On behalf of my father...I am very disappointed with the service that I received from kia of Carson. I paid for a tire rotation that was not done. I marked the two front two tires of my vehicle to ensure my tires are rotated, and because of this, I am positive they were not. The passenger seat was reclined back as if someone were relaxed in my vehicle, and when I requested a car wash, I was told, " it wouldn't be suggest because the brushes would scratch my paint." I've gone up the chain of command, and as of yet, no one has made this issue right.

I took my car in for service this morning. Dropped it off at nine, and I was told my car would take 3 to 4 hours. Unfortunately, during this time I got a call that there was an emergency and I had to get my son from school to take him to the emergency room. I called over 30 times in two hours JUST TO CHECK STATUS on my car because I needed to figure out how to handle the predicament I was in. Nobody answered and I got voicemail a crazy amount of times and couldn t reach a human. But, maybe that was a good thing because the customer service woman that answered had ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! She took me explaining that I needed this status as if I was blaming them and she cut me off and had the audacity to say it s not our fault that your son had an emergency ! ALL I WAS ASKING FOR WAS AN UPDATE!!!! And to the mom who can t reach her son because they had her car and they were unwilling to GIVEN AN UPDATE, of course I became irate after her comment! She did hang up on me, probably because she knew she shouldn t have responded as such, because I wasn t even placing blame, but it took over 3 hours to get a response/text from someone else about my car. My son situation was handled otherwise, they still have my car even now, but I m letting it be known because it should be known! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I hope nothing ever happens to her kid and she can t reach them. That s not the time to power trip and leave a mother with the words she used while she is panicking about an emergency. This wasn t a normal situation, clearly, but KIA of Carson sure could have had SOME kind of customer service available in case of emergency to speak with someone at least also. Nobody asked them to rush the vehicle, stop working in the vehicle, NOTHING! That was NEVER the issue it s the KIA being informed of the emergency and disregarding it as nothing and leaving her wondering for 3 hours that s the problem. Then the rude customer service person that disrespected me as a customer, the one that answered the phone?! NEVER EVER will I deal with this place again!

I had a really bad experience so far. I took my car for service for a recall and they had to change the bracket from the rear view camera. when I picked my car up I noticed that the camera was blurry I told Luis villa and he said its fine with out even checking I left that day when driving my car I noticed the camera was really blurry I wasn t able to drive it like that. i went back to the dealer and Alexis Dias helped me she said they will fix it after 2 hours of waiting. I picked up the car and they had put a broken bracket. not only that, they didn t fix the camera from being blurry but they also put a broken bracket. Alexis Dias said everything was fine they couldn t do nothing she said (if you want you can talk to a manager ) when speaking to Ceaser Arzate he compared the camera from another vehicle to my Sorento 2023 and noticed that the camera was blurry he said I had to come back for them to fix the problem I m really disappointed with the customer service that is being offered here. it looks like they don t care about their customers and they don t know what they are doing. I had to tell them what to do I will never come back and do my car service to this dealer if you are planning to buy a vehicle here or do any services ( DO NOT COME ) you will regret it like me.

We needed a car quickly. Called the dealership, Rico answered the call, he said come on down. We arrived and were met quickly and Rico showed us what we wanted. Took the test drive, awesome. Filled out the application, approved quickly! Financing was also easy. Outta there in a couple of hours with our new Kia Forte in Sporty Blue! We felt our experience was more than 5 stars. If you need quick service go to Kia of Carson, ask for Rico, you won t be sorry!!

The staff was very friendly, helpful and understanding. They were very accommodating to my wants and needs. My sales person Sammie was the best. I wouldn t got my car if it wasn t for her. She was honest and up front about everything that was going on. I have recommended them to my neighbors who also want a Telluride.

Customer service people that take calls are cold, emotionless and rude. Service duration was left hugely ambiguous. Had to reach out to them for updates and not the other way around. Convinced that they overbooked appointments and did nothing with the car for 6 hours (and counting).My problem was electrical and should have been diagnosed quickly and a realistic timeframe provided. I was just lied to. I will never bring the car back here and would advise everyone to go elsewhere. I've never had one of their cars, so maybe it's a Kia thing? I don't know. All I know is I have had cars from numerous other companies and their service departments are a million times better than these stiffs. Steer clear.

I tried to negotiate a lease deal on an EV9 with Kia Carson. The salesman, Isaiah Price, quoted me a great price at first. I made an appt the next day and rearranged my work schedule to accommodate the time to finalize the deal. Then, just before my appointment, Isaiah called to tell me the new monthly lease price was $140 higher than what they quoted me 1 day prior. As if he was doing me a favor, he offered to lower the price by $10 per month for a total of $130 per month over the previous deal.

One of the worse customer service I have ever received. They refuse to pick up the phone and they only send text messages. My car has been in their shop for 3 weeks and I haven t heard a thing from a live person. I totally understand that the engine failure is not their fault but have the consideration to call the customer and let them know what going on or pick up the phone. It takes less than 5 minutes. Then Ebony the front desk is very rude and needs to stop answering the phones immediately!!

I went in with full intention of buying the car. but I was told the car I test drove was sold because I refused to pay the markup price. Customer service was bad. From the very beginning, I felt like I wasn't taken seriously because I went by myself. I am surprised reading great reviews from others. I wouldn't even give 1 star. I wish I remembered the names of salesman and his supervisor. Well that's the kind of impact they made. They did not have the car on lot so I had to drive to another lot to check if they had it there. Once we test drove the car back to the showroom, I felt a difference in the way other dealers approached a customer vs here at Kia of Carson. I wasn't asked for my contact details or shown on paper the price of the model I was interested in. I never leave bad reviews, but this one I don't feel like letting go. I hope it reaches management.

I called and got my car in the next day at 7am. Alexis was phenomenal! She kept me updated on my car, didn't try to oversell, and had my car & keys ready to go when I came to get it. As mentioned in other posts, the only shuttle is to the mall, but the waiting area is great and I saw plenty of people with their laptops, etc.

Very friendly and helpful sales team. After tracking down the car I wanted I was able to put a hold on it while it was in transit to Carson. Once the car hit the lot I was contacted and the whole process took less than 2 hours despite some hiccups that were resolved immediately. To my surprise the car had a FULL tank and was washed beautifully. Great customer service.

Buying the car was straight forward. Nothing special. Typical car salesman back and forth drama. Should NOT have gotten the prepaid maintenance package. Oil changes take 4+ hours with no courtesy vehicle. Lots of extra charges they try to upsell you on every time. Maintenance reps don t know the difference or can t explain the difference between oil changes, extras, and required checks to maintain warranty. Friendly people just seems like nothing gets done fast or effectively.I would recommend another Kia dealership and drive a little further out of your way for any maintenance. It ll save you hoursUpdate: after 3:45 I found a Rep that wasn t busy who informed me my car had been done for a while and the other rep, Tony, went to lunch without informing me of the completed service. 3rd time I ve wasted over 3 hours each oil change here.

Had a great experience with my sales person Zammy. She s friendly and we found a car that fit my needs and she listened to what was important to me in a vehicle. She was also helpful in guiding me through the process and I felt reassured throughout. Definitely would recommend. Really really happy with my experience.

Nydia, the service representative, informed us of all the steps that will be taken to make sure my car is up to date. She used my phone number to opt me in to receive text messages and phone calls whenever my vehicle was done getting serviced. She explained each package and how essential each process listed in each package was to the health of my vehicle. She also, provided me with an outline and pictures of recommended areas of my vehicle that I should fix while i was there. I was pleased to have her and supper happy about my car maintenance.Thank you,~ Serita Nunez

I ve had the worst experience purchasing my first vehicle out of the Kia of Carson location , the vehicle the sales man sold me was a 2020 Kia forte in November of 2023 which was $20k after having the car I noticed the vehicle had really bad scratches on the tires , windows , also black scratches on the vehicle doors , The housing of my tail light was cracked in and on top of that not knowing my car insurance would be 695$ a month I ve tried contacting my sales man or the dealership about the vehicle within those 30 days but I ve always gotten the run around , now I am stuck with a vehicle I am not happy with !!! Worst dealership ever please look into the car you are purchasing that was my fault but also on the dealership for even putting that car on the lot in that condition! Which I was not aware of because I purchased my vehicle at night when they were close to closing and needed my new vehicle because I was moving far from Los Angeles !

Dreadful experience at the Kia Carson showroom service department. The staff seemed more interested in ignoring customers than providing any semblance of service. I dropped my car 4 days ago, and I was promised 24 to 48 hours, and it s 4 days, and not a single person called to update me. Communication was nonexistent, and the level of incompetence displayed was astonishing. The overall service left me regretting ever setting foot in that place. Avoid at all costs if you value your time and sanity.

It is 7:07 am on a Saturday morning and I come in for an oil change and my regular service advisor is not here. I was told she was on vacation. So I get Billy Rubio. It is too early in the morning for nasty attitudes. He tells me I'm due for transmission service and I have never had it done before on a 2017 Forte. Because it was too early I wasn't thinking straight...still sleepy. I asked how much is it? He tells me almost $400. I said ok but wait I had it done because me and my service advisor stays on top of what needs to be done on my car. He proceeded to tell me with major stank attitude... I'm only telling you the recommendation for your vehicle. Ok I understand that but the attitude is not needed. I asked what is his name and I'm going to report him. I have the money but yo will not be getting the commission from me Sir. I'll deal with it with my advisor. If you happen to get Billy Rubio at Trophy Kia of Carson....beware he has a stanky attitude and will be upset if you dont take his recommendation.

Took a trip to this Kia dealership to handle a part recall notice I received in the mail. The staff was friendly and attentive to make sure everything was good to go. They even took the time to mount my front license plate holder so I can finally take my plate out of the window. They even provided a vehicle inspection at no additional charge, which was very much appreciated. This will be my go to dealership in LA for all my vehicles needs.

Deceiving sales men, went in to possibly trade in my vehicle. We told our sales men everything upfront all of our negative red flags (so that we wouldn t waste each others time nor hurt my credit again) I have been purchasing Kia vehicles since 2014. Fast forward they start to push my partner to purchase the vehicle and completely dismiss me. They suggested I get my car repoed considering my ex husband had already caused a repo. Immediately no. We wasted 3 hours and a hard credit pull on both me and my partner.We initially went to to get our car serviced and to check our AC condenser. We already New the issue but they wanted to charge us $285 just for them to inspect it when we already New what the problem was. Honestly can t wait until we no longer deal with Kia. I highly suggest making the drive and going to Kia Valley Covina, their sales men and service men are phenomenal they truly care about their customers, it may not be as large as carson but worth it.

DO NOT BUY A CAR!!! Constant services being needed on my car and always breaks down MIND YOU MY MODEL IS FROM 2021 fairly new car still and shouldn t have to be checked out as much but I find myself here every other month. Not that this has to do with Kia of Carson specifically, just kias in general. HOWEVER, every time I try to get a service done for my car, instead of just getting down to the point and fixing the issue, they always try selling me more things for my car. Never have a good experience because they just beat around the bush and try to sell me stuff rather than just fixing whatever is wrong!!!!!! Sometimes I go just for a simple oil change and I m getting phone calls for more additions that I DONT NEEED! this car is awful, getting it fixed is an even worse experience because they never tell me what s wrong they just keep finding ways to upsell things to me.

Zero stars! I will NEVER purchase another Kia, and I will never return to Kia of Carson for service; this experience confirms it. I had a recall service appointment scheduled on 2/13/24. An issue arised about chipping paint, so I contacted Kia Comsumer Affairs right then and there and did exactly what was suggested according to Alexis, my service advisor, and the phone agent.Anyway, what they said did not pan out, so I had to double back to Alexis via phone/text. I called, texted, and left voice messages several times. No response. I had to contact the supervisor, Cesar, two or three times before he called me back. No one is that busy, really!I happened to be sick on 2/23/24 when they finally called back, but I missed both calls. I went on to contact them the following Monday. After calling both of them a couple more times, I realized three to four weeks had passed and after ten phone calls, I was disappointed and gave up!I think it is poor leadership, workmanship, and professionalism. I am appalled not offended.I will take care of my car, however, I needed to share this.Think twice about Kia of Carson, for sure!Just saying. Not good!

I completely lost trust in the service area before when I stated my car problem and they had fixed some random stuff and charged me over $1000 dollars in which they didn t fix the actual problem. I made sure before I leave to ask if this doesn t fix the problem will I be charged again and they said no. My car at the time continued to stop and did not want to move. I went back and they said that they fixed the problem and couldn t help me. I ended going to someone else and the guy immediately understood what I was saying and said it s likely the fuel injector he checked and saw it was worn out and he replaced it for less than $20 and that fixed the problem. I was frustrated at Kia or Carson and decided to never go back. Now, this brings me back to a current event, after being over with all the constant mechanic needs for my Kia I decided to get a new car and of course my idiot self got another Kia (2024)after several warnings from my family and friends to avoid getting another Kia. I thought maybe it s new it won t be a problem. I was completely wrong after a week with less than 300 miles I found myself at the service area because of a low tire pressure which I notice after purchasing the car. The warning light went on and after putting air the tire continues to be low. I did a check and found no nails. Took it to Kia and they found nothing. Went back again after the tire continue to go low then suddenly they found a nail, that I did not see prior (which makes me question them)Not only that they can t patch it and wants me to pay $231 for a replacement tire for a new car I just got. I was so frustrated and I honestly did not believe or trust them at all. I asked my family and relatives some said to sue and the others said their scammers because it can be patched up. I declined the work and my cousin got me set up the same day less than hour and for free. Solved the problemWarranty at Kia or extra insurance is not worth it. If the work is not covered don t get it done at Kia without looking around it s much cheaper, warranty is better and last longer for what ever parts is needed.I wanted to trust the Kia service area even a little even with all the lecture I was getting from everyone around me and again they disappoint me

We moved from out of state and had bought our 2023 Kia in fall of 2022. I had bought some extra service packages from the other Kia dealership that was nationwide. This service department made NO effort either time I brought my 2023 vehicle in for service to look up my packages. Surely they have a number they can call. At least the Nissan dealerships make the effort for their customers. I guess City of Carson Kia gets their money either way but I know one thing, I will not be buying my next Kia from them if this is their customer service response.

I m not really sure how to feel about this purchase. On the 26th of February I would have had the car for 90 days and it s having problems already. It is a CPO (certified pre-owned vehicle). Don t get me wrong, it s a beautiful car, they made the buying process really easy even with my challenged credit, gave me a note I could afford, low mileage for the year of the car, and they were super nice, but in that time I ve had to bring the car back for issues twice. Something is wrong with my seatbelt, I took it in, they had the car for 6 hours, told me what it was and they didn t have what they needed to fix it and they would let me know when. That was January 3rd. They didn t get back to me until February 8th to let me know they would not have the part until February 12th. On February 7th I was there for an oil change and they had none of this info the day before. I let them know that I had to get back to them because at this point it has been a long time and I have to request time off to leave my car for another 5 hour process. By February 16th my car started struggling to start. Even didn t start 3 times and the check engine light came on. They told me it would cost me $150 just to get the code, but if I could produce the code then they could go from there. Obviously that was wrong info because I went and got the code and they still wanted to charge me to give me a code that I have. If what is wrong is not under the warranty then I have to pay $250 for them to diagnose the car. It s time to pay the note and I m scared to drive because the car doesn t start right away and sometimes it doesn t. So I either have to not pay the note to get it diagnosed or pay the note and just let it sit. Idk if this was a good decision or not at this point.Update: Will made sure my car got fixed! Thank you!

Fredy was great! We were greeted right away, and he was able to help us find the exact vehicle we were looking for. He kept us up to date on the delivery of the vehicle. We were excited when he called us to let us know that the vehicle had come in earlier than expected. We were able to complete the purchase in less than 2 hours. Definitely beyond satisfied! The other staff members were friendly and helpful.

They made me a good deal on my car but added gap insurance onto my loan without telling me at a cost of almost $1000. Had I not reviewed my loan documentation I would never had known as they gave me nothing about the insurance, the policy number, etc. It has been a month and I am still waiting to hear if I will actually receive a refund or not. The dealership has told me I will but I have yet to receive confirmation of the refund.
