I think there was my last order here. Until today I have ordered many spare parts and had no problems.I ordered lower control arms for the left and right sides, I open the package and there is a damaged part and after installation on another car. I understand that there are no options for returning this part because they will say that I installed it by myself.

I would not shop here, even for the slight savings. No one to help you if some thing goes wrong. Breaks shipped in different boxes, rear rotors with front pads and vice versa, and one of the two boxes has been on its way with no updates for over a week now and there is not one person even setup to help me at Rock Auto.Shameful. I ll be ordering all my parts from summit racing from now on. They might be a little more but they will actually answer a phone call and help you if there is any issue. I had the same issue with a power stop break parts order from Summit and they sorted it out the same day, not leaving me wait for weeks to see if parts with eventually arrive before their automated system does anything.Buyer beware, could almost report this as a scam they are so under staffed and not setup to help customers.

I have been buying from rockauto for years. Recently I had a brand new defective alternator test bad, never happened before but it was only making 6V, so I sent it back. I had to pay for return shipping using the automated system. I got my refund but not for the shipping. Now I am out my labor for the defective part and return shipping! No way to contact a rep to find a resolution.

I have been dealing with RockAuto for many years. I recently purchased a new fixer upper truck and started buying a lot of parts. One box had the wrong wires, but they were replaced immediately upon dropping off the return package with the free label. Shipping damage, the same. I ordered a wrong part, small shipping fee. No problem. The key here is to know what you are doing and planning ahead.If you don t want to have the package dropped off at your door, you can always just go downtown and pay a lot more. I had to do that with an emergency part. Cost me double.I never have had a situation where RockAuto failed to honor the contract.

I've always received the correct parts that are quality, well built, lower cost and fully working. From an AC compressor, condenser, belts/hoses, alternator, and cooling fan assembly they've been great!

I ordered an AC compressor . Actually I ordered the complete AC system for my truck last October it sat in my living room untill I was well enough to install it which was 2 weeks ago . I was Technician at a Ford dealership. So I take my truck to the shop to have them vacuum the AC system down and recharge the system they did just like I would have done if still working at the dealership both sides are holding equal pressure vacuum it back down run the leak test again compressor is bad but RockAuto won't honor the warranty on the compressor because an AC flush wasn't done I have never done a flush when replacing the whole system . Won't be using RockAuto ever again

Buy a pair of Sachcs Strut Mount for my Camry, and received 1 of them defective, and They just provided me a return windows, no exchange. Also, they want me to pay the return shipping fee. Ridiculous Company

I like rock autos prices. But their customer service is non existent. I can't support a company that charges for "faster shipping" and then say that the shipping is not guaranteed when they clearly state "receive by". Like, how can you have 1 day shipping, and not receive it in 1 business day, and then tell the customer, "it's an estimate". How can I pay $70 to receive my parts on Friday, and then receive them on Monday and have them tell me that there's nothing wrong with that. That's not right. There's a reason why the extra charge is made, and you'd expect that service to be fulfilled. There is no phone customer support, only email, and they provide ZERO customer satisfaction thru email....

This is a capable company that I've dealt with 11 years. For the majority of the time you get the right part as promised.HOWEVER, when you do run into an issue you will jump thru hoops even when the mistake is so clearly their fault. They will absolve themselves and quit responding after typically one message if you figure out how to message them. This is a real problem as with anything there are errors in listings and defective parts. I wouldn't write this if it wasn't for the fact they don't care to correct the listing issues.I bring the wrong part listed issue to their attention and they fail to fix it! The same obviously wrong part continues to be listed and sold. In a way they are tricking the customer by selling the wrong parts then requiring a complex return questionnaire making most give up while they continue to sell the wrong parts. Be aware.

Overall a pretty good experience shopping at RockAuto since 2009. However, I recently had an issue with an order and despite providing screenshots backing up my assertions, Customer Service had no interest in making things right. They weren't interest with the issue I found or my suggestion to correct an inaccurate item on their website. All so they wouldn't have to pay $16 in return shipping. This won't prevent me from shopping with RockAuto but I'll do so with the expectation that Customer Service won't help and will just reply with canned messages. Just know that your only recourse will be the automated options the website offers.5 stars for RockAuto (although their site could use some updating, but prices are the best)-2 stars for poor Customer Service

There is no way to contact anyone at rockauto. There is no email and the phone I found on the website is disconnected.

We ordered a part and they sent the wrong one. They didn t send us return instructions and now they won t refund or pay for postage .when THEY sent the wrong part!! When I inquired, they were SO SO rude. Never deal with this company.
