I bought my Jeep a year ago when this place was Bob Baker Jeep. 2 months later AutoNation took over but they ensured AutoNation would cover all warranties. Anyway, my trunk door became miss aligned and it looses power to shut if when left open for longer periods of time. I went there this week to find out they will deny all warranty on it because they claim that someone tampered with one of the bolts on the door. Ive never noticed it nor did I tamper with it. It s sad how this company will do everything to try and get you to buy the extended warranty and then come up with excuses on not to cover the warranty. I asked Jeep to have a manager call me but nobody has. Stay away from this company! I wish it was still Bob Baker.

I had an appointment for a simple oil change at 11. I get there and was told the technicians were going to lunch. Ok fine, everyone needs to eat. 3 HOURS later I finally got serviced and was kept waiting another hour afterward. Yep, I was left waiting 4 hours for them to do a 30 minute job. Why have that time slot open if you know the techs are going to lunch and the customer will be waiting at least an hour from the getgo? Extremely unprofessional. Don't bother making an appointment. They won't honor it anyway. If you need an oil change or anything else, I suggest you cancel any other plans you have and devote an entire day to waiting at the dealership. Also, when I arrived, the intake bay was filled with cars and had no organization whatsoever. I was extremely confused on where to park. Next time I need an oil change I'm going to Jiffy Lube.

Recently bought a 2019 Jeep grand Cherokee, 30 days later the driver side headlight went out, and the dealer is saying it s wear and tear . How do you sell a product and blame it s wear and tear 30 days after? Clearly this place doesn t back its own product. If your military I highly suggest staying away from this place, they re no different than targeting someone with a paycheck.

We had so many issues with the service department four our Wranglers prior to the sale of this dealership when it was Bob Baker. Nightmare stories from other jeep owners (swapping high end parts, locating vehicle w/mechanic at restaurant, .). Had to even entertain an attorney to get the matter resolved. Recently purchased another Jeep (4xe)) and have taken this one and my gas one here a few times for service.The ENTIRE AutoNation Jeep service department goes out of their way to ensure the customer is happy. A team environment. Devin, one of the mechanics, even came over to show me how a part of the engine works. Very easy to schedule an appointment on their website which was only 5 days out.The individuals that drive the vehicles to the garage are even friendly (Anthony). Michael, Nick and every single individual in their own office . are wonderful.For sales, I recommended this dealership too. We were ready to buy and visited a few dealerships. Escondido attempted to add on optional warranty plans w/out advising it was optional. They tried to manipulate words toImply it was mandatory. Also, they were not willing to budge any below sticker. Within an hour of leaving Escondido for AutoNation Jeep Carlsbad, I was driving off the lot w/a new Jeep 4xe. Linda (not sure if she is still there)is great. Highly recommend Antonio. The are not aggressive w/sales.
