Update: disappointed that after spending 4 hours at the dealership (I wasn t even financing), I had to come back the next day to sign more papers they forgot about. Then the next day they had to coordinate a courier to come out to my house to have me sign even more papers they forgot about. It doesn t feel like my time is valued. I also was pressured into a package I tried saying no to several times, but gave in because of how long everything was taking.Original post from day-of: Just bought my first certified used vehicle from Toyota Santa Cruz. The whole process went well, despite it taking 4 hours. Chuck and Tom were friendly and patient with letting me look at various models and answering all my questions. Overall, it was a happy purchasing experience. Also loved the popcorn

I am traveling and needed an oil change and tire rotation on my new 2024 RAV4.Toyota of Santa Cruz was the closest dealership.A few days ago I noticed a few minor scratches on my rear passenger door and pointed them out to my service advisor Hunter. The dealership was very busy that day. Hunter didn t promise me anything but by the time my car got back those scratches were gone. Wow, I was impressed!That s what I call service! Thank you Toyota of Santa Cruz for having such a friendly and professional Service advisor in your ranks. I would definitely recommend your place. Hunter, you made my day, Big Thank You!

I just purchased a certified used vehicle from Toyota of Santa Cruz - I had a fantastic no pressure experience and LOVE my new car. Bob and Jeff were so helpful to make the numbers fit my budget. Jordan in finance even managed to make the paperwork part of the transaction a pleasure (he was very nice as well). I will definitely return to purchase a vehicle in the future. I highly recommend anyone looking for a Toyota to go see Bob.

The Santa Cruz Toyota service department was awesome! I m in town on travels so they got me in super-fast, had my brakes diagnosed and changed out in a morning. The service guy, Ed, was really nice and the service centre waiting area was comfy. Full 5 stars.

Great experience at Santa Cruz Toyota.I was driving through SC when my hybrid gave me a dire warning about the battery. I drove to the closest mechanic and they diagnosed the issue (hybrid battery replacement needed ASAP) but didn t have the battery in stock. After calling SC Toyota to confirm they had the battery and could replace it in 24 hours, I headed there next. They also had a very reasonably priced rental car for me to use to continue my journey. Seamless. They VERY KINDLY didn t charge me to diagnose the car since I had just paid for that at the first mechanic... even though they ended up having to take the car out 2x to drive it, in order to diagnose.10/10 recommend.

Don't know if they're good or not. Scheduled a simple 5K mile service, without tire rotation, and when I arrived was told 3 to 4 hour wait. I travel, have been to several service departments and the wait is about q.5 hrs no matter where I am.Santa cruz toyota, why make an appointment?

Brought my car in for service. Got an appointment the next morning. Service was done quickly in a couple hours. They even found a problem with my window gasket and ordered a replacement part free of charge. Really appreciate them going the extra mile for something I didn t even ask for. Everyone was courteous and professional.Note, when you try to make an appointment for a recall, the number listed is not on service. I had to call the dealer main line.

I was recently in the market for a hard-to-find Toyota model. Having visited several dealerships, Santa Cruz Toyota was by far the most professional to deal with. Joey Alvarado was the sales associate who helped me, and he was knowledgeable and friendly. He also personally ensured that my wishes on prep after vehicle delivery were met. Derek Verduzco in Finance was time efficient, clear-spoken and thorough. I recommend you keep this dealer on your short list when searching for a car

It took a little longer than I m used to for basic service with an appointment (2hrs). The people there were very good and helpful. They have a shuttle driver to take you somewhere to kill the time but don t go too far, it might take a while to get picked up.

Appointment making and drop off was super smooth. It would be good to not leave the vehicle after service is completed running and unattended however. My only concern for an otherwise good service experience.

Ed was great! If I m asked to do a review, I feel that I should be clear and honest. Overall the service was great. When I had my pre service discussion about my truck, it was officially in between oil changes at about 6000 miles. Officially didn t need to do one, but opted for the oil change,, was given a price, and went on my way. (Got a shuttle home). An hour after dropping it off, got a call that is was ready, (I thought it seemed too quick). Got there, Ed handed me the paperwork, no oil change was done. He got the technician to do it ASAP, but I waited about a total of 40 minutes after I had returned to the shop. Hey, stuff happens, people aren t perfect, but this was slightly annoying, and IMHO should not have happened. I will definitely return to this shop though. Ed was great a taking care of me after this happened!

I was very happy with the prompt and personal service I experienced when I dropped my off. However, when I came to pick it up my husband was with me because we had questions about the extended maintenance plan. The representative who had treated me so personally earlier only spoke to my husband absolutely no eye contact with me. Even when I asked questions he directed his answers to my husband I was invisible! I was insulted.As far as the actual service I guess it was good looking at my manual and what should be checked compared to my invoice and what was actually checked not even half of the things in the manual were listed. I ve never had a hybrid car before so I don t know what s involved at maintenance checks.

Check Deegan gave me a great price on a new Corolla. It was the last day of February and late at night. He stayed with me until about 9pm until everything was done. He helped me set up the car app and connect my phone to the car. He went over some features of the car even thou it was so late. Thank you Chuck.

I could not recommend this business less to anyone who is looking for an enjoyable experience purchasing a vehicle.From the night we purchased our car, through the multiple encounters we had with their staff since then, we have been met with belittlement, dishonesty, and downright rudeness.On the evening we went to look at our car we were met by Bob. While looking at the car, he took little considerations for our questions. He seems to take each opportunity to state what we didn't know about cars. He made it seems like we were wasting his time...Then, while negotiating terms of the purchase, we were pressured by salesman/owner. He made it clear that he had a long day, had travelled so far to work, and wanted to wrap up the process as quickly as possible.We have no regrets in our purchase, as it was the car of our dreams. However, the interactions that night made us seriously question our decision.When we drove the car home that night we got home and realized that something was missing... Although the car had been advertised as having "full weather package", the trunk cargo/ front lining were missing.. we had seen it in every advertisement they posted about the vehicle. When we asked about this, they made us feel stupid. Saying they had no fault in this at all. After multiple degrading messages, they finally agreed to replace the part they failed to provided.... 6 weeks later!!!Two weeks ago we went to get our car serviced. THEY made US an APPOINTMENT at 10:00am. They said they would have the car done in 4 hours. When we returned 6 hours later the car was in the same place we left it... my wife asked how that could be? The man said that YOU should've known that making an appointment at 10:00 am isn't a good idea.. Simply absurd.Bottom line: This place is littered with disgusting old men who by the fortune of selling sought after cars get to belittle and take advantage of others.Take your business elsewhere

They got me in the same day and were very kind throughout.Cherry on top is they have a free shuttle that will bring you anywhere in Santa Cruz! I was able to spare my husband having to bring me back and forth or having to wait an hour and a half at the dealership. I was even offer drinks or a snack while I waited a few minutes for my ride to arrive.Above and beyond all around!

Seems like a lot of unnecessary time spent at this location. A basic diagnostic took 2 hours. The work took 3.5 hours. I understand the idea of maybe selling people a new car or other things while they wait, but this seemed a bit excessive especially since I ve experienced much faster service for more work. Also, trying to upsell a test that isn t needed felt very snarky and I didn t like it. Had I been fear driven, I would ve thought I needed the $615 test when my car very clearly did not need it.

Way overpriced for the work I had done! Extremely disappointed the tech didn't tell me the cost of labor there which is triple the amount anywhere else! I will never be taking my vehicle back there and now I'm 6 grand in debt. My car is great! But I could have gotten all this work done else wear if I was aware the cost of labor. 3770.00 for labor when the parts cost 2800. Beware people! I had to learn this lesson the hard way and I will be paying for it for a very long time! Go to a mom and pop shop first! I'm so mad at myself for going to a dealership for this...won't ever happen again!

Employees are friendly and outgoing, only issue is that I went for a service because I thought I had an issue which turned out to be something mundane. I understand that I signed agreeing to pay the service fee of $125, but to be told it was a battery issue and still have the audacity to charge the full $125 for a simple issue instead of cutting back the full price because no other work was done besides checking the battery doesn t give me a feeling of good customer rapport. I wouldn t mind pay an amount for the time, but I would heavily prefer not having to pay the full price for a simple answer.

Santa Cruz Toyota is awesome! The people are down to earth and made the car buying experience enjoyable. "GO SEE BOB,ROBIN,GREG" i just purchased a 2023 toyota camry V6 silver with black top I searched around online and came across santa cruz toyota I'm so happy I did best "EXPERIENCE" I have ever had purchasing a vehicle my test drive experience with GREG and purchasing was so relaxing like if I knew him for years made sure I liked the car "BOB " helped me get the car on his day off set me up with ROBIN to make my car deal NATE was my finance guy if it wasn't for BOB reaching out to me that morning I might have missed out on this camry thank you to everyone that made this beautiful car experience happen for me I'm a anxious person normally but I felt rather comfortable go check them out!!!! They really do care and don't just want to sell you a vehicle. We will be back to purchase another vehicle

This was the most painless car purchase I've ever made and by far best customer service. I saw a car online (I live 4 HOURS AWAY) and got in contact with Alina who spent lots of time texting back and forth with me, even into later hours when I messaged frantically wanting this car. She got me in contact with Chris who helped me with all the logistics of getting the purchase done over phone/email. He got it all finalized in a day and kept me posted and then set up NEXT DAY DELIVERY 4 hours away. How can this be this easy? Use these people! Got my car this morning and I'm beyond happy. It's everything they said plus some. Putting trust into a car you haven't seen is scary but that just shows the integrity this dealership has.

Great experience other than employees constantly coughing and not wearing masks . Service advisor Hunter provided excellent customer service. Was relieved to know there was shuttle service to & from dealership. Would have given 5 starts if not for the employees making me feel like I d catch something there.

I got great service my first time here. I came in for a suspension issue and the diagnostic was faster/easier than anticipated so they gave me a break on the price. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant. Shuttle service is pretty awesome, too, and makes it easy to drop off and pick up on a work day even if you live/work kinda far. So my expectations were exceeded in pretty much every way.
