I've dreamed of having a killer Jeep for over 20 years. When I finally bought my 2-door Tank, I searched for over a year for the best custom rebuild shop in California. My search led me to Dave and his team at DCD Customs. I drove all the way from San Francisco to bring my Jeep to DCD, and it was the best decision I made in the entire process.I came to DCD Customs with some specific ideas of what I wanted. Dave knew exactly what I had in mind, and made suggestions that resulted in a Jeep that surpassed my dreams in both look and performance. Dave gets personally involved in every build, and you will find his attention to detail in every component that goes onto your Jeep. His powder coating is second to none. His welds are flawless. His taste is impeccable. Dave will recommend the best bead lockers, tires, rockers and body armor, lighting, bumpers, and performance components. Trust him. Trust his taste. Most importantly, take his recommendations about the performance upgrades, and you will end up with the Jeep of your dreams too.Dave, thank you again for making this dream Jeep come true. I made a friend for life in this process, and cannot wait to continue building this Tank with you!

If I could give zero Stars I would. This guy Dave at DCD customs is a complete a-hole. Whatever you do, do not take your Jeep there. He will Park it and not put it on a ramp for 5 months, then tell you what's wrong with it and you'll wait another 5 months for him or anyone there to work on it. I don't usually write reviews but in this case I want to warn others Jeep owners. DO NOT TAKE YOUR JEEP TO THIS GUY. I ended up having to have it towed from his shop to another company to fix my jeep 11 months later.

David was great to work with, responsive and very professional. You can tell this is more of a passion for him than a business - and he loves what he does. My jeep came out exactly how I envisioned it and will be back in the future for more mods! Can't recommend David and his shop enough.

Straightforward honest and quick, the team at DCD customs has your best interest in mind. It's been well over 2 months since I've had my death wobble fixed, the Jeep is running better than ever. David really takes the time to explain what you need and why.I will definitely be coming back for future maintenance and mods. I've been recommending them since. Thank you and stay safe

I was happy with the lift/custom rims and tires, but the service is very slow and most importantly they didn't do the custom rim paint job. When I came to pick u my car It wasn't done. They said they said they couldn't do now and bring back in a few months and they had my car for a whole month, then said they sent to 3 paint shops and no one would do it. The real reason is he made the mistake and didn't want to pay for their mistake as we discussed. I found 2 shops the next day. I won't be back!!!!

I just can t say enough good things about DCD Customs! If you want to customize your Jeep or just get an oil change , this is the place to go! The custom work they do is beyond amazing and the owner is such a great guy and always willing to help. I m basically a single mom out here with my daughter and I had a problem once with the lock on the tailgate door where my door actually wouldn t close and my headlights wouldn t turn on! This is my only means of transportation and how was I supposed to drive around when the tailgate wouldn t close and I had no headlights!!! I called DCD customs and he actually told me to come right in.... he stayed later for me and fixed it! Tailgate works great and these are the best headlights ever! Seriously.... the best headlights! I suggest everyone that owns a Jeep go get your factory headlights swapped out for these custom headlights cuz they are awesome! Anyway, The owner went above and beyond for me and I wasn t even a customer of his yet! It s hard to find that kind of kindness nowadays! I am so very thankful to him and very appreciative of the great work he and his team do!THANK YOU!

Great employees, Dan, the big dude with the beard is super friendly and cool, he is very nice. Danny was also really nice as well, he is the mechanic who worked on my car. Just make sure to ask for part numbers first, and make sure you call yourself to price it out. I was up-charged on a few parts, which I know is legal, but when a part is $126 and they charge you $200 that's a 37% upcharge. $200-126 difference is $74 then divide by $200 = 37%. Do i care about $74? NOT AT ALL, it's the principal. That's pretty steep, being a business owner myself, there are legal retail margins set in place which you can upcharge from cost (the shops actual cost, not consumer retail cost), which obviously they get wholesale pricing, so the math is based on the cost that was i charged as a consumer, compared to the cost if you were to get the part at the dealer, $126, yes the actual dealer. Also for re-programming which takes like 15 minutes you will get charged 1 hour labor. I still give 5 stars, but make sure you do your due diligence, to make sure you don't get priced gouged TOO much, a little is expected. Overall solid guys, do good work, and has warranty which is nice. I would recommend to come here for sure, just be aware

This custom jeep shop near Los Angeles is amazing. It's definitely the most high end Jeep customs shop I've ever been too. I just got an amazing lift kid and suspension installed on my wrangler and I love it. I noticed they're doing v8 engine swaps here so I can't come back to swap my engine too! I'll see you guys soon.

These guys rock.I brought in my new 2020 JLU Rubicon that the dealership had done some work on.Dealer Services International, in conjunction with LADJCR, had installed a Teraflex CT3 Alpine lift, and were supposed to install my new Rock Slide Engineering sliders.When I got the Jeep back from the dealership (actually 4 Wheel Parts in West Covina, as that s where the dealer sent my Jeep for the work), the Jeep rode terribly and I got the dreaded death wobble over 60 on the highway. Moreover, 4 Wheel Parts called me to tell me that they couldn t install the rock sliders... even though I paid for everything upfront...Huh...So instead of calling the dealer to complain only to have subpar work done again, I called Dave at DCD Customs and from the moment I called, I knew that I had found the right place.I worked with Dan to set up my appointment, which was just 2 days after I called, and when I got there this morning they didn t waste a second and jumped right on my Jeep.Even though I went to them initially for just the step install, I asked if they could take a look at the issue with the lift and the ride.These guys worked all day to not only install my sliders, but they also pulled apart the entire front suspension, found the issue (4 wheel parts had installed one spring incorrectly and it was binding on the bump stop), and reinstalled it all the way it should have been done initially.They also did another alignment and let me say, the Jeep rides better than new... and it is new!Dave, Dan and the rest of the guys there are amazing. They are knowledgeable, helpful, passionate about what they do, and it shows 10 fold.I will never take my Jeep anywhere else to have work done.These guys just got themselves another customer for life....Now about that hemi swap.....

Owner charged $5K for the Teraflex 2.5" lift & tires and I immediately pointed out a shudder at 40 MPH. In diagnosing the shudder, they did all kinds of supposed repairs, none of which fixed the issue. Finally, the owner told me it was just because of the lift - and all lifted jeeps have little quirks like that. I immediately took the Jeep to another mechanic who did a wheel balance & alignment. The wheels were *all* wildly out of balance. Also, since he switched my Sahara rims with Rubicon rims, he had added spacers (which I wasn't aware of!). The shudder went away, and I had a beefier steering stabilizer installed. Months later, the shudder came back and still later - came back with a vengeance turning into full-on death wobble status. I took it to a more trusted shop and they asked me who had installed the lift. They asked because the rear coils were reversed (left for right), and the front spring isolators were seated incorrectly. They assumed that perhaps I had installed the lift myself and just got those things a little wrong. Nope. DCD did that. I took it back to DCD almost a 8 months later, and they corrected it on the spot for no charge. It took a few minutes to convince them of the problems, but once they were able to see for themselves the errors that were made, they corrected them within a couple of hours. I raised my review to three stars for this reason.

David (CEO) gave me so much advices for my JK project and sent me the parts in France .This guy know exactly how to make the most efficient Jeep worldwide.Don't look at the other garages, you've just found the best one for sure!Pictures will come soon

called to get a Quote for some RSE Steps installed on a JLU and they are stating that it takes 8 hrs when RSE states 4hrs for install i have installed approx 23 sets on wranglers and gladiators myself and on average ita about an 3-4 hr job they stated they have installed over 50,000 sets of RSE on jeeps which must be a record but it takes them 8 hrs, looks like they are doubling their shop time to make extra money id strongly look elsewhere before taking your vehicle here

This jeep customization shop hooked my jeep up with a V8 swap and a lift kit with new wheels and tires and just totally transformed my jeep. I already went off-roading with it and my custom build came out even crazier than I expected. I love it. Best keep shop in cali. Thanks DCD
