Rich is a very knowledgeable, no nonsense engine builder and is very upfront about build progress as well as any setbacks and/or issues that may come up. He rebuilt the short block and cylinder head for my 1981 Nissan 280ZX and did a very good job of it.Be patient, he has a lot of customers and a lot of engines he is working on. People with his skill set are getting harder to find.

If you have an engine that needs to be rebuilt, stock or performance, than this is the place to go. Rich was great with his communication, amount of knowledge and suggestions for the type of performance build I was going for. Rich also took the time to keep me informed during this whole process and in the end it was a great experience.

Rich has been so patient and kind to me. My sbc had a factory flaw the kind of problem they has never been seen before. The bore that the rear main seal sits in was factory machined to large causing minimal contact with crankshaft causing a oil leak.that would normally require a new block, Rich had the crankshaft seal journal welded up and reground 25 thousands oversize saveing a number matching 67 camaro 350 engine fixing the problem I am so happy with Rich and Performance Engine doing all this during the Virus and lockdown Rich is the best in the businessWalt

This is the place to go for performance engine work. Rich is the man to go to. Works around your budget. Gives you options to choose from for your build. He is a one mane shop and does it all himself! From short blocks to long blocks. I have had several lengthy phone calls in discussing what I want and what end results I'm looking for.
