Not sure what's going on, but a lot of their products are no longer being made. I originally started using them because I could not find any aftermarket brakes for my 2019 G20 3 series. They offer drilled and slotted rotors with performance brake pads and they actually did very well out on the track for the price I was pleasantly surprised. Went through them quite quickly but again hard track driving. I expect to replace break's every 3-5,000 miles or so. I then stopped tracking that vehicle and wanted to put some low dust ceramic pads on there. Went to just slotted rotors because I don't need cross drill because you're more likely to crack. Put them on and one of the 4 rotors have the groves facing the wrong direction (drivers rear). I had contacted them and was told the internal veining is the one that matters, but after the first drive I instantly hated them. It had no stopping ability. It was terrible, Almost undrivable. I live with them for about a week thanks to having a short commute and not a busy travel path and told myself that if they did not get better after first canyon run to break them in I would have to go back to OEM. After the first two turns and hard breaks, they stopped almost better than the track pads initially, but they heat soak a lot quicker. I absolutely love them with almost no brake dust which is the main plus. So good! I got them all around for my 2001 Ford expedition. That's where the five stars went away. I wanted to do their big break kit since I was surprised by their price comparing them to arguably better breaks from AP racing, stoptech, wilwood, and brembo for my mini. They weren't the most expensive but they also weren't the cheapest and from what I heard at performance shops build quality on the big brakes are not that good and they should know because they've had more of a product sample pool than I have. So I ended up going with AP racing. Just waiting for those to arrive but then I went on the website and more than half the products are gone and I can't buy directly through them. Not sure what's going on or if they're going to be in business in the future because I cannot get slotted rotors anymore and I have no reason to get drilled and slotted and I like the look of something than just plain rotors. They still have the ceramic pads which are good and I'll probably buy them in the future. But now that that car is established and EBC makes brakes for them as well as hawk and some other brands, I might have to leave r1 for a little bit more money but or more reputable brand. Even though I've had good experience with them, your mileage may vary. I'll keep using them for pads since they're actually really good from my experience, but the rotors I might have to look elsewhereService: Brakes

I drive a Bmw e39, I m not doing anything crazy, just doing normal driving and I do not recommend to buy. I m going back with OE Zimmerman zinc coated rotors and akebono pads. Because I drove these r1 concept drilled and slotted rotors with their ceramic pads for 15k miles and these brakes will not stop squeaking. The rotors are glazed, and when it gets hot out they squeal even louder. It s so annoying, I m going back to OEM. Honestly I thought these brakes looked super cool and was happy to install them, but 15k miles later and I am now regretting that decision. I would not recommend my friend to buy these and I surely won t be buying them again. The squeaking and squealing at any low speed stop just keeps getting worse it s so annoying. Disappointed that these only lasted 15k miles, was expecting 30k plus at minimum and that ain t happening.

I bought a set of front and rear rotors and high performance brake pads from R1 they warp less then 15k can not stand the heat and will glazed easily plus it had a manufacturer defect that will not cover over a year

Just ordered a drilled & slotted pad and rotor kit for my NC Miata. Super happy with both the looks and performance. For being OE spec with no modification needed (plug and play) these were a great performance upgrade. Interested to see the longevity with semi-aggressive street use.

Hot garbage, it might work well for lighter cars but if you drive a European or anything heavy stay away. Rotors could not hold up to stock braking and their brake pads fell apart on their own. There s a reason you can buy these at AutoZone and there s no reviews. Go get DFC or anything that has actual research behind it and quality checks before shipment. I tried swapping pad brands, and I still squealed like a sea lion was dieing at every stop. Changed the rotors and they re perfectly fine. I drive an m550i.

Visited this site a couple weeks ago, and they had a great selection of braking system products for all vehicles. Found a brake package that interested me, so I decided to contact this company about the brake package. Got a speedy response from the sales representative. The representative that emailed me back seem to be knowledgeable and answered all my questions and presented me with a great deal. I haven t ordered yet still thinking about it, but when I decide I will get back. I would recommend this company to browse their website and might find what you are looking for.

Ordered rotors/pads on Amazon 6 months ago and finally got around to installing them. Front rotors/pads were wrong size (my fault as since my V50 is AWD 6sp manual it requires 320mm instead of the 300mm set up) Drove over (they are 8 minutes away) paid the difference and they exchanged them on the spot! Outstanding customer service a round of raises for everyone! Lol!Update 5/10/22: So far these brakes are excellent! I have used other brand ceramic pads/drilled rotors with frustrating results (ei: squealing). These are dead quite and stop on a dime. It s always nice to find a manufacturer that actually produces great products in a working mans budget.

So I was already in contact with Kevin from R1 since last year. I was in the shop for some new rotors and brake's and even a year later, the guy still pulls through. Even with the price of inflation, the deal he provided was still an amazing discount for the parts and the quality of said parts. Kevin is the go to guy when it comes to helping provide you with the parts you need and at a reasonable price. I'd strongly recommend this place! Looking forward to my next purchase of parts if needed be Kevin, thanks again!

Bought these high performance brakes and rotors for my family SUV 2019 highlander. And 6 months later front rotors wrapped. Vibration when stepping on brakes coming down hill. So I was recommended shop by R1 to get it check for warranty replacement. The Firestone technician confirmed that I need to resurface the rotors. And the Pro costumer service from R1 email me that the docs doesn't proof anything. I try to bring the rotor in the warehouse, but they still tell me to go to the recommended shops. What a waste of my money and time!I will not buy R1 products anymore and I do not recommend them.Service: Brakes

I bought slotted rotors and pads in fall 2018. In summer 2019, a huge amount of residuals appeared on my front wheels. I didn't know the reason and was cleaning my wheels till I realized the reason is due to the pads and rotors! Look at the attached advertisement; I don't think this is suitable for daily use while it causes this only a few months after installing them! I contacted them and the replied:Thank you for your message. This is not a defect. The slots are cutting the brake pads. It is to provide more stopping power. You use about 80% of the stopping power in the front. This is normal with a performance applicate. To decrease dust, please purchase OEM blank rotors with very soft brake pads and not a performance set up.I am really disappointed! I would never buy if I knew this!

Worst customer service ever . I placed an order by the phone May 1st , had to call 4 times to have an order update , every single time they told me that there was no program for the rotors I bought but they were "working" on it. 10 days later I cancelled the order and I hope I'll have my money back .Customer service never called me back, never had an update on email, I always had to call them .A pity that a local CA based business don't take care of customers (It was actually my second time buying their products) . This was my last time .

I was skeptical ordering my front rotors since most auto parts stores shows there s two different sizes for my car and they didnt for their brand But thought what the hell for that price. They came within a weeks time but they were the correct size. My rating is based on appearance, fitment, price and easy to order. I ve only driven a few miles on them so far but this is the first time I ve had slotted rotors I can already tell a difference with good quality pads on this time. I ve just ordered the rears now.

Found a listing online for certain rotors they carry, called and made sure its available and correct, after verification I ordered them and than 2 days later I msgd them to make sure its all good and they said it was an error and canceled my order, the senior sales rep was helping me and made no effort to figure out a solution. Since the vehicle was already at the shop awaiting these.don't waste your time and money they upcharge a lot as well. They offered me 2 rotors for over 900$ and said thats with 20% discount, the rotors they offered cost 600 from manufacturer himself.Sales manager name was Carlos.. senior sales with 0 customer service skills...

Bought one of there most expensive breaks and also got some rotors. Yet within a few days one can still hear the nasty loud screech . I just assumed it may be the rears that need changing I end up buying the rear and the screech never stopped . My mechanic checked my brakes and told me that my breaks are more than 50% worn out. How would that be possible if it has only been 3months since install and using the vechile to drive from work and back. Honestly biggest regret ever. Huge waste of money. Don t recommend.Updated called the store and they said they can do nothing about it because the 30 day warranty already passed.

Worst business ever. They advertise a bunch of products on Amazon that they don't have in stock. They mark idems as shipped out even one and they don't have it and they will call you the day that is supposed to be delivered to tell you they can send the cheaper version of what you ordered at no extra cost and late. When I asked for at least priority shipping or to someway make this up to the customer they refused. I run a business and would never treat my customers like this. After researching their products they are complete garbage cans the rotors split.

This is my second set of rotors since the eline series had problems with a lot of noise such as screeching noise insanely annoying so I decided to buy me a second set the Carbon fiber ones and yet still having that noise and now the brakes are squeaking a lot even more annoyed but yet r1 has not tried to fix this issues.I tried emailing them and even calling to speak with a supervisor but yet can never reach one even wen leaving a voice-mail to call me back they never answer or call back...very disappointed.I spent close to $700 in parts and I can say this has been the worse investment I done to my chrysler 300s.

Excellent Equipment, Great communication, integrity and quality! I ordered for the first time with R1 online. I've dealt with lackluster braking and warped rotors on my Nissan Armada for several years. I've tried 6 different brands/combinations but I've finally found the right combination: I do get a little brake dust that requires cleaning the rims every 1.5-2 weeks but that was disclosed on the website and it is well worth the excellent performance! The install was easy, the equipment is extremely well made. Mine were machined after ordering and the shipping was fast. UPS damaged one of the boxes and the response from R1 was fast and professional. Quick replacements were sent and R1 made it right even though it wasn't their fault. Thanks for the integrity and great customer service. I will continue to buy for all of my fleet and recommend. Can't go wrong here.

R1 Concepts has some of the best customer service I have had to deal with in some time. Crazy fast response.(keep in mind any time diff CA to FL in my case) I ordered my second set of brakes from them for the rear of my truck. UPS lost of my one 13 inch drums. I contacted R1 Concepts, couple quick emails back about fourth and I'm on my way. So if your worried that the price is a little higher then some of their competitors or even you local auto store, Its 110% worth it. The quality is excellent shipping is quick and top notch customer service. Plus keep an eye out for discount codes.

Update: R1 Concepts contacted me and I spoke with them regarding the issues I have been having. I am just barely out of warranty but they were kind enough to send out a new set of rotors. They assured me that the rotors I received did not commonly have issues.I was impressed with how the treated me and so I upgraded the review from a 1 star to a 3 star review. I will update again depending on how the new rotors work out.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I am reviewing the pads and rotors. I have had them on for over one year. I purchased the slotted Geomet series because the price was less than half the cost of BMW OEM. They have consistently made rough vibrations and sounds, even after the break in period. They now shake when I am slowing down, especially between 80 and 40 mph. I have never tracked them or stomped on them. They have been used for normal driving and an occasional canyon run with minimal breaking.I have been very unsatisfied with the brake rotors from day one.I mean, they actually look cool and I was excited for them, but I get no performance out of them and they didn't even last a few months.

I personally wouldn t buy anything from them again. I placed a order on 8/17/19 for rotors and pads with gold coating and never received a email or phone call the following days about my order.!So on 8/22/19 i sent a email asking about it and received no useful information just the basic oh we sent this to our shipping department. So i called 15 minutes after and was told there was a red flag on my order because my billing and shipping were different(even though they already took my money). I don t see how that is a issue but it was to them and no one wanted to contact me right way and confirm the information i provided was correct so my order could get here on time. So i told them i put the correct information and they would get started on my order. The fact they didn t even start on my order made me upset but i stayed calm and they told they would send me a order confirmation email in a hour or so. 8/23/19 i wait until about 1-2pm est called them again stating i never got a email from them, they said they would send it again and i didn t receive it to call back. Well i call back later saying i never received it and ask how long it would take for my order to be completed they told me 24-48 hours. So the days 8/24-8/27/19 i never received a email or call about my order so i call on 8/27/19 about my order which i was would take another 24-48 hours to complete and would take 24 hours after that to be shipped then 4-5 days to get here. I asked how much it would cost for them to expedite my order which they said would be $90 and would only be a day faster. This highly unacceptable customer service. I will write another review when i receive my order to see how long it takes for my brakes to arrive.

I am completely so happy with this company. Ordering online is always something I get worried about because companies can be sketchy. Especially when it comes to automobile parts companies. R1 Concepts is such a trustworthy company. I m not only happy with my order that arrived today, but so happy with the customer service that was given after having issues that they quickly resolved. The two guys I spoke to were also super sweet & accommodating. I will be doing business with them again & recommending them to all my family & friends.

I had to call to check the inventory for a specific rotor set for my car and when I called I was able to make my order but never received a confirmation number or email with it. I call a few days later asking about my order information and they were saying they have nothing under my name or even any order status but the money was pulled from my bank. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied to speak to anyone. I called again today and they told me that my card declined but my money was clearly pulled from my bank account. I had to call my bank to get my 600 dollars back and report it as fraud.Service: Brakes

Buyer beware This review is for the off road heavy duty/ tow pads, they work well for street use (city) but once off road they get hot they start sticking and that is an extreme danger , I had no brakeing and I had to find out the hard way. Luckily I did not crash and I was able to coast my truck until it stopped. So do not buy these expecting they work for off roadingService: Brakes

I've been using R1 Concepts for a couple years now and I just had my first issue with UPS telling me they lost my order. I've opened up investigations with UPS and after a month and a half i have still not received my order nor am i getting any updates. Thinking R1 was going to give me the run around too i tried calling to see what they could do for me. I spoke to Carlos and holy hell their customer service is legit A1. Carlos took care of everything in the span of literally a 5 minute call. They're sending me a replacement already. I don't know why i didn't call them first but they definitely have a customer for life. I was definitely shocked at the service i received. Definitely going to recommend you guys for anyone that's looking for brakes. Keep up the great work.

First time purchasing from R1 Concepts and it won't be my last! In addition to their more than fair prices, the quality of the rotors and pads have been nothing short of excellence. The main reason for leaving the review is the customer service has been top notch. Initially I ordered the rotors and pads online. After placing the order I noticed that I had missed out on a coupon, I reached out and without question R1 applied the coupon and credited my account. Once I received the rotors and pads everything was great except I had accidently received two right rear slotted and drilled rotors. When I reached out to R1 they promptly responded requesting some vehicle information. I waited a few weeks as it had skipped my mind and once I replied a few days later I received a package with the correct rotor. No hassle process for an affordable great product... can't ask anything more. Extremely happy with my purchase and plan to purchase again from R1 Concepts!

R1 concepts is a great company. I have been using their products for years. We now sell their brand at my place of business. My sales rep Peace is always good to us. Their prices are very reasonable for a very high quality product.
