Typically, I wouldn't go to a Midas shop for anything but exhaust work, but I was really impressed by how knowledgable and polite/friendly everyone is. I moved here recently from Los Angeles and you just don't get that kind of service there. This is a full service shop, they do a lot more than just exhaust systems. Recently I bought a part for my car that I planned to install myself but then decided it would just make a lot more sense to have someone else do it. They were happy to install the part I supplied and charged me a very fair and reasonable price for the labor. Very trustworthy, I ll definitely be back.

OMG!! Best service at this fine establishment. My sister Guadalupe took in her Chrysler 200 in for service!! James went above and beyond to provide thorough, professional service! His bedside manner is such a delight!! We will be forever grateful! A big shout out to Blake and Sabrina that were also instrumental in making this experience very special!! Timely, helpful, extremely knowledgeable, friendly. The manager, James, knew so much about my older car, pointed me in the direction of local specialists, and even gave me tips on how to fix it myself. Will be going back for all my car needs and highly recommend this location to anyone else.

I'm new to the town and need some work on my 2010 hyundai sonata. I got amazing customer service from more than just one customer and the manager is very helpful. Thank you Blake and Sabrina for the amazing service.

I d love to give more stars because you guys are nice. But nice doesn t count the fact I went in because my brakes were squealing, you told me they just needed a cleaning, but in fact they needed repair. 2 days after the cleaning, I was back at the shop for them to tell me that whoever cleaned them didn t notice they were actually needing repairs. How does one that works on maintaining cars all day miss that? I was lucky enough to get my $200 towards the cleaning put towards my brake service, but my brakes are still squealing. No one told me of any other issues of the vehicle. It s not worth going back. Thanks guys.

Blake in Midas is a very kind, understanding and helpful person. I was driving from Los Angeles and my engine splash guard came loose. Blake without any problem helped. Everybody in the shop were kind, compassionate, helpful and understanding. Robert and Martin also helped. I think this shop has good understanding team. I was kind of stressed because the car was making noise while driving. It was really pleasure working with this team.

I have to say, I am never disappointed here! I have been here several times for oil changes and other repairs, and they are always straightforward with me and let me know what needs to be fixed and what does not need to be fixed. I had a very positive experience the other day, I got a good deal on an oil change, and some estimates on future repairs. Thank you very much Sabrina and Blake! See you soon!

Hands down the BEST Midas experience in Southern California! Very professional and knowledgeable staff & mechanics.My VW Vanagon broke down near Joshua Tree Ca on a Friday (broken alternator belt). I had AAA tow the vehicle over Friday afternoon. The parts were ordered, and my VW was back on the road early Saturday morning. Great job!

I took my car in for regular maintenance and expected to be there for awhile, these guys were on it!! They are so efficient. Sabrina at the front desk was so sweet and friendly, she kept me updated and explained everything so I understood. I can t rave about this place enough. I ll never go anywhere else.

I brought my car to this Midas location last week 3/27ish mid week probably and had them do a general inspection on my car,After a 1 hour inspection which they did do for free the gentleman came to me and said my car needed about $4,000 worth of work,You can see the quote by Midas attached in this review below in photosSo this was very bad news obviously and I left that day very stressed outI spent the next week talking it over with my family on what we were going to do to fix the car as $4,000 is a lot of money.So the car sat parked until today Today we took it to Palm Springs Auto Repair and Tire and paid for another full inspection,And guess what .they said nothing was wrong with the carBeing in complete disbelief we called Midas and told them the news, they said there has to be a mistakeSo we took the car to Allen Car Company in downtown Palm Springs and paid for yet another inspection and again showed them the Midas print out,And guess what,After another inspection they came and told us absolutely nothing was wrong with the car,This is completely unacceptable by MidasPlease heed this warning and get second opinions when dealing with this location.

BEWARE ..Very nice .. sold me a service that I did not need. Found out later from another shop that Midas' nice service people get commission for up selling.No honesty.If you want to know what is going on with your car do not go here. The free inspection will yield a safety concern. $590 to replace shocks that are fine.I called the complaint line .. in Florida .. and surprise deaf ears.They smile and are courteous and sell you on safety but is all a scam.Snakes. Will never return. Only hope this review help stop another scam, like the one that was done to me.Service: Steering & suspension repair

We did an appointment at 11:30 am was told by phone it will take no more than 2 hours-Well Almost 4 hour past and still waiting to change the brakes on my car.They did not have the parts to replace it or stock of parts for what I did the appointment for.Unbelievable guys!!!Definitely I won t come back.Service: Brakes

I will start by saying the staff here are friendly, professional and knowledgeable and my experience here was excellent.I came in on Monday May 23rd and set up an appointment for the next day to have my AC checked. One side was cold the other was not. I can t remember her name but she was so very nice and very helpful with setting up my appointment. When I came in the next day James was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was pretty sure he knew what was wrong with my AC and had an idea of my problem very quickly. He needed some parts and let me know he could have them ordered and there by the next day. When I arrived the next day the team started on my car immediately. Turned out it was a different issue and they got it fixed for me within a few hours. The team was amazing and James kept me posted on what was happening. Everyone there was nothing short of amazing. Customers for life! We HIGHLY recommend Midas in Cathedral City for car repair and maintenance. We brought our Jeep in a couple weeks ago for a diagnostic test for the check engine light. It was something that needed to be handled by the Jeep dealership which would have been around $1,500-2,000 to fix. However, they had a hunch there was a different issue going on and were able to conduct further testing. Sure enough, they figured out a way to fix it properly for a fraction of the price. We truly felt taken care of. They are a great group of knowledgeable workers at the Cathedral City branch and we'll be going there from now on.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Great service! They checked out my suspension and brakes, fixed a loose bracket for free. Said everything else is good for now.What they didn t know was I had just been somewhere else that said I needed $3000 worth of repairs. So glad I found a trustworthy place for a second opinion! Jason Chandler at the front desk was really great. Just the type of person you would want for customers contact.
