You say you have the best techs? I ve never seen anyone who s good at their trade leave damage. I wouldn't trust Alex and his crew for Any future audio work. You can take my $347 that's ok! I can leave honest reviews which go public because you did a shoddy job. Collect my money and can t even put dash kit back together properly! This is my personal experience with Alex s company. Exotic also screwed up my digital temp for my radiator too. It was working just fine, but not after exotic did an install. Like I said before I'd give a lower rating but there's no 0 star option. My advice from a locals perspective. Really do your research before letting some audio place screw up your car and keep a camera rolling inside your car.

Stock stereo in Mercedes stopped working. Prior to meeting with Alex we had an appointment with Mecedes Service Center who gave an astronomical quote to replace the stereo, before even looking at it. Sad and panicked, we called Exotic and spoke to Alex. He fit us in that same day to discuss options. He was very honest about how difficult Mercedes makes it for after market accessories and how he thought we should proceed. We followed his advice, and after a couple issues due to Mercedes, we couldn't be happier.Alex is a rare gem! I have lived in the area for a year and have found it very difficult to work with local businesses. A lot do not return calls and even if they do, they can be rude or not very helpful. Alex and Tucker are the exact opposite. The customer service they provide is amazing. Alex even responded to me while on vacation!!Don't let the business name fool you, they provide many services other than car audio and security so visit their website.I would recommend Exotic Car Audio to everyone who wants to upgrade their vehicle's accessories for safety and security or just style and fun! They are honest, friendly, take pride in their work, and are just good people.Thank you Alex, Tucker, and Jinxy for taking the time to do it right!!

Tucker tinted our G-wagon and Land Rover, the film looks great and the service was better! 10/10 would recommend and we will be coming back for future work!

I have been bringing in my Jeep WJ here for every mod I have done to it. I m far from home so I do not have the tools to do the job myself. Alex and his crew have done an amazing job on every mod. They have installed a 12 subwoofer that sounds freaking amazing. They have installed my LED curved bar. They have installed all speakers on my doors. They have also done my tint job. Their job is all done very professionally. All wires are well tucked and hid inside the Jeep. Nothing is exposed and they have given me warranty on all the jobs they ve done. I will continue my Jeep project with them. I have also recommended a lot of my coworkers who are amazed of how well my Jeep is coming together.

I put a star because a worker left the window up for me. they actually deserve 0 stars because they charged me $ 96 to do NOTHING. I clearly knew that my window needs a new regulator to make it go up and down. They for "checking it" and telling me that it takes repair, they charged me 96 dollars to leave it the same. He told me that the new part costs $ 550 or $ 350 from the dealer, which is an exaggeration. If you want to pay a lot of money come here, if you prefer to save for the same thing, go elsewhere!

Alex at Exotic Car Audio does great work! The kind of guy who; if he didn't think a job would turn out top notch, he'd either let you know in advance, or not take the job. I have an older Toyota Corolla absolutely NOT set up for cruise control, but Alex did an install that looks and works just fine. No jankey stuff comes out of his shop!: Personal respect and pride.

We brought my husbands 2018 Dodge truck in to get LINEX, a whole new lift, and tinted windows. The LINEX job looks amazing around the rocker panels and the bed of the truck looks great as well. The air bags are very helpful for me to get in and out of our lifted truck and of course people love it. Alex and Tucker also give me exceptional service on my 2019 Corvette stingray as well. The window tint they applied keeps all the heat from entering my car!

Trusted Alex and his team to add a subwoofer sytem & alarm system to my 2014 Odyssey Touring Elite. They did an amazing job with top brand products. Alex communicated with me as it progressed making sure everything was installed where I wanted it and done to my satisfaction. Not only did he accomplish this but fined tuned a few details I didn't even realize were critical making the installation perfect. It is the best stereo and alarm system I have ever owned. I had to come back in briefly to have him adjust the programing on my alarm to make it behave how I wanted and decided to let him tint my windows, I am leery of window tinting as I have seen many botched jobs but Alex did a perfect install. Thanks Alex!

I drove the 2 1/2 hours up to Alex's shop based on his photos and the conversation we had over the phone. I wanted something custom and unique that couldn't be bought over the internet. All aspects of the service I received was awesome! From design, follow up calls, emails, pics of the project in progress, and price. All of these elements exceeded my expectations. If you have the idea and the budget, Alex can build it!

I needed an iPod connector installed in my car. I didn't want to get rid of the factory stereo and wasn't sure what options I had. I went to 2 places in town, the second one being Exotic. I was impressed with Alex's willingness to walk me through my options and give me the price for both. He is a genuine, nice guy that didn't pressure me into a decision one way or the other. Once I settled on the way I wanted the install done, he ordered the parts, which got to the shop a day and a half later. The install took 45 minutes, as promised and the stereo/ipod input functions exactly like I hoped it would. Alex was able to put the connector exactly where I had hoped it would go (out of sight in the center console). The price was great, the customer service was great and the work was done quickly and neatly.

I have sent tons of my customers here over the years. I have always received positive feedback.I bought a car stereo system and was amazed at what I had been missing with my stock stereo.Alex tool the time to ask me questions until he understood what I valued in a system. Then proceeded to install a magnificent system.I have never looked back. I'm very pleased with my experience.

Had a blown fuse in my amp and the wiring connecting to it was poorly done by the previous owner. I didn't know what to do with it so I called the guy up and set up an appointment. Took the car in and about 2 hours everything was done and ready to go. Everything was done professionally and I can't complain although the price was a bit pricey. I cringed a little but the good work to my car shows, now I'm blasting away them bass.

The staff was very patient with my 16 year old and described everything in "real people words" for updating her sound system in her car. We took her 2001 cabriolet in for an upgrade to Bluetooth for safety and replaced the speakers as well. We will be going back to update the system in our camper trailer! They were great!
