A bit of a drive from where I live, but totally worth it for the good vibes, and best price within 75 miles (I did my homework and emailed many dealers). I had the pleasure of working with Luis, who was cheerful and seemed just as excited about my new car as I was! He did a great job getting everything done quickly to get us to financing so we wouldn t have to spend too long at the dealership. Excellent service: 10/10!Now for the place itself: it s very clean, with a cool model car inside that has one of those roof tents! We got to climb in and test the tent out! If we have any camping plans in the future we would probably get it. It s very comfortable and surprisingly stable. They also had a cornhole game set up there in case anyone got bored waiting, which is a nice bonus. Oh and a kids station with what looked like an educational show for the kids to watch.Also, Luis followed up after we already bought the car to make sure we were enjoying it. Very nice to know that if we had any questions he could answer them. Some salesmen lose touch as soon as you buy from them, but not here!I would definitely recommend buying a car here. As for service, I will update when I take my car here for servicing.

Subaru of Carlsbad was extremely helpful and amazing to work with. I walked it with what I wanted in mind and a price in mind and walked out with exactly what I wanted and more! If I wasn t moving back east I would come here for every car! Thank you so much for my lovely Subaru Crosstreck.

Uncle Jim and Miguel were amazing! Went in on Saturday 2 hours before closing, no one attended my wife and I out on the lot but when Jim saw we needed help he jumped out of his seat. Long story short, we were in a pinch to get a vehicle. Jim treated my family with the most respect and even got Miguel from Finance to make the deal happen. Finance was super easy and simple. Overall could not recommend these 2 people enough.The horrible part. One of the Sales Manager disrespected us. When Jim asked the Sales Manager to send our information to the bank, he had a horrible attitude and made a disrespectful comment about our credit. This industry is all about customer experience and people tend to forget that. I let Jim know what I heard, he apologized when it wasn't his fault. I stayed since Jim was amazing, he truly saved the deal.

Don t bother dealing with any other dealerships! I came to AutoNation Suburu of Carlsbad after visiting several other dealerships this week and looking at a couple of other cars in mind. I came here because I have friends with Suburus and they absolutely love their cars! Yuri helped me with the test drive and answering all my questions about the car and Terrence helped with bringing my new 2024 Crosstrek home! The dealership is clean and the people are honest and friendly. I m telling my friends and family to come here from now on. Thank you Yuri and Terrence!!!

First time bringing our Subaru to AutoNation Carlsbad. Our service rep. was very polite and cordial and thoughtful, giving us updates as we waited and relaxed by the outdoor tables (pleasant area conducive to allowing us to get some stuff done, etc.). Outstanding service in every way. (I did not feel embarrassed that I did not have time to empty the back seat area of the car of items that had to be dropped off elsewhere-I did apologize for that and adjusted things so seat position could be altered for larger driver than myself.). Aaron (service rep.) was helpful with everything and very considerate. We will return for upcoming services.

Best auto service experience of my life! Aaron was friendly, thorough, and attentive to what I had to say. I didn't expect the Lyft service to and from home while the car was in the shop but was delighted! I had never before been offered video evidence and narration of problems and options - gamechanger! And if that weren't enough, Aaron found that I had a still active warranty that would help cut the cost. Absolutely first rate, red carpet service. Five stars. Zero notes for improvement! Thank you all so much.

Entire car buying experience was great! Vanessa my sales associate was thoughtful and clear in her communication and went above and beyond to help me with my purchase! The whole purchasing team was wonderful and I was in & out in 2 hours which might be a record for me! Wouldn t hesitate to purchase another car from here in the future

What a pleasure I had purchasing my vehicle from AutoNation Subaru Carlsbad. We agreed on a price for a specific Forrester via email,, which was $1800 less than three other quotes I got from other dealers for a similar car via email. I felt that I was treated fairly and not pressured to buy other options in the finance department. a few days after I purchased my car I had an appointment with Manny who spent an hour with me going over how to work all the parts of my car, buttons, radio, heating air, etc. It was great. I would highly recommend this dealership, especially Noman, Jaime, Miguel, & Manny. I love my new car.

After seeing a Subaru at the Carlsbad Costco I went down to the dealership and met Ricky a young salesman who knew the program and let me drive a base model while he explained the features. His patience and professionalism was appreciated. Within an hour I decided the Forester was right for my family. That led to a meeting with Miguel of the finance group who went over all the details again with patience and professionalism. I am a retired commercial bank executive who has had plenty of experience hiring people and I would hire all the people I met at AutoNation Subaru.

I am very pleased with the service provided by this Subaru location. It was very well coordinated. I came in early for my scheduled oil change and it was not an issue. I left my car, went down the street to the outlet mall and Sam notified me when my car was ready.

From start to finish a five star experience. Amanda was the sales lady that took care of me and she is super sweet. Any questions I had were answered, even if she didn t know the answer she got one for me. The manager was super cool and even the finance guy was someone I could have a beer with. All in all never felt pressured, I felt guided in my purchase.

Great experience! I lost my key and thought they was going to have to send out the module to program the new ones, but they were able to get it done on site. Fillip was awesome and even arranged for me to have a loner car which I didn t end up needing due to their speedy service. Just more reason I m proud to own a Subaru!

I'd rate this experience zero stars if I could. It was one of my worst car-testing experiences to date. Despite making an appointment to test drive a Subaru Ascent premium trim and confirming the car's availability, my experience at the dealership was incredibly disappointing.After a 40-minute drive to get there, the salesman, Juan, completely disregarded my preferences and attempted to steer me towards trying out the Onyx trim instead. I was taken aback and firmly stated that I wanted to test drive the premium trim as originally planned. However, Juan disappeared briefly and returned with the news that the car had been sold the day before.It was so ... to realize that this kid seemingly thought he could manipulate the situation to his advantage by diverting my attention and then delivering false information about the car's availability. If dishonesty begins at this point, I shudder to think about what other tactics might be employed in the sales process.I strongly advise to think twice before engaging with this dealership. There are surely more reputable and trustworthy options out there.

The customer service here was exceptional. Sean went above and beyond to be available during my car search, but never pressured me. Once my decision was made, he tried to make the purchase process as seamless and painless as possible. It is a very timely process from start to finish, but he and the team at Auto Nation catered to me in order to compensate for the inconvenience. I left in my new car feeling excited and blessed! Great service, Sean, Carlos and Manny!!

I will not be bringing my outback here for service. After returning a call about a recall for my car, I was not called back. I then. Add a couple calls to schedule service. Basic questions could not be answered such as the cost of different services. Don t most people want to know how much an oil change cost? The cost of a recommended 30,000 mile service, tire rotation, break fluid change. I was told I would get a call back with prices. I did get a call back, days later.I made an appointment for a Friday. Was told I could pick my car up Saturday morning. It would be washed. My car was really dirty. When I arrived around 10 am to pick up, it was not washed. When I said that I wanted it washed, I was told it was going to rain. So I relented, still driving around a dirty car. My Subaru coupon that I emailed to Parker was not attached to my paperwork. Again I had to email it to my service rep that was checking my car out. And finally no sticker with time for next oil change due. It was a sloppy service that was very frustrating. Since that change to Autonation, service is not what it was.

Subaru Carlsbad is great. Service is always awesome. The waiting room is nice and clean. They work fast and are in depth and honest. I like how the mechanics send you a video of recommended service. My service advisor is Robert, he is the best.

I took my car in for transmission noise. They were courteous and frequently communicated with me the status during the time they kept the car. They replaced the transmission on an 11 year old Subaru Impreza for zero cost. You really can t ask for anything more than that!

AutoNation is located close to my home and appears to be open most of the time. They have lots of cars and choices. Their salespeople are knowledgeable and friendly. They are inspired to please and get you the best deal. I love my new car and am very happy with the service AutoNation offers.

The service department here is fast and efficient, and they text you a really thorough video of what your car looks like while it s on the lift. That was pretty cool because I ve never had that before while getting a vehicle serviced. Their prices are competitive with other dealerships, I was quoted higher pricing at a different location for a service that had a more affordable rate here. It was a no brainer who I chose, AutoNation. I ll always choose the dealership that s wallet friendly and doesn t price gauge. AutoNation seems to be that dealership. I appreciate the service department doesn t try to swindle you either with unnecessary services, I ve been here twice and they ve just done the services I ve asked for and haven t tried to sell me anything else. My only gripe that s not really a gripe is there are two different oil change prices, so make sure you specify which oil change you want when you talk to the appointment line scheduler, either the regular oil change or the fancier oil change with conditioning stuff in it. I m personally okay with the regular oil change, but others may want the conditioning oil since it makes your oil change last an additional 2k miles per change.Overall I m very happy taking my car here. I also like the waiting area, it s very nice, inviting, private, and cozy.My service advisor is Aaron and he s always gone above and beyond for me, which I appreciate. For example when I brought my car in for spark plugs to be changed he quoted it as a 4 hour job, but he had me out within 2 hours. 5 stars hands down for Aaron.

We drove further than our closest Subaru dealership because of the service! We appreciated their help and the ease of buying our first Subaru. Well, I wrote a scathing review awhile back, together with more such comments asked by the General Manager of Subaru Carlsbad. Vowed I would never go back. However, went in yesterday as having trouble with battery and tailgate lift of my 2017 Forester. So surprised at the conclusion of my visit to not only have the problems fixed but only owed a small amount. Thanks! I will return.
