We've been going to this auto repair shop for 3 or 4 years. They are skilled, reliable and honest. Their pricing is way better than local dealerships, and some other shops. We completely trust their recommendations and their work.

C&M was awesome! I brought in my very loud Chevy equinox (it had a cracked exhaust manifold). They diagnosed the issue literally within about 5 minutes of my being there and started working on it immediately. They told me right off the bat how much it would cost and when I had questions about why it cost as much as it did, they were very kind, clear and honest about the price breakdown. They also told me it would be done by a certain time the following day and they were so efficient and punctual! It s hard to find an honest mechanic these days at least as a woman in my twenties and I appreciated their transparency and their grace when presented with questions. And to top it all off, they sent a sweet thank you card in the mail! If you re looking for efficient and honest business, this is the place. Thank you C&M staff!

Great communication. Brought my Subaru in for air conditioning repair and they had it fixed and blowing cold within a few hours same day I brought it in (and it didn t break the bank).

when I did get repairs here, I had non stop issues, right after leaving the shop. This shop inspired me to go to automotive school, because I constantly had new issues after leaving this shop. Once got an oil change, not even an hour after leaving had a coil pack needing replace. I got my transmission clutch serviced, before this I had no leaks after leaving. I had a transmission leak. I brought it back, shortly after! Don t worry! It s residual, a few days later my clutch pedal stopped working! Don t worry your clutch pedal needs to be welded. Hmm transmission leak isn t residual as I discovered at school, so I brought the car back, well now it s a input shaft seal but they can t replace it, even though they already dropped my transmission before. I asked them to fill the transmission, they didn t even do that. I had some loud noises on my car, did a diagnostic with a chassis ear, found the noise to be coming from the transmission area, and in front of a teacher and two students showed me how to check my transmission fluid. Turns out it was NEVER FILLED. So I tell you, BEWARE THIS SHOP. they take advantage of your lack of knowledge, and if I wasn t in school I d be coming back for more expensive repairs. If you ve ever come to this shop, I challenge you to think about how often and how much times you ve had to come back. Something fishy here, not sure if shop issue or technician issue. But, the technician working on my vehicle definitely made a mistake. Didn t do. A diligent job, looked at my leaking radiator and called it a hose clamp issue. The hairline crack was clearly visible. I ended up replacing that at school, moral of the story. I ve had NO ISSUES, after repairing my own vehicle. As it should be, and I can say the same for AFFORDABLE AUTOMOTIVE , I recently DID A REAPIR WITH THEM, they did a GREAT JOB. My other car didn t break down after I used and abused it. Best shop experience I've had in years. They got my old truck in ASAP and fixed it quicker than I assumed possible. Their communication is great and everyone was helpful and friendly. Will go back in the future and recommend anyone looking for a mechanic to call C & M!

Been going to C & M since my 1st car. They have always been honest and provided nothing but excellent service. This time took my camaro in for an alignment, valve cover gaskets, idle issue and transmission leak. The car fought but it was definitely worth the wait.Upon geting the car back there was still and issue with the throttle cable. Took the car back without any questions and addressed the issue the next day.Now the car is running like it was new and I cannot be more happy.Just want to thank everyone there at C & M for all the work they did!!To those who read this. So today I went in to pay for the diagnostic testing on our vehicle and they chose not to charge us because it was an easy diagnosis. They could have easily charged us and we would have paid willingly. I appreciate this integrity very much. The woman at the front desk was not only kind, but also informative. She went above and beyond to check into the recalls on our vehicle to see if it could be a contributing factor to the diagnosis. We appreciate you C&M Thanks Terry and Renee!

I have been taking my car to C&M for at least 15 years, and so has everyone in my family. They have always been honest and provided the absolute best care. They have gotten me in on the whim when I was stranded and have saved me from the dealership when they tried to overcharge and misdiagnose my car when I only went in for a recall. I could go on and on about how great they are, thank you C&M for being the best in Chico!

Cannot smog AudiCannot work on AudiLet me start with my immediate observations around the cleanliness of the front area and service area as well as the very nice behavior of the front desk representatives. Promotes some confidence in the work most definitely. Had they have worked on my vehicle, I never got the impression I would leave unsatisfied in which I didn t as I understood why they couldn t preform the work on my vehicle.The vehicle is one of my older vehicles(2007 Audi A4 Quattro) in which has been sitting for a few months. I called initially to schedule time and provide the make of my vehicle and took it in immediately. As the car had been sitting, the monitors weren t ready for smog understandably.After leaving, I was notified by text followed by a call, after confusion on the reasoning, apologizing how they cannot smog my car as it s an Audi and they do not work on Audis.Marketing and service materials do not state this from what I could find. So just making sure new customers with Audis know.

FINALLY a mechanic Chico can trust to be professional, accurate, clean, honest, friendly, and 100% FAIR in their pricing. I have found my "forever" mechanic! (Please don't retire any time soon!!!!!) Plus the ladies in the front office are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. If they don't know something they don't BS. Instead they go and get the facts AND call you back quickly! A+++

I had a situation where my boat trailer had a flat tire right in front of your shop. The front office would not help me at all - not even offering a jack or even removing the tire so I could go get it replaced. I am a campfire victim and I ve been looking for a reliable mechanic close to my house it will certainly not be C&M automotive. Friendliness should be the key when owning and operating a business

They have been a reliable service for both my vehicles for over twenty years. I have always had excellent customer service and never had an unneeded repair or misdiagnosis. I found them after trying a few other places in town and having bad experiences.

Brought my car there with ignition problem, key sticks in the ignition, car ran fine. They broke my key off in the ignition, said they made calls looking for the part. Leaving it up to me now to fix it, they not only didn't fix the car, they made it worse than when I put it there, their attitude was " it happens" that's what they said. I never broke the key, but a machanic managed to, great. Thanks a lot.

Fast, honest company relying on your word of mouth, so they take their work seriously. They've beat Pep Boys on price the last three major repairs I've gotten. Only downside I've come across is their limited 9-5 Monday through Friday hours.

Vehicle was brought in to fix either fuel issue or diagnose electronic issue related to sporadic starting issues..also asked to check on transmission fluid leak near front of car. $440 later...said it never did the starting issue so nothing fixed there. And replaced a transmission plug regarding the leak. Took it home. Was told never put on diagnostic machine because it started every time for them. They had it for 10 days..Very next day vehicle did not start. Had to be pushed out of way. Transmission leak still at front of car near the check fluid spout. Continued starting problem finally fixed after WE found loose wiring from coil to starter!!! $0 fix!!! Also found loose spout at tranny check..just needed a gasket.This was a supposed great place and friend of a friend. Hate to have enemies!!

Been having autos repaired for 55 yrs...Have never had a more seemless service performed...After attempting to find a legitimate Subaru mechanic (3) and being taken to the Cleaners, I, was soooo HAPPY to receive Superior Service at a Realistic Rate....My Baja is running like New, again....Very accommodating, friendly, and Most importantly, Honest....Great lobby to hang out in for an Auto Repair Shop....5 1/2 Stars....C&M has my business now....
