The folks at my local Fix Auto in Carlsbad, CA, did an excellent job restoring my 2016 GMC Denali to perfection after the entire steel belted tire tread separated while towing at 60 mph causing damage along the entire passenger side. In 2 weeks they made it look like new and were not only on time but ahead of the promised date! Kudos to all of you!

I recently had a terrible experience at this shop when I brought my Tesla Y in for repairs. To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement. Not only did they fail to fix the issues properly, but they also refused to take responsibility for their mistakes.Firstly, the repairs were not done correctly. I noticed several lingering problems with my Tesla Y even after they claimed to have fixed everything. The issues I initially went in for were still present, and to make matters worse, I discovered new problems that were not there before. It seems like they didn't even bother to thoroughly inspect the vehicle before returning it to me.When I approached them about this, hoping for some accountability, they simply brushed me off and blamed the previous repair shop for the additional damage. It's outrageous that they would pass the buck and refuse to take responsibility for their own incompetence. Instead of owning up to their mistakes and rectifying the situation, they tried to shift the blame elsewhere. This level of unprofessionalism is absolutely unacceptable.I was forced to take my Tesla Y to another shop to fix the new issues caused by this incompetent shop. Not only did I have to pay for their shoddy repairs, but I also had to spend additional money to rectify the damage they caused. It's frustrating and infuriating to think that I trusted them to fix my vehicle, only to end up with more problems and financial burdens.I strongly advise anyone considering this shop for repairs to think twice. They are clearly not capable of performing their job properly and refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. Save yourself the frustration and find a more reliable and accountable repair shop for your Tesla Y.

I used Fix Auto for repair of a hit and run accident because it was on my insurance co's recommended list. I received excellent service from reception, liason with rental car co., to the repair itself. I was kept informed of the progress to completion which was a day early. I would definitely use them again if necessary in the future.

We have used this shop before, but never will again. Took the car in for hit and run repair. When we got it home the light on the radio console was not working. Took it back and they said they did nothing electrical so not their problem. It was working when we took it in we said. They said "how do we know it was not already broken?" In other words we were lying. They were no help at all. Don't plan on having them stand behind their work!

Not impressed by Fix auto Carlsbad management personnel. Was told they (carlsbad) do not work for payment paid by Geico. Ended up using fix auto in oceanside. Feel that oceanside is way better. My car was repaired in 5 days.

Someone hit my car/Tesla while driving on the highway. Geico covered majority of it. (The assailant clipped right side of my car ,thinking he was free to enter left lane, ie I was his blind spot.I chose Fixx auto body In Carlsbad. They were excellent from start to finish. Kevin kept me informed at all times (service manager). He gave me a blueprint of what needed to be done. Constantly communicated through text (per my request of updates, including unforeseen obstacles including Tesla taking 4ever to send parts otherwise work would have been completed in about 8-10days as opposed to almost 3 weeks. They repaired a huge dent in parent right rear door and repaired my steel tire hubs that had been deeply scratched and many other things. Geico would only pay limited portion for damaged tires in affected side. Kevin went out of his way to find the right tires,with balance and rotation at wholesale price (he doesn t even have ability at his job) and he advocated in my behalf. When it was time to pick up my car, my car was shiny new! There were 1-2 tiny scuff marks that I asked them to remove that you could barely see, and they good natured-ly got out their sandpaper disc,thinner and buffer and for 15minutes as I was paying made it BEAUTIFUL. They weren t irritated, or treating me like I was high maintenance (even though I was) and insisted I call if there are any problems going forward or if I notice anything else ..WHI DOES THAT?? This place is a hidden gem that deserves recognition and kudos and I would not hesitate to use again..EVER!Shout out also to Kyle also and the technicians who worked on my car doing an excellent job.Kevin thank you for being the conductor of this amazing band of talented crew you run!From Sonia A

This place is literally the BEST! Will never go anywhere else. From scheduling with Griselda who is so friendly and professional and helped me with scheduling my car for drop off/pick up and the rental car reservation to Alex who kept me informed on my car repair progress to Brian who stayed to help make sure my car was clean and looking WAY BETTER than when I dropped it off. So amazing!! And this is all in addition to the fact that my car, which was hit by someone else, looked brand new after repairs when I picked it up. Could not recommend Fix Auto more! I have used Fix Auto in past and was positive experience would be again be a great one. Fix Auto far exceeded my expectations from initial estimate to daily texts on progress to assisting my transportation to my rental to the end product . My car looks unbelievable & like new after body work, painting and buffing out the paint. They also buffed out my front and rear lights which was not part of repair . I am SO impressed with their work, customer service and highly recommend anyone to use Fix for Auto Body collision repair.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Was rear-ended and Fix Auto was one of the shops recommended by our insurer. It's right next to A1 Auto, our excellent mechanic. The estimate was straightforward, and we scheduled an appointment to get the work done. Kyle did a great job and it was completed on time. I especially appreciated the status update cals I received while the car was being restored; they let me know what was going on and solicited input when there were choices to be made. They also sealed a scratch on one door and left a bottle of touch-up paint in the cup holder, no extra charge. Would 100% go with Fix Auto again.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Carlsbad FIX Auto is hands down a true body shop. They were so flexible with me, and completely honest with every detail of my body work. I felt like I was getting help from a long time friend. Kyle and Griselda were wonderful and transparent with everything. Didn t try to upset me or tack on extra work. My car door looks amazing and like brand new. I think they even detailed my car for me! I came to Fix for a hit and run on my car. Everyone was super friendly and they took care of submitting everything to my insurance and called me whenever there was an update. Very convenient location and they have a partnership with Enterprise to pick you up when you drop off your car and you can leave your rental car there when you pick your car back up. Highly recommend getting your car fixed here and will definitely bring my car back if there is issues in the future. They even gave my car a interior detail before I got it back!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Fix Auto of Carlsbad is a Very Professional run Business that took care of my Wife's Car that was involved in a accident right B4 the Holidays last month. I called around looking for someone to get the Job done right away and they were the perfect fit from Day One starting with the Receptionist who called us back right away and got us in the next Day to get the repairs done. No walk-ins! This business is too busy for old and new customers alike.Management of this business responds immediately to negative customer reviews (they called within minutes of me posting this review) but they do t have enough time to help customers standing in the doorway of their business.This morning, I went into an empty business and found no customers and one estimator on the premises. They turned me away and would not even look at the car without an appointment. Really? I have ALWAYS been able to bring my car here for a walk-in estimate.Dear First Responder Social Media Manager, you want me to call and set an appointment after I drove to your business and you turned me away? After I sent three repairs to you? I think I will write this review instead. I may not be able to get your attention any other way.Mr. Manager, most people do not buy excuses like, "We are too busy making money to help you now." Sorry to inconvenience you Fix Auto, but your new appointment-only policy is not the issue. I get it. You don t turn away a return customer that does not know your new policy. You don t show him the door.You should have taken care of me while I was there. It would have taken less than five minutes. It was just a scratch. Now, you have this bad review to repair instead of my bumper.There are plenty of other excellent auto body shops out there that truly respect your time and money.

I originally selected FIX AUTO CARLSBAD based on the great reviews I seen online and also their ability to schedule me in sooner than other shops in the area. Service was great and I felt Kyle went above and beyond providing me updates and addressing any questions or concerns I had. The repair was done in a very timely manner and completed slightly earlier than expected. Quality of work was good so I was definitely very satisfied. Excellent job!!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Fix Auto went above and beyond! They had great communication, customer service and quick. I had body work done on my car and they had it completed in just two days! They replaced and repainted the bumper and it looks brand new! Not to mention, I rode my bike to pick up the car and they helped me load my bike into the trunk. I brought my car here for some cosmetic repairs front fender got scraped in a parking lot, rear quarter panel got keyed and there was damage on a taillight and rear plastic grille. They had the car looking good as new in four business days and kept me updated on its progress the whole time. The paint match is spot on. Highly recommended!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

From the moment I got in touch with Fix Auto they were friendly, prompt, commutative, and did excellent work! Kevin kept me informed the entire part of the process and made working with insurance so easy! Sharon in the office is a sweetheart & super welcoming! It was only a week from the time I took my car in for an estimate to when the repairs were completed (and would have been sooner but my schedule didn t allow me to take it in for a few days)!
