Extremely beautiful new facility!!!Although some of the recommendations for future work were a little off, as I had the work recommended done already one month ago right after I change my tires, the alignment So, I don t know how closely the inspection goes, other recommendations were rear brake pads, they said at 20% other shop at alignment time said 50% in the back and 75% in the front.So again, don t actually know how they really determine future required maintenance, other than basing it on the mileage of the vehicle.The staff was mostly very friendly, and professional. Their computer system seemed to have some kinks as it took longer to check out when I paid. It took three tries.I had my cabin and engine filters replaced, it was done within the time frame.My car was washed and returned looking very clean.I keep my vehicle in top notch condition, low mileage, looks brand new and inside out.I keep a file, hard copies, and log in all repairs for my records. Other than the file from emailed invoices that I file keeping a handy access as well in my documents.I love and appreciate my vehicle, one of the best purchases I have made over the years.It s a great brand!!!It s a 2018 Mazda 3 Touring leased it brand new, at the end of lease decided to buy it instead of trading it in.It s under 35,000 miles

Every time I had scheduled any services at AutoNation Mazda Carlsbad, Andrew Moran and his team were able to take care of it. I took my car in for an early 500 mile oil/filter change to remove the factory oil/debris and they were honest about letting me know it probably wasn't needed even though they could've not said anything for a quick buck. Although I insisted to still get it done, I appreciate the honesty they shared and they were quickly done with the job despite the busyness. I have not had any issues with bringing my car here and Andrew works hard to make sure your experience at AutoNation Mazda Carlsbad will be a pleasant one.

I have never been any less than entirely satisfied with my experiences at AutoNation Mazda Carlsbad. The people are friendly and professional and the facilities are outstanding. They not only perform their work to the highest standards but have actually gone above and beyond by replacing a broken power socket cover with one that I purchased on Amazon and couldn t install myself, and they didn t charge me for it. I will continue to be a loyal happy customer.

Fred was awesome! He showed me multiple options for what I was looking for and I got a new car I really love. He helped me set everything up on my phone and answered all questions I had before and after purchasing my vehicle. Definitely ask for Fred when you come to this location!

Definitely a different vibe than it was under Bob Baker Auto Group, and a WAY better experience than ever had at Jeep over the years (even under that same ownership.) The new facility is great and never crowded....My new service advisor has been very accomadating and easy to work with to schedule and solve any issues with the vehicle. It's a tough business and hopefully turnover will improve/be reduced and people will enjoy working there which then extends to customers wanting to return.

I recently had the check engine light come on and took my CX5 in to AutoNation, Carlsbad to have it inspected. Brianna, the Service Advisor, assisted me. In addition to the engine warning, I mentioned that the brakes also made an unusual sound, which had been ongoing, so she put it on the inspection order. As it turned out, the brake problem was beyond the warranty period. Fortunately, they were gracious enough to make the repair and waive the cost. It took time to diagnose and repair the engine problem, but Brianna kept me informed on a daily basis. Everyone I had contact with was courteous, efficient and very professional, and I ll definitely be returning when my next service is due.

Take care of all my cars needs and even gave it a wash. It took a little longer than I would ve liked. But I opted to wait instead of taking the free shuttle. I really liked working with Colin. He found me a coupon and gave me a discount and was very friendly. I will definitely work with him again. Thank you.

I took my car in for an oil change and, while Mazda Carlsbad always does good work, I continue to bring my car back there because of their customer service. Brianna at the service desk is so kind and helpful. She remained in constant communication with me while I waited for my car, and was very mindful & considerate of my time constraints that day. I will continue to use Mazda Carlsbad and I highly recommend it to others, as well!

I ve had my Mazda for the last 3 years and just had it serviced recently with Colin as my service representative. He was so kind and easy to work with! He informed me of my different options for my service and provided me with updates throughout the process. My wife and I recently purchased a CX-50 from AutoNation Mazda Carlsbad. Purchasing a car can be an unpleasant experience and I don't often look forward to it. Just before we went to Mazda we had a poor experience at another (non Mazda) dealership. The location was run down, the sales tactics were borderline predatory and ultimately we left dissatisfied.Thankfully the Mazda dealership is the complete opposite of this experience. The Dealership itself is clean and professional, with a premium showroom. Everyone there are friendly, nicely dressed and the waiting area is spacious and inviting. The best part of our experience had to be Fred, our sales associate. He's friendly, extremely knowledgeable and low pressure. He has years of experience, was able to provide us all the information we needed to weigh our options and was patient which allow us the space we needed to make an informed decision that was best for us.Critically, Fred's numbers were spot on from the beginning of the process to the final signing. There were no surprises, no fluctuations in price or payment. What we discussed up front is what we got in the end. Fred gave us personalized attention, filling up the gas tank, connecting our phones, and talking us through all the car features and adjustments, he even rushed inside to grab a big bow for a photo op once we were all done. It's that level of integrity that will keep me referring friends and family to Autonation Mazda Carlsbad and I encourage anyone that goes there to work with Fred Bandi.

I brought my Mazda in because of an engine warning light on short notice. No appointment. They diagnosed issue quickly and had my car back to ne same day. The customer service is excellent!

The customer service at AutoNation Mazda is amazing. They ll work with you to make sure your needs are meant from loaner car, to being picked up or dropped off. I had an issue with my alarm going off and it was clearly explained what was needed to fix the problem. I love the video walkthrough of what is needed and it is well explained. AND they don t pressure you into making unnecessary fixes.

The service by Brianna was excellent, she is a professional and has great customer service. Mazda warranty is disappointing. The price to fix screen and side mirror when my 2019 Mazda CX5 has 60k miles and still under warranty was disappointing. $1,200 + was the cost for a known issue. My husband has a 2014 Hundyai SantaFe and at 133k miles, the motor seized & they not only put in a new motor, they reimbursed us for the rental car. This is my first Mazda and bought it brand new from Bob Baker Mazda, even bought the service package, so I'm now concerned of the future expense.

We have been coming to Mazda Carlsbad since 2016 with good experience. Unfortunately this past week was not a good experience. Dropped our car off for a 10 am appointment. Was told to come back at 11:45. When we got back our car wasn't ready. We waited in the lounge until 12:30 and checked again since no one came up to get us.Seems that someone dropped the ball and our car was never serviced. In fact there seemed to be missing paperwork.AJ was very apoligetic, gave us a loner, at no charge, no tank fill up required and waived the cost of the oil change.We were notified at 4:20 with an email complete with a video of the multi-point check list.If it wasn't for AJ stepping up with good customer service I am not sure we would be coming back.We own a 2016 and a 2021 Mazda which we enjoy driving.

The call center is off site. They have very little ability to get anyone to call you back. The GM is absent and does not return calls. The booking system used by the call center does not record appts. so when you show up they have no idea that you have an appt. And yet when you arrive at the service department there is never any vehicle waiting for service. Reliable cars but very poor customer service. If i owned Autonation I would can the GM and spend the money on an on site call center where the information is accurate. Very concerned that I purchased an extended warranty from Autonation. Love my mazda cx90 though!

We bought our Mazda used from AutoNation BMW down the street from AutoNation Mazda in Car Country Carlsbad. Unfortunately, it came with only one key FOB. BMW gave us quite the runaround. But when they finally delivered the promised part, the people at Mazda were very gracious and friendly and got our FOB programmed right away at no charge to us (BMW wanted $220 to program it).

Showed up at my confirmed appointment time only to be told they couldn't service the car becuase our appointment was in the system. I showed the confirmation text that came from Mazda, but was still told they didn't have time for the service. I asked to please get on the schedule again, and was told they would call me to schedule that. Still waiting for that call......

awful service, it is not the same as Bob Baker services.I go quoted for one price and the second tech wanted to charge me $20 more dollar for the same sevice when the job was done.I would go to real Mazda Dealership.Prices are high and service is bad
