An absolute 5 star experience. While on a vacation in Palm Springs my car wouldn t start. I had it towed to two other repair centers and was told the car would need thousands of dollars and possibly months worth of work. I was so stressed out and decided to search for another option. I was absolutely blessed to find Mike at AAMCO. He put my heart at ease with his patience and dedication to make sure we figured out the issue for me quickly. His customer service was such a relief to know I could trust him and his diagnosis. The guys figured out the issue was only the Starter and were able to have it back to me within a few days. He handled communication with my insurance claim and made this horribly stressful situation into one where I feel like I confidently was taken care. I m so happy with my experience and would highly recommend this shop and Mike. Customer care was fantastic.

5 STAR!!!First off, I would like to personally thank Mike for all his work. I had my 94 Ranger down for months going back n forth with another shop, after multiple failed attempts I parted ways and came into AAMCO.Mike took the time to really dig in and figure out the actual situation of my Trans, turns out other shop completely destroyed the original one.Mike was quick to let me know what repairs needed done. After a few days, shop called and had it ready to go! My truck is back on the road thanks to Mike and everyone over at AAMCO Cat City!

Amco Transmission a very professional mechanic shop to take care of your transmission and any other issues with your vehicle I highly recommend their facility for any automotive need the service is seven stars in my book. The personnel are extremely helpful and efficient nobody playing around in that shop, that shop is a dead serious automotive repair shop that I truly and sincerely highly recommend, if you want to get your car fixed correctly, the first time the mechanics are experts in the field the management is of the highest standards. Don t go to the dealership take it to Amco Cathedral City they can do it all for you.Service: Transmission

Nice clean shop with a friendly business oriented customer service headed by Mike. All the guys including Armando at the shop were amazing and took good care of my car and things as well as took an overall look at the car. I would say this is the most refreshing repair/service I have ever had done by a shop thank you guys

Excellent Service, Exceptional Professionalism!I cannot express the thanks and relief I have for AAMCO s service. Mike, the manager, we liked me and assured me everything would be addressed. Not only did I save a few thousand dollars vs going to the dealer, but I have also renewed my vehicle s life expectancy for servicing/rebuilding the transmission. The whole process took less than a couple weeks and my car no longer has any issues from before, like shifting gears, acceleration, and rough idle. I also came back for a free 10 day follow-up to ensure proper adjustment for after care. I highly encourage everyone who chooses to care for their vehicles to seek service here at AAMCO because this is a long-term investment that will preserve your car s health and life expectancy. Maybe something to consider for those who prefer passing a vehicle down for the family or for extra usage. Either way, I received total service and care for my vehicle and now have a 12 month warranty nationwide at any AAMCO, so I have additional confidence in this service! Oh, and for anyone curious, their customer service is second to none! Friendly and welcoming, they are present a wonderful presence here in the Coachella Valley community. Don t hesitate to give them a call, because they will provide a free diagnostic to examine your vehicle, and from there it s up to what you want to do! We can not say enough great things about Aamco and about Mike who is the Customer Service Manager. They absolutely saved us with our car, when we thought we were going to have to have the whole transmission replaced and we were leaving to go out of town. Not only were they able to identify the root cause of the issue, they were able to get the whole thing expedited and taken care of. They were very honest about the costs and the whole scenario and Mike was absolutely impeccable. Everything got done so fast and we were able to still leave for our trip as planned. I had my transmission rebuilt by this shop earlier this year and it has been working flawlessly. After a few months I noticed a small leak coming out the transmission tail, I spoke to Mike, he said to drop my vehicle off in the morning, I did and his technicians Emilio and Armando had it ready the same day in less than 3 hours. All work was covered by the warranty for my classic truck. I m definitely bringing my next project that I m working on to them for service. Great job guys!

Mannn, aamco did an amazing job on my 2016 Chrysler 300s! They replaced my whole transmission and helped assist with prior job that caused my transmission to go out. Mike and his crew are extremely ethical in their profession and want nothing but the best for their clients. The effort and the professionalism displayed throughout the process with my insurance and the job was amazing and unbelievably reassuring. I highly recommend their service to anyone that needs help. Mike the manager is very great. He provided a great customer experience to me and my family. He was able to get my car running in and out. This place is the best I have ever visit in The Valley. Mike, Emilio, and Armando are the best people I have ever meet. Kudos to this place and its employees. I will definitely recommend this place to family and place. I called Mike Maloney at Aamco in Cathedral City, Ca. at 8 am on Friday March 1, 2024. I thought I had blown my clutch on a Toyota Tundra. Mike said bring truck in and he would try and diagnose it that busy day. Tow truck dropped truck off at 9am that day. By 11 am was told clutch was scortched and needed to be replaced. I gave the go ahead with the price quote and work needed. By 4:45 pm Mike Maloney called me and said truck would be ready by 9 am next day. He was accurate on this statemen,t. He showed me the old useless, damaged clutch They had my truck for 24 hours and Saturday I picked truck up and drove off by 10 am.What a pleasant experience it was dealing with Mike and his diligent mechanic Armando Sanchez. The exceeded all expectations I had on this unexpected breakdown and their speedy solution. Mike Maloney is a class act and has outstanding customer service skills. He made this unpleasant breakdown as easy as it could possibly be. He is efficient, friendly and represents this auto shop with the highest standards. Thank you very much for your courtesy and super quick service during a busy day at your shop !

I had a new transmission put in at the Hemet location I was having issues with the transmission. My man Mike at the Cathedral City location got me back on the road quick. He went above & beyond to make sure I was satisfied. 100% recommend Cathedral City spot. My dad was an Aamco guy & now so am I.

Great service! My transmission had to be rebuilt. Mike worked with the warranty company to expedite the process. I drive for a living, so time was critical. Emilio and Armando got it done! Thanks guys, I will recommend.

I had a CVT transmission that needed to be rebuilt for my 17 Nissan Sentra and Mike helped me to have it fixed up within a week. I m super appreciate of how friendly, quick, reliable, and affordable the service was. - Not many places out here will service especially rebuild Cvts but aamco does it all!

I visited AAMCO - Cathedral City, CA - recently with my 2022 Cadillac XT4. I had a clicking noise at low speeds. I took it to Jessup Cadillac - Cathedral City, CA - and they said it was okay to drive it that way. Then I visited AAMCO and Mike had Armando take a look at it and it turned out there was a loose coupling in my front right axle. Armando tightened it, and the clicking disappeared. Thank you Mike and Armando! You guys are the BEST!

Mike the Manger is fantastic! He is not in the business of ripping you off. He is very honest. My battery died in my car and the transmission light came on. Saying transmission service now. Other places would had told me I needed transmission work of some sort running into the thousands of dollars. He told me all I needed was a reset of the computer. He Diagnosis my car and my final total of my bill was $185.00. My car is running beautifully now. Also his two mechanics Armando and Emilio really know what they are doing. To put it plainly, this has by far been the best experience I ve ever had having my breaks done. When my vehicle started squeaking every time I hit the brakes, I knew it was time to get them done. Like we all do, I put it off for too long, and I could hear & feel them getting worse. Living paycheck to paycheck is hard, & my budget for vehicle maintenance/repairs was small.I finally had a brief break in my busy schedule & just enough $ to start calling around for pricing on having my brake pads and replaced or so I thought. Most were over $200 MORE than my budget would allow. I literally had not one penny more you spend.ALL the places I called (7) were quoting prices that were much more than I could afford, & most were booked days out so couldn t work with my crazy schedule.While taking my daughter to an appointment that morning, I saw AAMCO across the street and decided to make one last call.The manager, Mike, answered, and was friendly and inviting right away. I told him my situation; that I was short on time with a difficult schedule and had a limited budget.Without hesitation, he asked me to come in right away. I gave him my budgetary restrictions, and after quick calculating assured me, he could work with it. Mike s ability to make their schedule fit my immediate needs and confidence that he could accommodate my budget for this necessary service, allowed me to take a deep sigh of relief and relax a little. His calming demeanor and complete honesty about what needed to be done and the total price cost, was refreshing to say the least. He didn t make me feel bad about letting it go too long or try to get me to come up with more money for unnecessary parts. Even after learning I needed new rotors as well (which, honestly, I knew I would in all likelihood need), my service was done without any hiccups. Mike was able to get it all done quickly, efficiently and still UNDER budget!!!So,? THANK YOU Mike and AMMCO!!! You truly saved tI he day and I m forever grateful for it.Service: Brakes

Great customer service, Mike is great to work with, kept me updated on the whole repair. Had a full transmission rebuilt and power steering high pressure house replacement on a 2002 Honda Accord. After the repairs were done the car drives like new again. Thanks Mike for the positive experience!!!

Easily one of the most caring and transparent customer service! If you want to give your car to someone who will not only be honest with you, do good work for you, and understands you as an actually person instead of another sale, bring your car to Mike Maloney. Mike was an absolute dear! I was sold a care from Palm Springs Motors that had a bad transmission. A service worker at the dealership felt bad because he knew I was screwed over by the dealership. They basically stole over 5K from me.He reached out to Mike at AAMCO, and he agreed to waive the diagnostic fee and check the transmission. It turns out the transmission was trash. Mike was very honest, which was very refreshing after dealing with Palm Springs Motors. The cost of repair would cost around 5K. I declined and thanked him for his time. Mike at AAMCO is one of the nicest and most honest repair people I have ever met. Thank you, and God bless!
