They truly care about their work and their responsibility to their customers. I ve worked in sales, retail, and healthcare for nearly 20 years. If there s one thing I know, it s how to spot genuine care vs. someone trying to make a quick buck. I know every time I go to Chico Auto Tech I m going to get the best quality work at a fair price.Multiple times I ve brought my family s cars in for emergency repair, and the notify me of some maintenance that needs to be done. One time it was the shocks that were virtually nonexistent. This last time our brake pads were getting low.If they notice something dangerous they re going to let me know for the safety of me and my family. If I need to wait and come back later, there s no pressure, they re happy to provide a quote so I can come back when I m ready.The world needs more businesses like Chico Auto Tech:

I have been going to Chico Auto Tech for years. They are thorough, fair priced, they have sone quality work on every vehicle I have taken to them. They re professional and everyone is super nice. I wouldn t go any where else for my auto repair.

Best mechanics in town, I recommend highly. I would normally just go to whatever mechanic was available or close to my residence, once I started going to Chico Auto Tech I never went anywhere else. They have the knowledge and skill to keep your vehicle up and running, keep it up guys!!!

My husband and I bring our three cars here for routine maintenance and the occasional repairs. Both him and I like the transparency Ryan and Ben give us in regards to what preventative maintenance needs to be addressed, and they do so in a way that does not make us feel needlessly pressured.We've been bringing our cars here for years, and I feel the most comfortable with them when compared to other mechanics in town who have been rude, dishonest, and questionable.

Where do I start? 2018 Audi. Have had multiple accidents and they ve been there to help me each and every time. Whether I m spending a couple hundred or thousand I always get the same treatment. Respect and courtesy. There has not been a time when I haven t gotten my car back exactly how it should ve been returned. Great shop, I ll never go to another one. It s just that simple.

We haven't forgotten you:Do you still remember us?Veronika and Reiner from Germany came to you on April 28, 2016 with our motorhome, a Volkswagen T4, 2.5 liter TDI engine!We needed a new temperature sensor, which we ordered in Germany and you installed it first class into the cooling system when it arrived after three days in Chico. You did a great job!Last but not least, you gave us three liters of original VW coolant, of which we still have some in reserve.For us, Marc and Ben, you are professionals with an unforgettable human touch.Thanx a lot!

Just got our car back and we are more than pleased. These guys were so great with communication and always so friendly, even when I kept bugging them. We had a less-than-ideal situation of hard to find parts and they were with with us every step of the way. They were upfront with pricing and completed the work quickly. We will be back and will definitely recommend them!

These guys know their stuff! Honest and friendly. We broke down on I-5 on a long road trip far from home. They fit us in as quickly as they could. Did an expert repair job. They even called the next day to follow up and see if everything was OK (who does that any more?)! I highly recommend Chico Auto Tech!

Ben, Mark, and Ryan are the best! They take care of all the work on my Audi and are alway honest and upfront about repairs and the best way to go about any expensive repair. Great guys with a great shop doing honest work! Highly recommend especially if you want Audi specialists! 10/10

These guys did my smog and they were amazing! I made an appointment and I was so surprised that my car was ready in 7 minutes. The mechanic also checked my breaks, my tires, and driving belt just to make sure my car was good to go (and nothing was sold to me in that regard). I highly recommend them

Ben and Mark are great. They always take the time to explain the work that needs to be done. The only downside to Chico Auto Tech is their location, but all and all, their service is worth driving a bit out of your way if you need a Volkswagen expert.

I have told these guys time and time again that they are the ONLY place I trust to go to in and get work done on my car. They always go above and beyond to help me and all of their customers out. They will always try their best to give you the best deal and always take the time to explain everything to you step by step so you understand what is going on and why. They even take the time to show you on your car what s going on so you can see and understand it. I have never felt more comfortable leaving my car somewhere before than I have with these guys. I have been going here for years and couldn t imagine going anywhere else. Amazing service from start to finish no matter how big or little the task is.

The guys at Auto Tech always do a great job. They're honest, they do good work in short order, and they'll actually advise against doing something with your truck or car that wouldn't be worth the money. They're the best

Excellent service and great price. Be sure to look for a coupon and you won't be sorry. It's a little bit tucked away ,North of Chico but worth finding. They earned my recommendation by being fast, friendly and well priced. No hidden fees or agenda.

these guys deserve 6 stars !recently the wife and I were in a REAL BAD situation traveling back to north cali from Reno.our car broke down just outside of oroville in the middle of nothing but crops, cows , and circling hawks . we were frantically calling every repair shop we could find trying to get our wheels repaired as soon as possible because we were under a time limit to get back home . everyone we spoke to ..i mean EVERYONE we spoke to said the earliest we could get our car even looked at was a minimum 4 DAYS upon arrival. we were feeling defeated and desperate when a little bit of luck finally smiled at us.at the recommendation of one of the other shops we called chico auto tech as a hail mary moment . not only was the guy who answered the phone friendly and personable but also said we could most likley get the car repaired in a couple days. i have to admit that i was skeptical but we were up against the wall and had nothing to lose . after dropping the car off after hours ( they stayed after closing to wait for us ) they said it should be done at closing the next day .. i really hate to admit i was still skeptical .the next day in the middle of the afternoon we were called with the news the car was repaired at significantly less then the other repair shops quotes . i now feel very stupid for doubting anything they said . they came through like heroes for a couple of down and out desperate out-of-towners.ive had some terrible experiences with mechanics in the past so i consider finding a shop i trust like finding solid gold . so if "gold" is my standard these guys are a "giant chuck of pure platinum floating a diamond cup filled with free beer " .i can not recommend these shop hard enough and only regret i can't clone them and have open a in a shop closer to my area . 5 BIG STARS !!P.s. mark , if your reading this your " worlds handsomest mechanic "T-shirt is in the mail along the cape and red boots i promised you .....okay, i may have lied about the red boots

Not super impressed. Had an inspection done for a potential sale and frankly was shocked to be told that my AC was broken and my compressor was shot (I had used the AC -which was working perfectly-on my way to the shop). When I said that wasn't possible (my car gets regular top-notch care to all Honda guidelines) the mechanic got visibly irritated with me. I grabbed the keys, turned on my vehicle, hit the AC and... viol�...my AC "magically" roared to life. It took me three trysts to get him to even look at it again and he just shrugged and walked back inside obviously frustrated with me. I'm no dummy, and humans make mistakes, but... Now, let me preface this by saying he seems like a nice guy, but I think I'll pass on car care there.

Great service. Got me in same day for a smog. Excellent price and work completed promptly WITHOUT the expected and dreaded upsell. They did the work I requested and had me on the road before I could update facebook.
