These guys did a great job at a reasonable price. They were extremely accommodating to all my needs and were very friendly. They even washed my car before I picked it up.

This place is great. I thought I had a trans problem with my Challenger, but I was wrong. The folks there took care of me anyway. If I ever do need trans work, I will definitely be back.

TRC saved my transmission after my Lexus dealership ruined it with an incomplete and careless transmission fluid exchange. TRC allowed me to keep my car (which I love) rather than having to buy a new one. Ron even called the next day after I had picked up my car to ask how it was running. No one has ever done that before. Totally "old school" ethics. Ron also took the time to review and prioritize other recommended repairs for my car. TRC also helped my daughter with her classic 1964 Gran Prix Pontiac. Very high quality work performance. Thank you TRC!

Extremely personable staff. The experience and commitment of the personnel there is very reassuring.Great work for an honest price. You can trust to be taken care of properly. The owner is a very knowledgeable man who treats you honestly and courteously. The owner is seriously dedicated to making his shop one of the best in The Valley not to mention Southern California.

My beloved 99 Toyota Corolla started jumping out of 5th gear. It has 250,000 miles on it. I figured this is going to cost me big money. After getting some estimates- confirming big money! I remembered TRC in Chatsworth. I worked in Chatsworth for many years and would see the race cars painted on the side of the building on my commute. So I took my Corolla in for a estimate. Was quite surprised when Ron knew about Corollas having this issue. We walked out and Ron looked and confirmed that it could be fixed without removing the transmission- just the end cap and he quoted me a price. It was much much lower then what I expected. I picked it up yesterday and it drives wonderfully! Shifts smoothly and is quiet. I m totally satisfied and happy and my wallet is too.Service: Transmission

I took my Ford Explorer in to have the engine and trans mounts replaced. Ron was a great help and very friendly. I needed my car back that evening but, I was not able to authorize the work until mid-afternoon. Ron had no problem with this request and through two of his best guys on the job and got it done by 5 pm, with OEM parts. I first had a local Ford dealer take a look at the problem, but they wanted almost twice the money and would need to keep the car overnight.I also took my car into TRC a year ago when I thought my transmission was going out, but Ron just cleaned up the connectors, and I was good to go. TRC Transmissions does honest, quality work at a very fair price. In my opinion, you can t go wrong with this shop.

I wish all mechanical shops were this easy , honest and reasonably priced when I have work done on my truck. They rebuilt my tranny, added a billet torque converter, and did such a great job at a reasonable price that I took my truck back when the rear main seal needed replacing. I then needed a coolant leak repaired, and they did that for me too. They even reduce the price for the leak repair in half, not because I asked them too, but just because I expressed that I didn't think it was going to cost as much as it did. Ron is honest, easy to understand, and a great person. I'll keep coming back!

Altogether, a Simply Wonderful Experience. The owner, Ron was knowledgeable, accommodating and very reasonably priced. I had a rear axle gear ratio change done, and from start to finish, it was done in a professional, correct manner and more quickly than I had expected. I had previously gotten a quote from Ron for a transmission fluid change with me providing the fluid, filter and gasket ; and was quoted $30 less from Kings Transmission across the street from TRC and having never used Ron's shop, went to Kings for the fluid change. After pulling everything apart and replacing the filter I was told that it took longer than they thought it would and the price would be $20 more than what Ron from TRC had quoted me. Trust TRC, Beware the other. Also, Maria, who works the front desk should be commended for her professionalism, outstanding manners and just because She is so darn cute.

I'm in the automotive business and I wish our service departments were this good. T R C rebuilt the transmission on my daughter's 94 Ford F-150. They were easy to talk to, it was done in exactly the time frame they gave us, the estimate was spot on and the transmission works like brand new. Friendly folks that know their business. I would go back again if the need arises and recommend them to anybody that needs transmission work done on their vehicle.

I have now had TRC Transmission rebuild three of our cars transmissions. Those being a FWD Pontiac, a FWD Honda Accord and now our 4x4 Blazer. Ron the owner and his staff does a great job every time. After another shop had insisted I needed a full rebuild, TRC replaced the sensor I knew I needed and my car was back up and running. Good work and honest.

I came here becouse a friend recommended me here after getting my car back I was looking around my engine they had left screws to support the transmission they were close to falling out I called and someone came down to my house to screw em back now it feels like im driving an old car the transmission just doesn't feel right. I took it back again and and they ran a scanner on it and it had a problem with the transmission some guy told me they'd call me the next day but no call.Wouldn't recommend this place
