Axel is my hero! I went for 5 months not having a vehicle while it sat at another shop in Palm Springs. After I finally halnt t towed to Elite I had my back in just a lil over a week. Axel took care of everything and made sure that everything on my jeep was running smoothly before I picked it up. Wish I had taken my car to Elite 6 months ago!

I was on my way to AZ when my battery light came on. I went to a AAA shop but they were fully booked. The shop recommended me this place and to my surprised, Axel was very accommodating and was able to fix my alternator and got back on the road in no time. Thank you Axel for the excellent service. Axel and his team of mechanics provided exceptional service in replacement of the turbocharger and catalytic converter. The price was competitive, yet I did save some money. I definitely saved myself any type of meltdown and trust issues on their knowledge about engines. Unlike the dealership off I-10, who put the new engine in it 9 months ago. Again, Axel was informative and honest about all the information given.

My car had an oil leak that took some time to fix. The dealer said it would take several days to repair the problem. Axel diagnosed the problem and fixed it in one day, at a more reasonable price. He was prompt and courteous, and a pleasure to work with. On the side, he gave me a product to clean up a large puddle of oil on my garage floor. I am very unhappy! He had my car for almost 2 weeks. Got my car back with no gas. All my stuff in glove box and middle console were taken out. Had fast food trash in my car. Left my driver and passenger beige seats black with grease. Crumbs in the back floor mats. I 100% think he let someone use my car.

Fast service! My car's smog took less than 20 min to complete. I definitely recommend it to anybody who needs to smog their car. The whole experience was satisfying and quick. Their customer service skills were great.

My initial visit to Elite was 7 years ago. I was on my way to get an oil change there and my car got hit right outside. Axel, out of the kindness of his heart, came out and fixed my bumper so that I could have my husband drive that car home. That was my first impression. Time has passed and I found my way back! Elite will be my go to from now on. His kindred and generosity along with expertise and professionalism will keep me a customer for life. Thanks again Axel.Service: Oil change

Knowledgeable and fast mechanic, went on a Tuesday to see if he could work on my F-150 brakes told me to come Thursday and had them done in the evening , I rate it 3 stars because it is 150 an hour service fee, where a couple other mechanic shops on the same street have a service fee of 110 or 120 per hour. I also had to ask him about any warranties for the brakes and if my brake fluid was good, didn t think he cared for the car probably just cared about the money, very common with mechanics. Don t think I ll be returning due to the price and feeling of a mechanic honestly stealing from me especially in these hard times.

This guys temper is as short as he is. I asked important questions and he said that he didn't have time for it and walked away. I understand he has a business to run but I have questions to ask. I'm so glad I didn't leave my car after reading the low scores/ reviews. Ps someone get this man a step stool and a dictionary.

Great family business, however, since the pandemic his prices have doubled.I have dealt with him for many years and I ve always felt they were fair. On my recent visit, to locate an electrical problem, I was unhappy with the exorbitant charge. Certainly One can expect increases in service costs, but to double it, was totally unreasonable.Axel got back to me immediately and refunded me the whole amount. He truly cared.I would not hesitate to recommend his services.

Very pleasant experience. The owner answered the phone personally when I called to ask if I needed an appointment for a smog check (no appointment necessary). He is very helpful and friendly. I was very nearby after trying two other places that were closed during business hours even though their signs indicated they were open. Anyway, he told me to come right over, and 20 minutes later the smog check was done and filed with the DMV, all for a super low price thanks to a mobile coupon I was able to get on my phone. Clean and comfortable office to wait in, he even let me bring my dog in with me. Convenient, central location. I highly recommend this business.

We have been going since2006.Highly reccommend Axel.AWESOME service.Always have Smog tests done here.2004 6 speed Infinity G35 runs like new, replaced the brakes. Excellent work on our 2007 Avalon and newer Explorer.

He helped me reset my sensors and maintenance indicator on my dashboard in my Mercedes CLA250, since Discount Tire in Yucca Valley couldn t reset it after my oil change. My flat tire signals kept going off and I thought my car was overdue some maintenance, but he assured me it wasn t as bad as I thought. He even filled up my tires and was honest about what I could expect if the signals returned and how he could help. Good service.

Great work, I definitely would recommend. When we were told we needed to leave our car, Axel went above and beyond to make sure my family wasn't left stranded on the holiday weekend. He not only gave us a ride to the car rental company but called us to make sure we got a car and we're ok. He even offered to pick us up again when the rental company didn't have anything. Thankfully our car was finished in just a few days and Axel even called to check on how the car was doing. I definitely will be a return customer.

I went in with a push to start issue and a electrical issue with my tail lights and left two days later with no issues and a happy customer. If you want the best work with excellent customer service go to Elite Auto!! Awesome job guys thanks....

I visited Elite Tire and Automotive for the first time for a smog check for my 2010 Avalon and used their $47.20 coupon. Even though the price had increased, Axel honored the coupon. I was in and out in a few minutes. I hope any future auto repairs are a long way off but when they're needed, I'm heading to Elite. Went in for a smog check, and they finished with my vehicle in under 30 minutes. Axle was super transparent and very kind! He treats his customers right and I can tell he stands behind his work. Highly recommend!

My Husband and I are owners of luxury vehicles. When we get maintenance to your vehicles we usually use the Dealer (Range Rover/BMW) or our trusted Mechanic at Bavarian Auto in Palm Springs.My Husband went to this mechanic because the warranty that he had on his vehicle would only be received by this mechanic.When dropping off the vehicle I personally informed the owner (Axel) that my husband had a warranty on the vehicle.He telephoned us after a few days and said the warranty expired and we would have to pay out of pocket.Now, we have NO PROBLEM in paying for our vehicle to get fixed.But, after the quote of $2500 we were told that he did not TRUST we would pay upon completion and had to pay a $1000 downpayment.I spoke to the owner and asked is that a shop policy and if he had it posted. He said it was not and he did not but he did not TRUST that we would pay and wanted a deposit.I explained to him that how can we TRUST that he will fix it properly if he wanted a $1000 down payment. He began to say how he paid already almost $800 in parts. So, I told him he would get reimbursed upon completion of the vehicle.He said NO. Down payment or he would not fix our car.So .. My Husband and I are African American.Does he not TRUST our money? Or, do I need to be White/Hispanic to be trusted?The owner is Hispanic.

Its a outstanding shop and the owner Axel is very knowledgeable on Automotive and smogs I take all the cars i work on that need smog test I highly recommend him and his shop

I went in for a smog check and the service was great. It was done within 30 minutes. My car had a few simple problems and Axel fixed them free of charge. Great service and would definitely recommend anyone on the desert to come here for a quick and easy smog check service.

80 year old widow with a non working air conditioner, Axel promised I would have my car next day and he called before I expected, to say it was done. He and his wife, Elizabeth, are very friendly and helpful. I will be taking my car to Elite for regular service.

I went into Elite Tire and Automotive for a smog check. My car sadly did not pass the smog check the first time due to not driving it enough. However, Axel informed me that the clutch on my car was burned out and would not last the 40 miles needed in order to pass the smog. He gave me an estimate for the clutch replacement and after speaking with him about fixing the clutch, he told me when to bring it in for repair. I brought it in the next day and within two days my car was ready. Axel told me to drive it around and bring it back for a second smog check. After driving it around I brought it back to Elite Tire and Automotive and within 15 minutes my smog check was ready. I walked into the office where I signed some papers and was told that my smog check had already been sent to the dmv and was ready for my registration. I was given a copy of the smog check for safekeeping as well. Overall a great experience and excellent service.

What an amazing place. I showed up without an appointment to get a check engine light looked at. They diagnosed the issue and repaired it all in a few hours. Now that is AMAZING. Very unprofessional business and Extremely poor customer service. We had an apt at 10 am to get our vehicle looked at the man insisted that we should have someone pick us up and leave the vehicle however we drove from an hour and a half away and that was not possible we were willing to walk around and wait. I told him that this was not possible for us to be picked up and that they should have let us know this over the phone. He proceeded to say that he was going to call for a rental however they will not approve it until it has a diagnostic completed Before. They said the same thing on the phone he than became rude and said that he could no longer do it to go to a Chrysler dealer. I get that we re in a pandemic but if you don t want your customers to wait around don t make apts or inform them that it will take several hours and that leaving it would be the best option. It was just an all around unprofessional business.
