I went to have my smog device fixed and signed off on. It was done in a very short time. This Union 76 is just the best. They take care of all my repair needs in a timely and expert way. I've been going to them for about the last 35 years. I can't imagine going any where else due to they've always done such a great job of fixing everything in such an expert and timely manner. I highly recommend them if you need any car repairs. I won't go anywhere else. Thank you Union 76 in Castro Valley.

They set clear expectations and had reasonable rates. They let me know the price to try a repair while acknowledging that their could be other issues. Charged for time worked; not the recommended rate for a job. Good experience. Good people. (-) Took a little long to get to my car back. But worth the wait.

This local family owned/operated business is where you need to go for your car troubles. It's hard these days to know who you can trust to actually do the repairs & not price gouge you to the poor house so get to this 76 station if you need reliable, trust worthy vehicle care. I could get a ride to pick up my car when it was ready ( no I don't use lyft nor Uber!) Anyway they had a driver on duty and he picked me up in my own car! Talk about relieved!!!! Jack (father) & Jay (son) & mechanic team/staff THANK YOU. I'm 2nd generation customer and my daughter is 3rd generation, the years of service are greatly appreciated!

Absolutely wonderful experience, my c car was towed even after their hours were just about to shut they still took me in, and Jack was incredible. He worked with me while he was very personable and he had my tire ready and waiting the next morning I was in and out and had my car before 11:00 a.m. highly recommended wonderful customer service and they have been in Castro Valley for nearly 40 years!

I've gone to many other car shops and was always afraid of being taken advantage of with prices even after the work was done. But the 76 gas station in Castro Valley prove to be a great move in selection. I've passed by there many times and never thought twice about stopping unfortunately. I stopped in today and the service was great and I can tell that they are not thinking about sucking the life out of your pocket, they care their work and about impressing you with their skill and knowledge so to build trust and relationships with the community. I regret waiting this long to use them but I'm happy now to know that I have great mechanics close to home that I can trust.

So glad my sister recommended Castro Valley 76 to me. Jack and Jay are wonderful, honest and knowledgeable. I brought my Lexus in at 10am, Jack diagnosed, ordered parts and installed the parts by 4pm. All at a VERY reasonable price. The peace of mind that comes with knowing I can trust Jack and Jay is priceless! I highly recommend Castro Valley 76.

Jay was referred to me by a friend who has done business with him for years. I was very pleased with the work that was done and his prices were so much more reasonable than the Toyota dealership. Jay and his staff were professional, efficient, have an open line of communication and easy to contact by phone. My PriusV runs excellent. I will always bring my vehicles to Jay.

Brought my car in for the check engine light. They researched and let me know there was nothing wrong with the car other than a dealer required computer update that they were not able to do in house. They printed the reference bulletin and associated service records for me to share with the dealer, and sent me on my way. Overall very professional and friendly experience. I will bring my car back next time it needs service.

Jack and his staff were very courteous, helpful, and professional in dealing with my car repairs. Jack kept me updated every few days on their progress and gave me discounts on parts whenever he was able to do so. Outstanding service. I have been going to them for the past year and a half. Top notch service. Always recommend what's needed and don't force a service that's not needed. On top of outstanding service, the entire staff is friendly and pleasant. Made an appt here early this morning for SMOG. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Fast and convient with appointment. The girl who was at the front desk was also pleasant to talk to! Great smog services and best news was my car passed smog

Pumps are always working, there are several islands of pumps with access in from both roads, air and water work (free when buying gas, just ask attendant to turn it on) and the store is well stocked with a helpful attendant. There is also automotive repair shop (haven't used). Basically everything I typically need at a gas station.

My car (Honda Pilot)radiator was broken, I stuck on the side of freeway.Then I called AAA for help. The representative recommended to Castro valley 76.The owner ( Jack and Jay) take good care of my car and got fixed it the same day. Great job for they team work.About the price, I feel okay. Because it balances out everything. I got my car fixed the same day.I personally recommend this store for anyone.Thank to Jack and Jay again. I really appreciate they works.

I got a flat Sunday, had to go in for my 112hr shift then my coworker and I were trying hard to find a place that sells the specific tires I needed.They got the tires in quick for this being mostly last minute, and got me back on the road with advice on what else I should look into, besides getting the other set of tires replaced.Service: TiresService: Tires
