I am homeless and I stay in my car. Woke up one morning and my tire was completely flat. I happen to have a wheel lock on my wheels and I couldn't find the key. Having already paid for my tire i was screwed trying to get this tire on. Understanding my plight one of there tire guys I think his name was froggy...jumped on my tire and helped me get it off. Simple tip and they were totally cool with him helping me. Thanks mountain view. You will be seeing me very soon.

HIDDEN FEE TO LOOK OUT FORWent in to replace a Tire. Purchased 2 new tires to keep the car balanced.We all know work orders are important to look over before signing so, at the moment the staff member handed over the sheet we began to scan it searching for the charges.Staff member handed over the sheet requiring signature as he kept his hand over the sheet he applied verbal pressure to sign. The sheet was not a receipt. So the signature was given. After signing, Turns out the receipt was on the back side of the sheet signed. Weird, he had his hand over the sheet we signed. Too late we had already signed. (Enough reason to get Legal)Signed two more sheets then we were out. Upon scanning through the receipt we noticed an additional fee under (MV RDHAZARD COVERAGE) of $26.88 x Tire = $53.76We called back to request more info on this charge. Turns out it's to "cover a flat repair" etc... we decided to keep it. however I think that instead of Insisting the Customer to sign, All Charges shall be explained. We asked if that was "Wavable or if it came with the Tire" employee answered "I think it usually comes with it, customers usually sign for it" not sounding sure about what he was saying didn't even asnwer the question. Then I asked, "ok well it sounds like a good coverage. We'll keep it but if a customer wanted to waive that fee Upon check out can they?" The employee responded "I think so yea" Those responses are Shady, and that's what makes customers not want to come back. It also eliminates potential clients because many people do check reviews before taking service.The staff member DID KNOW if it could or couldn't be waived. Tires totaling $335 shall not be $497 with tax and recycle fee of $12. Unless there's a hidden fee that could be waivable.This is why Big Brands lose to Small Tire Shops. Integrity and Transparency is important. I won't provide names but if the owner is aware of this and in need of money, you may lose more after this review.Eduardo the mechanic is the ONLY reason I give this shop 3 stars. He's great and excellent customer service. I hope he seeks work elsewhere. If it wasnt for him I'd place 1 star.So clients, please look out for these hidden fees. I'm not coming back here again. Integrity and transparency is valuable to me. Sad thing is this shop is less than a mile away and I prefer driving further for better service now. This shop is fairly new too. Off to a bad start.

Great experience buying new tires for my car!Mario was great and incredibly helpful! He knew exactly what size I needed and provided options on tires according to my budget and driving needs. Mario and his staff took care of everything and my car was ready same-day!

It's a very clean location with super friendly staff. They try to get your service done as fast as possible. The only thing that wasn't great was that they charge $165 just to look at your car. Yes it goes towards the repair cost, but if there's nothing wrong then you're out $165... Most mechanics I have been to in my life will diagnose your car for free, or for no more than $50. Just keep this in mind before you take your car here because it's going to cost you way more than other places just to diagnose your problem.

They are a neighborhood business, super trustworthy and professional. My husband and I have been getting tires as well as other repair/maintenance done on our cars for over twenty years. Just last week I blew my tire as I entered a parking lot at a bad angle. Thank goodness Mountain View was right across the street because I had a party to host that afternoon! I limped in there an Mike took care of me immediately...in less than an hour I drove away with a new tire/alignment and great peace of mind! It was an unexpected expense, but I paid with their credit card and have 6 months/no interest to pay it off. Can't say enough good things about these guys!!

I went to this place yesterday to purchase two new tires for my Infiniti QX 50. I was given a price of $1100 for just TWO new tires which is absolutely crazy. The gentleman at the desk showed me the tires on the screen and I saw a price of $250. When I mentioned that to him, he told me that that was HIS price. He definitely inflated the price. Anyway, I went to Valley Discount Tires & More in Canoga Park on Canoga Ave and purchased the exact same tires brand new for $150 each and a free alignment. So instead of getting two new tires I purchased four tires from Valley Discount Tires & More for $650. Save yourself some money and go to Valley Discount Tires

Thank you Shaun,I have been going to this store for over 10 years. I could not imagine going anywhere else. I heard a noise from my brakes starting two weeks ago. Immediately I thought $$$ so I finally went in for the bad news. It turned out to be loose brake hardware so I didn t need brakes after all. Welcome back honesty and integrity it truly is priceless!!

Don't come here, unless you want bent rims and dirty whethered tires So, I went here thinking I was going to get quality service but... I was wrong. I changed my tires and one of my tires was really dirty, it appeared as if they founded off a hill somewhere. That's not how a brand new tire should look like. Also the auto technician bent one of my rims as he put on the so called "new tire". Now I have to buy a new rim plus another tire somewhere else.

They were so nice. It was my first car so I was extra worried about my tire pressure. They provided the best service and made me feel like it was okay to not know so much about tires. They gave me a free tire inspection and even patched up one of my tires for me. Service is excellent. No more pep boys!

This place was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Gerald was amazing with his customer service, expertise, and attitude. He made me feel welcome as well as the mechanic team. Great prices for a one stop shop. Oh, and they also have A/C in the waiting area. Very clean environment. Defiantly would recommend.

The guys did such a great job with my tires!!! I went in about three weeks ago before Christmas to get my tires done due to a domestic violence situation and they were so sweet and supportive! My tires were sliced and I was going through so much at the time and they were so sweet and helped me through everything! They were so professional and helpful! My poor car came in with two slashed tires on the right side and they got my baby up back and running in no time at all! Car drove so smooth and I was so happy! Everything was aligned and beautiful!! I tell all my friends to go because they actually care at Mountain View!!!! I got price matched which was sooooo dope and the gentleman at the front counter was so professional, cool, and amazing! I was tense due to everything I was going through but everyone there was so sweet and reassuring it truly put me at ease! Like I'll be back forsure to get my tires done again and other services for my car! Everybody go to Mountain View, it's hard to find good car service in LA cause everyone is money hungry or sucks at customer service but these guys are dope!

Ruben the store manager has been working on my cars most recently and has done a great job. His staff under him are great workers and keep it strictly professional. Im glad i can confide in people who are not trying to take advantage of me and my cars situation. Art

These guys are the best. Had a flat with a rental car and they hooked it up on the house. Being that finances are extremely tight these days, it was a deeply appreciated gesture. Thank you!

Horrible experience. I made an appointment to get a tire patch. The service cost $25. Which is average. Got to my appointment and waited 2hrs. Come to find out they ran out of patches. You couldn't tell me that earlier before you took off my tire. They said to come back tomorrow and will have patches. I had no choice but to come back. If you are looking to patch your tires. Don't come here. If your store can't manage what supply you have on hand. How can you trust in them to do other services. Will never come here again.

It's not very often that a specific company or store wins my loyalty, but yesterday, MVT did.My initial experience started out a bit rocky, but the store manager Ruben went above and beyond to correct my issues, so any doubts I would have had about coming back in the future were completely eliminated.I had a tire blowout on January 20th, which was a Sunday and they were closed. Since I needed a whole new tire, and the rest of my tires were getting pretty worn, I decided to just replace all 4, and MVT was able to do it immediately the following morning, despite my wheel size being larger than the typical tire. The speediness of the replacements without having to wait for them to order and receive tires made this very enticing.However, here is where my issue was initially rocky. During my blowout, my wheel also cracked along the edge, totally ruining the structural integrity of the wheel, and also removing any possibility of any tire mounted to this wheel holding any air. I, however, didn't realize that until 2 days later after having my tires replaced, when my tire was flat again. I took my wheel off after and noticed the crack, and was initially very disappointed that it was missed, since the crack was right along the outer edge of the wheel, meaning I would have had to bring it to the shop again, and potentially spend even more money.However, this is where Ruben came in and made it right, making me incredibly happy and earning MVT a repeat customer. After noticing this, I called up the shop and explained my situation to Ruben. I had taken it upon myself to buy myself an entire new set of wheels to replace all 4 of the ones I had instead of just the single broken wheel, and I was expecting to have to pay a charge for the other 3 to transfer all the new tires over to the new wheels, as well as a charge for installing new TPMS systems I had bought. But, I didn't have to pay for any of that. Ruben told me to just bring the car in, and they would swap them all over to the new wheels at no charge, something I was not expecting but greatly appreciated as this was quickly becoming an expensive adventure for myself.The techs in the shop are charismatic, funny, and polite. Ruben is friendly, highly professional, and a pleasure to work with.If you were looking around for good shops to bring your car to, I can't deny that Mountain View Tire will make you happy.

Don't know yet! They seem nice but not sure how honest they are when telling you what's wrong with your car or truck. I was quoted one price on the phone and left paying much more! Also I was told it would be one hour and I was there over 2 hour's! For now I'm rating them lower than I would if they would have stuck to the original quote!

I have the same experience as the person complaining about them quoting one price over the phone and charging more when you get there. My advice would be to get an email or a text about the actual cost when they call you, so you have proof of what they quoted. I am only giving 3 stars since they seemed to do a good job, but be careful about how much they charge.

I brought my own Toyo tires that I bought on Walmart here and they put it on for a great price and under 30 minutes. Gerald is super friendly and there to help you. All in all a terrific experience!!!
