Rob was easy to work with knowledgeable and respectful. The staff is extremely helpful with any problem you have. My wife has bought a car through them and I have had a service done to my car. I recommend them to anyone.

I was grateful that my 2010 Jeep was cared for like it use to be before Auto Nation bought the Dealership. Thankful the operation is running smoothly now. The system to schedule and check in was great! I was even offered a complimentary ride! My service advisor communicated with me in a timely manner. Very nice experience at Auto Nation Chrysler Jeep Carlsbad! Well done

I really wish I didn't have to write this but I'm honestly appalled how a company like Jeep could treat customers like this and be ok with it. Quick facts. My wife called to book a service appointment and they couldn't fit her in for 2 weeks. (Every other car I've owned, Toyota, BMW) has fit us in within a week and most within 48 hrs. When we arrive for our scheduled appointment 2 weeks later, the service rep said "we'll diagnose it in 1.5 weeks." What?!? This has to be a joke. You're going to make us give you our car and keep it for 1.5 weeks before you even diagnose it and begin any work on it??? No explanation was given other than "there are many other people here before you." Same with any other dealership so why would that be different with Jeep?We have called multiple times to check the status and since the service rep is out on vacation, Jeep's answer is "Sorry, only he knows the status and we can't help." I just called 5x trying to speak to a human and the phone either got disconnected or nobody answered. Just terrible customer service all around.I truly hope someone sees this and makes a change but we definitely won't be buying a Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler/Ram car in the future.

I brought my Jeep in for warranty work and they ended up replacing my alternator. My only complaint is I brought the vehicle in for an appointment on Wednesday but they weren t ready to work on it until the following Monday. Robert was helpful and notified me I could pick up the vehicle until they were ready to work on it.

I m giving Autonation a 5-star review because of their knowledge and experience with our minivan and because of their service advisor Benjamin for helping and his professionalism. I did not like waiting 3 weeks to get an appointment for our service, but compared with other dealerships these days, 3 weeks wasn t too long. I don t understand that part but we are living in 2024. Benjamin, thank you for keeping me up to date and speed on our very old van. The team found problems unrelated to my original concern and now our van feels almost brand new on the road. See you again.

If you value your time and your money I highly recommend supporting a local mechanic and not their service department. I dropped off my vehicle for a simple diagnostic on a Saturday, they said they have no mechanics in on Saturday so it wouldn t be looked at until Monday but I d receive a full report by Wednesday,No problem. It wasn t until Monday of the following week that I got an update and results on my diagnostic. Additionally the quoted price for the work that needed to be done sits at about 1100 dollars more than any local shop. Needless to say I decided to pick up my vehicle. I was told it wouldn t be ready for pickup until the following day because it was still torn apart for inspection. It must have sat that way overnight then got put back together prior to my arrival the following day. The pick up process was quite unfortunate as well, I waited for my advisor to get to his office for about 15-20 minutes, he followed up with some work for another customer who was waiting ahead of me, no issues there, I made my payment for the hour of work they did and I was told my car would be right out. I sat for about another 25-30 minutes while they try to find my car. Finally they discovered it was at a secondary lot and need to be driven over. About an hour process just to pick up a car, something that shouldn t take more than 20 minutes. Unfortunately it doesn t end there, as I was making my way home with my car, there was a violent shaking in the hood, I pulled over to discover they hadn t fully latched down my hood prior to handing off the vehicle. Overall an extremely disappointing experience

The people are wonderful but honestly I don t feel like the servicemen really fully understand the new technology that s used in cars these days. For example my car was in twice regarding the auto start stop feature. Supposedly it was fixed the first time. That took three days the second time it was in Seven days. And after conversations with service department managers I m just getting the feeling that they perhaps haven t been trained up on the technology.

I recently needed work on my Dodge truck ASAP and AutoNation was able to get me in that day. They have an amazing front desk man, Logan. He not only was kind of empathetic to my needs. I saw him respectfully and quickly help dozens of people that came through while I waited for my truck. They were able to get me out of there and fixed up incredibly fast and I am so very grateful

The sales guy that we bought our car from promised to get us a rental when we brought in our car for a recall. When I reached out to him multiple times to schedule a time, he didn t respond. I then called the service department and they had no idea what I was talking about. They said they would look into it and call me back, but they never did. The finance guy that I worked with was pushy and rude. He tried to secure our loan through the ONLY lender I refused to work with (due to bad prior experiences) and told him about. When I asked him to finance with the lender we were already pre-approved with, he hung up on me. Car buying is already stressful, but this dealer just added to the stress. I wouldn t recommend them.

The service at this dealership has deteriorated to a point that a 1 start is too high.I have never had a more horrible experience at any other dealerships that this one.The service department is in complete chaos. They do not communicate well and do not answer the phone. My one day recall repair has taken 4 days and counting and no one knows when it will be fixed.I was not offered a rental and cannot reach the service department.I will never bring my car back to this jeep dealership for repairs.

I can t say enough about the techs and the managers at the truck service center. Five stars across the board!!I almost deducted two stars because of the centralized scheduling process. I called in to schedule an appointment for my Ram 1500, and was sent to the dealer for service. I confirmed that this specific dealer service center would work on my truck, because I usually need to go to the truck center. I was assured that they d service my vehicle. When I arrived, I was told that I need to go to the truck service center after all. I asked whether I should make an appointment with them or call on the way, but was told that it won t be a problem; this happens all the time. So, I guess the dealer service center knows where to go for truck service, as does the truck service center, but the centralized scheduling dept seems uninformed. It wastes my time, wastes the service center s time, and just seems like such a simple fix.Again, the people I dealt with were all 5-star. But the processes for scheduling are 3-star at best, though they have line-of-sight to 5-star if you work out the glitches.

Facilities are "bare-bones". Difficult to find location and contact information for the Ram Truck Center that services all the trucks for the dealership. Sometimes appointments are difficult to get in a timely manner. However, it's well worth it! This is my go-to dealership for service of my Ram truck. It's all they do, and they do it very well. I cant say the same for the other dealerships I have visited.

Scheduling and getting in touch with an advisor the challenging part. The system they encourages you to handle everything with an automated process, which has it's flaws. The site is also a madhouse when you arrive, don't expect to have someone come to your car. You'll have to hunt for your advisor and wait if a line exist. However once you're with your advisor it should be fairly smooth. Given we had everything under warranty I have no complaints. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless your car has full warranty, they charge just for inspecting the problem.

Although it was hard to reach someone by phone for most of the afternoon, I still received my car when I needed it the same day. Robert was my service provider and greeted me and conversed with me while he was getting the paperwork ready for my 0800 appt. Robert was extremely helpful and friendly and provided the best service he could on an extremely busy day!

the staff did a great job. But the phone system at that dealership is the WORST. You get put into a loop if you call for status on the car and none of the options actually take you to a live person.. Otherwise if you just want to trust that the service advisor's estimated completion date/time is actually going to happen, then trek up there to get the car !!!

Recall was completed and vehicle was inspected in a timely fashion. Only issue was the call center sends you to the wrong location. For larger vehicles you directions need to send you to the truck center in Oceanside not the dealership in Carlsbad

Mike- service consultant and mechanic were super friendly and pi. I appreciated the videos of the work as they went along and showing the condition of filters. Well fone

Things got off to a bad start. After a routine oil change, the mechanic took the (thoughtful) liberty of sending me a video of the condition of my air filter. To do this, he had to disengage it from the air cleaner. In the process of doing so, he was either not careful or too rushed, and broke a vacuum line to the air cleaner. Worse than that, he said nothing and sent me on my way! The next day, on my way to the airport, the Service Engine light comes on. When I open the hood, I see the fractured part and now I'm furious. I go back, show them, they say they will order the part. Not good enough! I need my car for a trip in a week. I took matters into my own hands and contacted every dealer in the western states to find that part and gave them phone numbers. They said no one would sell them the part, so they allowed me to purchase it, deliver it, and they installed it. It was too much work & aggravation, but in the end the service mgr (Todd) came through and made good.

My "Check Steering" light came on. All dealer service centers were backed up for months to get an appointment, and many didn't work on my vehicle. I was beginning to feel I wouldn't have use of my vehicle for a very long time. I left a message for Autination CDJR, and got a quick callback from Danny. Danny and his team at Autonation understood the issue, and within hours, identified the problem and fixed it. Their compassionate approach along with expert technical service had me on the road within a few hours. On Friday, "Come in Monday and we'll take care of it for you." That's service and peace of mind. Once in their shop, all service agents were talkative to customers, making them coffee and attending to them on a personable level. I wish I could award Autonation's expert team more than 5 stars for their complete excellence in all points.

I have to admit I was skeptical to take my car here after all the bad reviews. I took the chance and it went well for me. I made an appointment online, took my car in for a recall and maintenance. I was in and out the same day even though they were very busy. It s been a few weeks since my visit and I haven t had any new issues arise. Honestly I feel like my car is running better than before even though I didn t have any prior issues. Richard took care of me and I won t hesitate to return to this center for any future needs.

Danny is awesome! He got our cargo van taken care of and back on the road. The best part was his communication so we knew when the van would be back. Thanks Danny!

Walking into service with hesitation Benjamin was absolutely wonderful. He made me feel heard and assured. I was prepared to leave my car there for weeks. Nope.. In/Out in a day. Thank You Benjamin. You rock!

My first time visiting AutoNation for a car service. Michael was great to work with. Responsive and helpful. As I was leaving we noticed a headlight was out and he replaced it on the spot. 10/10 service!

What started out as a nightmare was eventually handled to our satisfaction and appreciation by Michael and the management. The service department is simply overwhelmed like all the other Mopar dealers. It seems Mopar needs to help streamline their service system as a whole.

In for a mandatory emissions recall. Service writer was super friendly and checked me in quick. Slight delay due to technician not knowing truck was on his plate for reprogramming. Waiting room decent and full of drinks, but wish there was more space. Service done at RAM truck center in oceanside.

While visiting Carlsbad, I had an engine light on my Jeep Grand Cherokee, which involved a major repair. Rob, the advisor and the skilled mechanic got me through the catastrophic event and got me back on the road home within a surprisingly short amount of time. Good advice, a great mechanic and available parts made a difference!

Terrible. The sloppy service writer didn t know what he was talking about. Very unfamiliar with Uconnect. The even sloppier tech left his personal Bluetooth on my car like it was his own. Manager got mad at me for bringing this up. Took 20 minutes for them to pull up my Jeep because they lost it. Still have the same problem.

Thank you for your professionalism and for your time and understanding. I had a full day and I was given a 2 hour time frame. It was about 2 hours, my car received the necessary service; and I was back on the road. Thank you again to Robert and Emily.~Chavela

We went to AutoNation for an oil change and software update for our Jeep Wrangler 4xe Sahara Unlimited. Three (3) days later with little to no communication from AutoNation, the vehicle was completed (the service should have taken hours not multiple days). The dealership has slid into obscurity since AutoNation's acquisition of Bob Baker Jeep. We are and remain profoundly disappointed seeking alternative resources to have our vehicle serviced and/or to purchase new products in the future. No AutoNation for us, for cause.
