Had an incredible experience here purchasing my first car! We were welcomed in immediately and everyone we spoke to was so helpful and open about everything! They worked with us and got us what we needed and did so while having a great attitude and being understanding of everything we asked! Special shoutout to Moe who was quick, efficient, and had a great attitude during the transaction while doing his best to get us everything we needed, you are amazing! I will definitely be sending my friends and family here! Thank you again for a great experience and my new car!

I really appreciate Noah & Moe for assisting me with purchasing my car. They were very friendly & provided exceptional service. They really took the time to make sure all my concerns were addressed and needs were taken care of. I was worried about how to buy out my leased car but they made the process very simple. I m so happy they were there to help me out with everything. Thank you again, Noah & Moe!

It was my first time servicing my Mazda at AutoNation Mazda Carlsbad and I am very satisfied about their service. I was able to schedule the maintenance service appointment just the day before, so no need to wait. Colin was my service advisor and he did an excellent job keeping me updated during the service appointment. They did offer complimentary shuttle drive which was very convenient. Also every person that I interacted was supper friendly and nice. I will definitely continue to service my Mazda at AutoNation Mazda Carlsbad. I highly recommend the place.

I can count on one hand how many negative reviews I have left but I can't in good faith NOT warn others about this dealership. We did not have a single thing go right with our transaction on buying a used car for my daughter here. When trying to go on the test drive, the car would not shift out of Park and they said it was a known issue and a part had already been ordered to fix it. They were able to pop it out and we completed the test drive and were confident that the Repair would be fixed at their cost and we could pick the car up in a few days . In hindsight, we should have taken that as a bad omen and left immediately . It ended up taking almost two weeks for them to do numerous Repairs to try to get it fixed and communication was lacking to say the least. There were several attempts to schedule a pickup, which all fell through, or they didn't get back to us or they didn't have the car back yet, Etc. It was one issue after another, and no one seemed to know when it would be ready or what the issue was that they were working on fixing. We finally gave them an ultimatum that if the car was not delivered on that day, then we wanted to unravel the entire transaction since it had been almost 2 weeks. Over a month after we purchased the car, we inquired to see who the lender was since the one listed on our contract said they had no record of Funding our loan, we'd gotten no statements in the mail and the listed lender said they did not close our loan. We reached out to the dealership who actually admitted the original paperwork had never been sent to the lender and our approval was now expired .... Even though we had already signed all of the paperwork and taken possession of the car. We were assured that the lender would still honor it and there would be no change to our credit . Instead, they ended up repulling both of our credit causing additional new hard inquiries that were unnecessary if they had done their job right than the first place! So, we have now had the car for a month and it had never been funded, signed paperwork just sat there . I have not had anything go right with this dealership and I would hate for someone else to go through the same thing. We originally decided against leaving a negative review after we finally got the car and just wanted it to be over with.....but, After this new development and seeing that everything else just sat there for over a month before we brought it to their attention astounds me! Like I said, I hate leaving negative review but we have not had a single thing go right with this transaction and we just wanted to be over with. ( my ONLY Positive thing that I can mention is that Ian was great and very helpful and attentive and Mo in finance is trying to fix the mess that everyone else did.)

My experience buying my dream car from Autonation Mazda was resoundingly positive and I couldn't be happier. The purchase process was done very efficiently, in no small part thanks to the effort of Mr. Austin Wise. Austin was my point of contact for this purchase. From the original online message to completing payment to taking ownership of the car, Austin went above and beyond to make sure nothing fell through. In fact, Austin was helpful even post-purchase to help with closing items to make sure everything was complete. Absolutely above and beyond. My mind was at ease throughout. Austin was distinguished in his professionalism and helpfulness. After visiting dealer after dealer, I am very glad to have found this particular group, Autonation Mazda, and my positive experience can be credited fully to the attention and effort of Mr. Austin Wise.

Ian M. was such a great help and very patient throughout the whole process. He isn't your typical pushy salesman. Arturo the finance manager was a pretty funny guy, and very helpful as well. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend Autonation Mazda Carlsbad and we love our CX-90!

My experience at Mazda Carlsbad was incredible. Danielle was my service advisor who helped me with my car issue immediately. I am from out of town and was just passing by when I was having trouble with my vehicle. I was able to schedule an appointment first thing in the morning. Danielle went above and beyond to guarantee the repairs were completed before the end of the day and even ensured that I was still able to get around town during the repairs while keeping me updated every step of the way. Best services I ve had at any Mazda service location ever!

My recent experience was very good! It was productive and effective. My car is 10 years old and I have been taking it to this dealership the entire time I have had it, which is about 8 years. The switch from Bob Baker to AutoNation was a big change for me but the transition is coming along nicely now. I truly feel that they support my desire to keep my car running well. I will continue to take it there because I trust them.

Yes, I was disappointed. I scheduled my appt. for 7:40 am, so I might be able to get out of there at a reasonable time. The service advisor was unwelcoming and no enthusiasm for life or job! He had me sign for a $160 oil change. I made the appt.from your email pushing oil changes for $89. Then they called me at noon to say i needed a $750 brake job. If any one had looked at my cars history, the price should have been several hundred less!Sloppy and unprofessional, and you don't have to wonder why everyone feels they're getting ripped off by the dealerships!!!You have great sales people like Fred, to bad you can't get your service department organized and functional.Another bad experience.

My salesman was nice but certainly not an advocate for his customer.live 45 miles from that dealership. I had to drive there twice , as first time salesman did not alert me that he did not have access to the keys for the car we discussed prior to my drive there .So 90 miles that trip. Then to come back when I could do an inspection and test ride. So another 90 miles of my driving.Salesman and manager knew this great distance for me as I told them I drive under 5000miles a year , so downtown San Diego to far north Carlsbad was a big burden for me as I was a nervous driver.THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME A FULL TANK OF GAS WHEN I LEFT WITH THE NEW , BUT USED CAR !!!How tacky and cheap. I was told only New car purchases get a tank of gas. This lack of customer service is enough to keep me away and to spread the word. 180 miles I drive to buy their car. Paid in cash , so a no hassle buy. AND THEY WOULDNT GIVE ME A TANK OF GAS TO GET HOMENO OTHER DEALERSHIP ACTS LIKE THIS.BE AWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIPS ATTITUDE TOWARD USED CAR BUYERS

My experience was extremely positive. I was greeted by my service advisor when I pulled up. He went over the service that would be performed on my vehicle and approximately how long it would take to complete the service. 100% satisfied

I recently purchased a new Mazda CX 30 and had visited several Mazda dealerships. My lease has been serviced here for 3.5 years and I had a great experience (Max + the team are awesome), so considering purchasing a car from this location seemed like a natural fit. If you re in the San Diego area considering a Mazda, please do visit here and connect with Ian who is who I worked with. You will have a good experience.

Worst ever service experience at a dealership. Given their overpriced "services", their customer service was a non-existent, incompetent mess.Brianna was my "service" rep. My appointment was at 10:40 for simple oil change and rotation, they call me at 10:37 saying they want to reschedule it because a mechanic didn't show up. When asked why couldn't you call me 1-2 hours earlier before I left she said "I was just now told to make calls"..... makes sense righ? The only viable alternative they offered after clear frustration, was to give a loaner and they can keep the car over the weekend. Reluctantly I agreed. When I arrived, turned out the ONLY loaner they had was an EV with under 100 mile range, they didn't care to warn me or ask if I had charging available at home (I didn't), they told me this after I signed the paperwork.I had no choice but to go with it and figure out the charging.Luckily, they called me 4 hours later saying the car was ready. I arrived and showed them the "deal" they had sent me for oil change. It took a lot of guidance and effort to explain Brianna and the other guy the math behind it so they could apply it because I also had tire rotation. Also no dealership has EVER charged me $45 for tire rotation but oh well.A cherry on top was Brianna dropping and almost shattering my key-fob right infront of me. It disintegrated all over the place and instead of an apology she gave me attitude when I was examining it for damage. She instead said something like "it's normal for them to fall apart like that" like WHAT? For the prices they charge, what a scam of a place this was.So as you can tell they went above and beyond to make it the worst experience. This is the kind of dealership that makes people hate dealerships. Avoid it at all costs.

My sales Rep Ernie was awesome made sure I was taken care of with any problems that came up with the vehicle in the first few days. It did take an extremely long time to get the things that needed done rectified, and the detailing was subpar at best it was taken back twice for detailing and still came back to me dirty but at that point I was just tired of being at the dealership being how it was the 4th day in a row I had to be there. The buying process was smooth of course. I was very unimpressed with the fact that any wear and tear that I found after purchasing wasn t covered in the bumper to bumper warranty but again that wasn t my sales reps fault. My service rep Brianna was extremely helpful and very appreciated. My overall experience would leave me to purchase a vehicle somewhere else next time. Thank you.

I had a great experience at this dealership. Fred (sales) and Oannis (finance) were both a pleasure to work with. The transaction went very smoothly. They were both fully transparent and very knowledgeable. Fred was a wealth of information with the vehicles that they are selling and assisted us with the logistics since we were coming from the Los Angeles area. He waited late and had everything ready for us upon our arrival. Oannis was not like what you expect from Finance managers. He is very personable and not pushy at all. He notified us of all the available add ons but did not pressure us into purchasing something that were weren't interested in. I will definitely be coming back for any future Mazda purchases and will recommend this dealership to all friends and family.

I have been bringing my Mazda to AutoNation Mazda Carlsbad for several years. I have received excellent service every time. This last visit was no exception. I received transparent pricing options and was able to make appropriate decisions accordingly. And my car was literally purring after the service. It was a great experience all around!

My family is extremely happy with our new Mazda. Like all prospective customers, we proceeded with caution, but were welcomed with open arms and most importantly; honesty. Clayton of Mazda Carlsbad greeted us with a friendly demeanor, showing us many cars and tending to our needs before even inquiring about our budget. At first, we had apprehensions due to this being our first car purchase in twelve years, but were soon set at ease with the open and transparent dialogue we shared. Clayton and his coworkers did everything in their power to give us the best deal possible, even making us aware of perks and offers that we had no idea about. Most importantly he took the time to catch us up on the new technology that we were slow to understand due to the changes that have occurred in the decade plus since our last purchase. The final deal we received was incredible with perks that came at a cost that would ve gotten us much less at other places. Thank you very much for making this family s holiday a very merry Christmas, Carlsbad Mazda. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Colin and every one at Mazda service center was so helpful! They gave me a visual with options for what vet car needed service on at 75k. I also received a video of my car and with updates as they went. They were so courteous! I was also given a great deal for tires and never felt pressured! I will continue to keep coming here for my car service.

I DID have a good review up, but I took it down. Just a heads up, don't do your review until everything is completed, including the loan process.I had a pre-approved loan from my credit union, and the loan is to be pushed to the credit union by AutoNation Mazda. This is also noted on their contract, and the finance rep and sales rep at Mazda that I worked with were advised of that the loan is to be "pushed" to my credit union. After almost two weeks, my credit union hasn't heard anything or received anything, and suggested I get with AutoNation to follow up.I have made repeated calls to their Sales and Finance group and left voice mails, as well as emailed the Sales rep I worked with, Ian. I have been given the runaround about the finance guy I worked with no longer being employed by AutoNation, to the finance manager being out, and this and that, with no follow up whatsoever as to the status of the loan being pushed through as needed and agreed upon.I had to contact my credit union and send them the AutoNation contract for them to assist in getting things done with AutoNation.Absolutely terrible to work with in answering a simple follow up on pushing the loan through to where it needs to go. Hopefully the vehicle I bought isn't as bad as AutoNation's dependability.

This place was amazing and quick! I came in wanting to trade in my vehicle, my sales representative Fred was very kind and knowledgeable in walking me through the process. I was able to take my Mazda3 home the same day. Thank you!

Autonation Mazda Carlsbad is the best. Lucas and Kyle were excellent. They helped listen to my needs, and help me find a vehicle that suited them, and didn't try and overly sell me on the car. They let the driving experience speak for itself. The finance department helped me understand the process and walked me through the numbers, treating me like family. I feel taken care of and I am very happy with my experience here as well as my new car. Thanks guys!

So disappointed in AutoNation. Loved this dealership and trusted them as Bob Baker, but not going back. Took my car in for an oil change and to have 2 other things checked on. They came back to me with $2200 in recommended services (including ones not needed yet) and said in the video inspection (without showing my brake pads) that my brakes needed to be changed. Well, I had my brakes changed less than 20,000 miles ago but not through them. They said my brake pads were dangerously low. Looking at my inspection sheet from the last time I was there, less than 5,000 miles ago with Bob Baker, they were completely in the green so that's pretty amazing they went all the way down to red. When I confronted them, they told me that the last person must have lied to me and didn't do my brakes. I replied, "I'll let my father know you said that since I bought the brakes and rotors and watched him change them." At that point, the employee told me that if it's not in their system that they did it, it will auto add to the recommendation list. However, several calls later trying to convince me my brakes were bad, I was done and told them I didn't trust them to do work on my car and to complete the oil change. It's a way to swindle people who don't know any better. They comped my oil change, probably hoping I wouldn't write this review. When I got my car home, it was apparent my tires were never even removed from my car based on the grease and dirt around my lugnuts and you can't check my brake pads with the tires on. Very sad. I don't recommend them.

Service treats you very well. I was able to get a loaner car while they installed a trailer hitch and wiring harness in my new CX-90 PHEV. They also took care of a couple of recall items I didn t even know about. Great job.

I had a great experience at Carlsbad Mazda last week. The dealership was well organized, clean and thorough in their examination and service to our vehicle. Colin and the entire staff could not have been more helpful and patient with explaining everything to me. I would absolutely go back to this dealership - outstanding group!!!!

Went for routine maintenance and a recall for the CX90 PHEV. They had more availability than other service centers, made the process easy through offering free loaners, and were timely & friendly. We will use them again (and they offered a discounted service plan that we gladly signed up for).

The service was prompt. When I purchased my CX -30 I purchased the maintenance package. Each time I come in for service there is something that is not covered. This time it is filters last time it was synthetic oil.
