Cheapest products available. Wanna pay the highest price for the worst looking products? Go here. I ordered a set of emblems. They were made of plastic. When I removed a protective (clear) sticker from one of them, it revealed even cheaper plastic beneath. I clearly didn't want this garbage on my vehicle. Return policy is a joke. Restocking fees, bloated shipping fee deductions. Take your business elsewhere if you want to avoid frustration. I'm sure someone from their store will respond to this review by blaming the customer... seems like the type of business that would do that.

Awesome customer service and great products!. I love my Korean emblems on my K900. Everybody loves it and always asking what kind of car. The owner of this company is the best ! Man of his word. I will highly recommend and look forward to future business. My emblems arrived in 2 days from West coast to East coast. David responded promptly to a message with personal phone call. Awesome customer service. I wish I could tip him. This company is reliable and quality products, no knock off and fakes.

Best online customer service I've ever received! Shipping was free and very fast, I had my order within two days. I received a note from David thanking me for my order, and then an email when it shipped, went out for delivery, and when the delivery was completed. We will definitely be ordering from K5Optima again!

I've ordered two products from this store; the "K" badging and Turbo badge for my grill. Both items came a lot sooner than I expected-they process their orders and ship them out almost immediately. My only gripe is that I wish they had up to date instructions for installation in the later model cars (2019-plus) since some of the vehicle updates make some of their instructions inapplicable to all models. But otherwise, I'm happy with the products and the speed in which they arrived!

Purchased the performance chip, set to 91 octane, spark plugs (required) and the oil catch can (recommended). Mine is a 2019 2.0 Turbo.Performance as represented, nice increase feels more powerful across the range.Would be a five rating except no housing for the chip included. Had to fabricate and mount myself. Also the YouTube video for installation was for an older model, close but not exact. Luckily my friend is a Mechanic and easily figured it out but not ideal considering the cost of the parts and the job being performed.Device was fun. Delivery a little slow but I am at the other side of the continent.Overall, nice performance parts but be prepared to do some work to install.BTW, I notice that only 5 star ratings are posted on the K5 Performance store internal ratings. I posted the same 4 star rating as here and never made it on. Therefore be careful about those ratings, David only posts ratings that are completely favourable to him.

Did my first order from this shop last week, and I am impressed. It only took 1week from USA to Germany, that's fast and it was free shipping.I got the k3 emblem set in black,for my Ceed gt.They look very nice and exactly as described.I was not sure about the size I need, but a friendly guy called David,helped via email. Only time will show how long they last,but it seems to be good quality.From my experience I can fully recommend this shop.Axel

I bought the Lap3 chip,performance plugs and an ADD W1 oil catch can. My 2015 optima SX turbo really moves now. The ordering process is simple and the shipping is amazing. Maybe 2 or 3 day delivery. All the info you need is on their website and I was able to get a real person on the phone everytime I called. David is the person I spoke to multiple times. He answered all my questions and if I would of looked closely I could of found my answers in the site. Best shopping experience I've had in a while. Will be ordering again for sure.12/21/17Update , had some general questions about my vehicle and performance mods. Purchased an Injen Cold air Intake. Product arrived late ,and damaged. Spoke to a rep and had another unit sent out to me. Delayed shipping again... Only to find out that I am being charged shipping for a second time on the replacement. Tried through email to reconcile, but was told I have to go through Injen,since it was shipped by them but purchased from k5kia.com. Wouldn't recommend this company for anything

I had seen K5 on the Internet for awhile and also book marked it on my iPhone. I finally thought I ll buy something inexpensive . So I bought the BOV for that Sexy sound and a throttle body spacer. This was my first purchase from K5. As soon as I completed checkout, I received an email confirming my purchase and within an hour I received another email saying my order was shipped! I was so impressed on the promptness of the order. Not only that, David, emailed me personally to thank me for my purchase. Could you believe that? An actual person and not a Do not reply to this email. This is not a monitored email . So I purchased more items and the same thing happened again. I received all of my orders within 3 days, including the weekends! Plus it s FREE shippping! And when you call K5, David will return your call if he doesn t answer. His customer service is bar none the best you could receive from an Internet store. Thanks David!

(*Edit: Came through!!! Great job guys!! 5 stars it is!!) So far so good!! I rated it a 4 star because I'm still waiting on a part, however I did receive part of my order and have been very impressed with the personal service I have gotten so far. As I mentioned I haven't gotten my full order, and I received a phone call from the owner himself that it was on backorder. He gave me the option of canceling, or if I waited he would give me a discount for my inconvenience. I'm waiting, and it's partly because I really want the part, but also because I really don't want to deal with someone else. They may not be this hands on and customer friendly. So I'll wait, so far so good, if my part comes in as promised better believe this will be changed to a 5 Star!!! Good work so far K5!!

I've purchased my 50W LED reverse lights, my Carbon Fiber License Plate Frame, a CP-E midpipe (with high flow catalytic converter and resonator), a set of The Retrofit Source RGB Angel Eyes and Demon Eyes (with control modules), a pair of STi-R Clear Lenses, a Throttle Body Spacer, as well as the (now discontinued) 50/50 Switchback Under Eyeline DRLs.My reverse lights are still bright as ever! My license plate frame has held up great in the California heat, the midpipe sounds AMAZING (I have it paired with a Magnaflow Catback exhaust), and the headlight upgrades all look great and function beautifully!I have met the owner, David, on a few occasions and he has always been a very open and well mannered businessman. He takes the time to hear what his customer is asking for and even will put the extra effort in to call back after business hours if youre having a problem. I personally had issues with my car that were COMPLETELY unrelated to his business (a bad ECU from a dealer), and he spent about and hour and half on the phone with me trying his best to help me troubleshoot exactly what was wrong with it since the used car dealer was basically hanging me out to dry as it was something they couldn't diagnose.Admittedly, you can find a few of these products $3-$10 cheaper elsewhere sometimes, but with free US shipping (which 90% of the time will balance out or beat the total cost as most other shippers will charge for shipping), the fact that K5OS warranties every product sold, and the level of customer service I've experienced with my own purchases....i will definitely be making almost all, if not all, my future purchases here for parts for my 2012 Optima SX. Not to mention, any product you see elsewhere, the store can most likely get you the same product/brand for the same price if not cheaper...plus free shipping!Edit: Apologies for the extra long review, I've been buying from this store since the middle of last year but never got around to posting up a review.

Ordered K badges for my 2021 Kia K5 GT. Badges look great, was a very easy install and good quality. This was the only source I could find the badges I wanted. This online and in store shop has a great inventory. My local dealerships (Family Kia in St. Augustine, Fl and SouthSide Kia in Jacksonville, Fl) would not install them for me so beware if you have a K5 they will not install them as most dealerships do not have the badges. That has nothing to do with this retailer but just an FYI. I ordered on 8/8 and received 8/17 pretty average for shipping across the country and good considering we are going through a pandemic. Overall very happy with my purchase and I m sure under normal circumstances the shipping is as fast as it says in other reviews. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

So I'll start by saying that I have owned my optima for 6 months to date. Didn't know a thing about them really, other than I loved the way the car looked and performs. With the help of some guy's on the forums steering me in the direction of K5optimastore to find all my aftermarket parts is when I found the best customer service hands down of any business I have every delt with. I've been modifying cars for 15 years and never found customer service with extremely well packaged products like K5optimastore. If an email was sent to them or a call placed that wasnt answered immediately they have always gotten back to me that day unless I sent an email on a day they were closed.I have never met in person the guy's that run this business, but have had many conversations over the phone and email. They treat everyone the same whether your spending $10 with them that day or $500. Nothing but respect with these guys. I have done more to my car in 5 months time than most do in a year or more and have never had a problem with one of there products or service. They are straight shooters that have great quality products with free fast shipping. Even if you can find the same products somewhere else a few dollars cheaper your not guaranteed the stand up customer service that will go out of there way for you to always fix an issue and make sure your happy. You can't put a price on that! I'm a customer for life with K5optimastore now, they are the best...hands down!

I recently got into buying aftermarket parts for my 2015 Kia Optima. I have asked numerous questions, which might have been annoying but i always got a quick response and a helpful answer. Will definitely buy from them again and recommend to others !

The owner of this company told my mechanic that he knows nothing about cars, told me I don't know what I am talking about. Told me I was being rude after letting him talk my ear off for 15 min about what might be wrong other than the part I ordered. Decided to do some research and found the lap 3 uncle chip I purchased was not manufactured for Kia vehicles. I learned this only after contacting lap 3 directly. Don't buy parts from this company, save your $$$ and find a real mechanic that knows what they are doing. Don't let a website steer your purchase decisions.

Thank you for taking the time to respond promptly to my concerns.I know you are a small business, as I also have a small business. We all work hard for what we have (almost all). My concern wasn't with not being able to get a hold of someone, the concern was lack of notice of delayed shipment due to store renovations. It would have been better to have put notice on your products before the actual closure to prevent issues. You have to remember and you can look through attaching analytics to your shopify store how traffic arrives to you. You will find that a lot of traffic doesn't go directly to your home page. People like myself rarely use social media and don't think it should be a requirement to have to check company pages before ordering. (this is just advice).I would recommend you drop Fedex Smartpost as quickly as you can. What ever money you are saving from using it is not worth it for any sized company as they are one of, if not the worst shipping service in the US.For the record I don't just go and try to wreck business reputations. this was the first 1 star review i have ever left in my life and I have directly worked with customer service for my entire life. But you know what, I wasn't left much option, and it worked.Also for the record I did place the order on 3/16/17 Thursday, not Friday like you indicated. Your automated mailing from shopify indicated this as well as my banking. I know tracking info can take some days to update, so I promptly waited for about 4 days. Still it hadn't been updated so i sent a question to your support line, and waited about 2 days with no response, which led me to call your support number. There i found the it was automated answer service indicating the store was closed through the 27th. Moral of the story, I didn't jump to conclusion on leaving a negative review...the circumstances dictated for it - when really it was a lack of communication and circumstance that led me to be in the wrong, so seriously Drop SmartPost! Anyways thanks for supporting so many of us David and working hard to make information readily available for under supported platforms.

The Risers for a kia optima were a complete mess from the start. Not easy to install without cutting and drilling because it would not line up enough for a direct fit. I had to tap and die twice due to cross threading. The product itself had sharp barbs along the edge that needs to be addressed before someone cuts themselves. When I requested to return I was given directions to contact the manufacturer before returning. A consumer should NEVER have to contact anyone but the store that sold the product. BUT I was told they have over +600 positive reviews... meh whatever

Customer service it top rate!! Some say you can get parts elsewhere, but you can't get the help and support better anywhere. They're not a team looking to take money. The go beyond just selling. For example: I ordered a part and before they boxed and sent out to me, the ran a compatability check. Found out it would not work on my car and refunded my money. As long as I own my KDM I'm a solid customer. THANKS K5 STORE!!!!!

When I first got my 2013 Kia Optima, the first place I had to find was a store that had after market parts, but more importantly had Korean Spec parts. I came from the JDM scene and love getting JDM parts to set my ride apart from the USDM specs. So when I found K5optima store, it was a no brainer. After some research I realized that the store was in the city just over the hill from my Parents house (Simi Valley) and where I grew up. So I hit David up to visit his store while I was in town for work and visiting my parents (I now live in Las Vegas). David was nice and more than welcoming and we set some time for me to visit.Well when I got there I was very impressed with the shop. The store was very clean and not some Micky Mouse shop. I have visited many shops before and most of them are just warehouses with a glass display up front with smalls and everything else had to be ordered or not available. This was not the case here, the shop had all the goodies you see online on display. Head lights, visors, emblems, spoilers etc... He even has a set up, so if you want to see how some new fogs will look or a headlight brightness... he presses a button behind his desk and whola, lights are on and in full display. For a Kia owner it was paradise to be able to see all the parts up front and in person. As for customer service, David was very nice and answered all my annoying questions, and trust me I had a lot. If you ever have the opportunity to check out the shop, please do not hesitate to head out and say hello and maybe pick up a few parts you have been eying. I bought lots of stuff that day and will be posting all my mods in separate threads. I know I have an older Kia, but always helpful for other n00bs like me out there.Thanks David and Im sure I will be stopping by for more purchases in the future...- Pete

always quick shipping and David is the man when it come to anything Optima! Love the selection and have used them for years since i got my 2014 Optima SX Turbo. Just about to order some new center caps with the broke K emblems as my old ones are toast ( they did last almost 4 years however and we have tons of snow up in Canada so 10 out of 10 product )

I ordered the Kinetic Motorsport Exhaust System for my 2.4L Kia Optima and it sounds amazing! David was kind enough to give me a call for the delayed shipment but I still got it right away and took less then 20 mins on a lift to install! Will definitely recommend you guys and do business in the future!

My Optima went from plain Jane to a real head turner with the products offered at K5optimastore. The staff is very helpful, respectful, courteous and eager to answer any question you have about their products.The knowledge they have about their products sold is very refreshing (finally a place that is not afraid to be asked questions)A few items that I was concerned about were put to ease with a quick response from David or his team.Everything I purchased has been installed by myself personally with little to no difficulty. Sometimes by the aid of videos that David provides a link for.I have never had an issue with any product that wasn't resolved without question (happens no matter were you go.)At least David backs his murchandise... how many other companies do these days? Not many.Service is top quality and always a pleasure to talk with. I've purchased multiple items from David and K5OS for my 2013 Optima SXL. Started with a K5 trunk emblem, "Turbo" trunk emblem, and Turbo GDI grille badge. Shipping was fast and they look awesome on the car. Next, I went for the Throttle Body Spacer and BOV sound plate. Again, extremely fast shipping. The sound of the BOV sound plate is pretty sweet. I get compliments all the time. The throttle body spacer helped a little bit with power and MPG. Not a huge difference, but enough to notice. The next thing I went with was the Injen Intake System. The install was surprising easier than I expected, and the sound is crazy. You can really hear the turbo spin up and the growl of the engine; not to mention the HP gains!! Once I did all that, I decided I needed an ADD W1 V2 oil catch can. I wish there was a vehicle specific mounting option, but I got it installed pretty easily and although there are no performance gains for this, I know my engine is now more protected from oil vapors. The last thing I have purchased so far is the LAP3 UNCLE Chip. Now, I didn't purchase it from K5OS, but the person I bought it from did, so this counts towards the K5OS review. That thing is amazing!! 2 minute install and a world of difference!! The throttle response, HP, and torque gains are insane! Don't forget the required spark plugs to go with it.Now, regarding the customer service at K5OS. I originally ordered the Luxury White 3.0 K logo emblems, for the hood and trunk, and installed them flawlessly. After a few weeks, I noticed the logos started turning yellow. I contacted David through Facebook and explained the issue. He immediately acknowledged there was an issue with these, and told me to purchase the white Carbon Fiber K logo emblems, and then return the yellowing emblems, and he would reimburse me for all of them. I'm glad it happened, because I like the carbon fiber ones way better!!David and his company know how to treat their customers. He is always available to answer questions, or just chat about anything KDM related.Next up...CANBUS Control Module and Borla Exhaust.Thank you David and K5OS!!!!

Purchased my rear spoiler (with LED light) from the K5 Optima store. item came very quickly and packaged safely. Looks incredible on my K5. Team at K5OS was great communicating with me via email and even offered to talk on the phone if I had additional questions. Highly recommended vendor.

It seems that when you purchase something from here, the owner asks you to write good reviews so the reviews that you see on their website is done because of coercion. Most of the items can be found on eBay at a cheaper price and most of them are garbage. Good luck on getting refunds in a timely manner.
