We had an incredibly great experience at Chico Volkswagen. From our first test drive with Carson, and then working with Nathan to get our financing in place and then talking with Brandon about the features of the car we were looking at. The staff there are all friendly, knowledgeable but most of all no pressure to make the purchase. We were really sold on the car and the dealership from the first time we walked in. Nathan was very patient with us during all the phone calls and questions. He was able to get us the financing when other dealerships couldn t or wouldn t. We can t recommend Chico Volkswagen and their incredible staff enough. Thank you Carson, Nathan and Brandon the best experience buying a new car.

Pricey car maintenance but seems to be well worth it. Have used their services for about a year now with no issues. Clean waiting area with three comfy black couches to sit and wait. I took a bit of a nap on one of them while waiting for my car. Personnel are courteous and respectful. Will keep coming back.

Terrible!!! Customer service is non existent. They use a third party sales assistant who was incredibly rude. She hung up on me the did not answer when I called back her number. So I called dealership office number and fortunately the GM answered. If not she would have kept deflecting my calls. The GM was nice but, did not seem to care about what happened saying she didn t mean to hang up on me. He sent me a couple of car options through email but did not follow up after I said I was interested.The overall experience from him was since I wasn t spending $20,000 or more or cash I was a small fish and not worth the time. And from the sales assistant my experience was they didn t need the business well if you keep that up they may find themselves needing more business .. very disappointing after being recommended so highly by a satisfied customer and reading good reviews.Beware!

Jesse the service writer was great! Welcoming, friendly, informative. He really knows how to talk to customers and relate to them. They got me in for my battery change and out in perfect time before my next appointment. They explained everything to me and Jesse even discussed my recall issue. They sent me a video of the inspection and suggestions for service. I appreciate the cleanliness of the show room and the space available for waiting. The coffee was warm and delicious. The shuttle driver was friendly and kept the area tidy.

My car dealership! I am glad I chose them. Their inventory is fantastic. My buying experience was a win, win for me I got the price wanted with outstanding protections in place. The service department is great. I am very happy I bought my beautiful car there they take real good care of my car.

We had a great buying experience they didn't have the car on the lot we wanted but they got it for us. the sales manager and the owner are the best. They treated us like we were their only Customer. I got a great price on the car and a great interest rate.

Everything was absolutely perfect with communication and texts on vehicle status and performance. I was inform about paying my bill monthly, didn't know at the time of service, so I had to make another trip to take care of my issues with the car, if know I would have said yes to monthly payments instead of making a loan would have taken care of what was needed on the car inspection. Otherwise this place is great!

This place got me financing when no one else would. They treated me the same, buying a cheaper used car as they did the other customers and made this purchase super special l for my daughter and I. I've had the vehicle almost a year and am thinking about upgrading. I called them first!

I love the video/digital/text method for service & repairs, as a way of staying connected with customers. It makes the whole process so much more simple and clear what is needed, what is recommend, what I'm selecting to get worked on, etc.

I was told it was going to take 2-3 hours, it took over 5 1/2 hours and that was only because I said I needed my car back for another appointment. Also, I had asked them to put the windshield wipers on my wife's car since it was raining outside, but they didn't.

I appreciated the loaner car, since I have to drive a far distance to take advantage of Chico VW's service. The service itself was great, the car was left clean, and the friendliness of Steve was very nice. The cost was fair and I will continue to drive the distance to take care of my Passat's needs. It shouldn t take close to 2 hrs for an oil change. The video of problems, which includes a cabin filter and tire issue was sent to the wrong phone number even though I gave my cell number to my service tech. This prevented me from approving other repairs. 3 of the 4 valve stem covers were not screwed on. I could turn each one 3-4 times until seated. I thought the vehicle would also be washed, which it was not. But I could be wrong on this assumption.

Nice guy working the counter but I explained I did not want to pay the labor on the replacement air filter but it was installed anyway and cost me $44 for something that would take me 30 seconds to install

It should not take three hours to change the oil and brake fluid in my car while I wait. After Caleb told me the car would be done in less than two hours, he then called me at an hour and 50 minutes, (I was just around the corner in the waiting area) and said it should be done in about 20 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later i went up to ask how my car was coming he told me that it's been ready for an hour, and he was waiting for me to come pick it up. I was waiting in your area the whole time.This will not be a problem for me in the future as I will be taking my business to my regular mechanic. the only time you will see me i the future will be for warranty work if I can't get it done in Sac.

I actually love Chico Volkswagen! I had been dealing with their service and lots of parts mostly. Willy was great to deal with when my retro 92 Corrado was giving me trouble and again with my Audi. Thanks Willy! They are like family, hmm maybe cause they are owned and operated by a great local Chico family. Hi Amy.. Waylon was great. He stayed late into the night and we found the perfect car.

Car was brought in for an electrical system diagnostic after just having the battery replaced at the dealership in Sacramento. On completion of the the assessment, they confidently recommended and completed an alternator replacement, which did not fix the problem at all. I called in to see if they'd take some responsibility for their work and not only did they say no, the service rep has suddenly moved out of town. Last but not least, they did not honor the military/ veteran discount initially offered for services. $2400 down the tubes. Don't take it here!

The team did an excellent job at taking my car in on short notice. They reached out with status updates and assisted us in any way we needed. They completed the work on my car and did an excellent job. I appreciate them staying late to make sure everything was in great shape, since we had to drive an additional 3 hours home. Overall they were exceptional to work with.

First of all I love my VW Atlas, and also loved the customer service when I bought my car. Hands down the best! I went in for my 6 month detail and leather treatment, that I paid extra for. The outside of my car was washed very nicely. The inside front seat were clean somewhat. The back seats and trunk area were never touch. Still had dirt on the floor from our trip to Tahoe. It was definitely not vacuumed or wiped down. I was so excited to have this service to be so let down. Fingers cross I don't regret paying for the extra service.

Vehicle had malfunctioning component from the get go (lumber support and massage not working on driver seat), therefore it had to go to the service shop, not even a week in my possession...currently waiting for parts...

I have not had a good experience with chico Volkswagen since my first purchase around 2013. From the purchase of my atlas to the servicing almost every visit has been an issue from bait and switch to leaving cap off oil to changing up my scheduled apt to add additional services (for an additional 1 1/2 ) and if I didn t add the additional services that were all included at purchase I have to pay for my original requested items they are no longer covered. Service turn times are here Doud, never less than a 3 hour wait. Currently I have been here an hour most of my service was canceled they are just now installing a light that snaps on to my door. The service representative I dealt with. I would give a 10 but the company and its overall customer service is more painful than it s worth. leaving after and hour in a half and they parked my car in handicapped parking :(

Would not recommend bringing your car here. The service manager Barry will keep you waiting for answers for days without responding. Had an issue with my warranty that Jesse and Barry left me hanging since last week, they were supposed to contact corporate to address my concerns and instead delayed for days without doing anything or responding to me. Apparently it was acceptable that "they couldn't do anything" and when I asked why nobody gave me a prompt response that they weren't able to anything for me Barry said he would "have to look into that". Typical salesman shelving of my concerns and bs for lack of basic performance.

The only reason for rating lower was 2 things- 1. I had to call at nearly 5 pm to see what was going on with my car. I wasn t called after it was looked at. I wasn t told about the two filter changes that they suggested until after I called and had to approve online after 5:30pm. 2. I didn t receive any alerts from my car about being opened until nearly 2pm after dropping it at 9:30am. Why did it take more than 4 hours to even START looking over my car??? Apparently, the check engine light was a a fluke, and hopefully, not something that needed to be looked into more.

Best car-buying experience we've ever had! Bree was amazing. Throughout the process she was responsive and understanding. She answered all our questions and helped us get what we needed. We live 3 hours from Chico and won't hesitate to come back for the friendly service!

They whole staff was friendly. They scheduled my car for a 60K service & a Service Rep. called back to schedule the recall appointment. When my normal service rep saw my car was coming in he called me and ask if they could have the car for a couple more day to do the recall now. I said yes and he set me up with a loaner.
