I'm so pleased right now I have to do a review! I called around noon looking for a used tire to replace a damaged one, thinking yeah right I'm never going to find this, and they actually had 2 in stock. I got there about an hour later and the tires were already put aside. They were such a great price, I replaced 2 bad tires. I didn't have to wait, the tire technician jacked my car up and got going, super efficient!! All done in less than 20 minutes- both tires mounted and balanced, all tires- including my donut were aired up to the proper pressure. So stoked. Thank you for great service, I will be back, and I'll tell my friends!

I have attempted to do business with these folks on four different occasions and they have been nothing but rude to me every time. I went in there yesterday, because they don't make appointments, in hopes of getting my winter tires mounted. There's no office, just a side door into their very noisy work area. Someone finally asked "can I help you?" like it was an accusation, & when I said I would like to have some tires mounted he mumbled "it's gonna be a while" & fired his loud machine back up so I couldn't ask, like, "how long is a while? Can I leave you my number? Something?" Then another guy came around a truck he was working on and yelled at me to shut the door.These guys need to get a closer for their door, and maybe some customer service skills. They are not the only game in town & I have received stellar service from the other shop just down the street from them. I recommend you skip Plumas Tire & patronize the folks who care about the community they serve.

Manager is a joke.Tried to sell me a 12 year old tire (illegal to sell from CA/dot regulations) screw still in the tire, alignment wear so one side was bald, for $50 + install, tax, and damn near $10 to throw a tire away!Sounds like a death trap rip off.(speaking from 17 years of experience)No NOT recommend for anything, imagine the up sale for new tires!

Yesterday I got caught in a horrible horrible snow storm in chester California I was frantic and pulled into this shop as I didn't know where to find chains and when I went by Napa no one was there. As I pulled in there was a employee that I literally almost hit with my car ( I'm so sorry) he came to my window and was the kindest man my husband's and I have ever met! Although this shop doesn't sell snow chains or put them on this employee who was on his lunch took his time to explain to me in town where does and also explained to me how to make it through the mountain passes in such a horrible snow storm! I'm forever grateful for this man because I truly believe if he hadn't told me about 4 low I would have never made it home so thank you!!

These guys always take care of me. Good prices on tires and helpful all the time. I run a business that goes through a lot of rubber and these guys beat the internet on tire prices and the rotate and balance for free all the time. They don't make you wait, if you pull up and they are busy, someone will talk to you within minutes and give you a time estimate asap

Took my car in to get tire fixed. I told them it had a nail in it. They said they fixed it. Charged me 25.00 came home it was flat the next day. Took it to someone else to fix. They never fixed it. Still had nail in it. Uggg never go there again.

Had just left Chester when our warning light came in for tire pressure. Quick search led us to Plumas and we turned around. Team checks our tires - no issue - and sent us on our way. Awesome service!

Just had a scheduled appointment for my steering rack to be fixed and was told the part was $289. When I came for my appointment that was scheduled 2 weeks ago I was told the part is now $577 and they messed up on the pricing but I noticed they ordered 2 of the same part for themselves and tried to make me pay for it. I will not go back there again and I suggest you look around anywhere else before going here.

This is the worst tire shop I've ever been too. They are simple just rude people. One has to wonder how they are still in business. I thought to myself as I drove away how much would it cost to start a business like this in the town.

Staying at a rental unit at in East Shore. Drove off the road for about 5 minutes and got a slow leak from a rock in the tire. Took it to Pluma and they were able to fix it within 45 minutes at a very reasonable price. They switched the spare for he repaired tire, checked the pressure on the spare, and even put the spare back under the truck. Great service.

Plumas tire guys were very helpful in dealing with my flat tire issue. They got it fixed and got me back on the road in no time at all. However, it was winter and there isn't a waiting room. So standing outside in the cold sucked.

Wonderful service at this shop. What nice people. Flat repair was 10 minutes and they put back the spare under my truck. Highly recommend. Mike

They told me the stock rims were not safe for the car. Then they said the tires that I brought in would not fit... even though they were the exact same tires that were on it! These guys are lazy idiots. Take the drive to Susanville and save yourself from being exposed to idiocy.

Good place to take a flat or get tires. Fast service. Right at the center of town. Run to the store and done when you come back. Good service when they have a tech.

Gave me a Qoute over the phone fr 4 used Tires for $300.00 I went there n he wanted $350.00 I didn't hv enough money but they had already put the Tires On my vehicle so I got them fr the Quoted Price of $300.
