Canyon Muffler is a family owned business I found through a few associates of mines. The owner, Neil, has had experience in the aerospace industry and has been in the automotive industry for almost 25 years. When I came to his shop asking about some exhaust work to my 1970 Mustang, I was able to get some information from him and an idea of what I wanted with his help. Neil guided me through what my options were for my car. I was also given the costs of different parts of the work I wanted to be done which helped. Neil had all the parts in his shop available to do the work. I took my car back to the shop on a day that worked for me and was able to have it back the same day. Neil allowed me to look over the work that was done and start the car after the exhaust work was done. Happy to say that I was satisfied with the work completed by Neil and his shop. Being able to get advice from him along with being able to plan things out helped. Neil was also very friendly and a great person to talk to. There are lots of great family-owned businesses out here like this one. You just need to know where to find them.

Such a wonderful experience with Neil! Our truck was LOUD and embarrassing, finally we decided to get it fixed, called Canyon Muffler and we were able to get in same day! Went for a bit to eat and they were done when we got back. Very fast and efficient with a brand new, original factory, muffler. Definitely recommend!

Great service! They were able to squeeze me in for a fast muffler installation. Owner was very friendly and the price was fair. I had a previous muffler installation from Midas but Canyon muffler is faster and cheaper.

I was recommended to this shop by multiple others. When I came in, Neil was super helpful. He explained everything and showed me as well. I got the best deal possible, Neil even found a way to lower the price while keeping the same results. In the end, I received a great price for my catalytic converters as well as great customer service! 10/10

The owner and his son are very nice and professional. At first when I approached the owner he was a little sarcastic but no harm he was just probably used to the same boring questions but ultimately his technician did a fantastic job and the service I came here for was quick and at a fair price.Two other muffler shops wanted me to leave my vehicle there for the muffler upgrade and this man and muffler shop had a small window opening and took me right away without the inconvenience of leaving my vehicle for half-a-day like other muffler shops who sit on your truck and have lunch inside your vehicle. I will never mention any names but I know what's going on.I highly recommend this muffler shop if you're local here in canyon Country or Santa Clarita mI love when I get the impression of integrity and transparency on businesses and that's what I got here.Thank you guys and I am the guy with the blue Silverado who came in after the phone call!!! That late morning!!We were talking about the incredible technology with the new resonators when looking down the exhaust pipe and can't see them!Thank you buddy!!

Neil is such a great guy, reasonable with pricing and excellent to work with. The Tech is very professional and know his job really well, all welds are clean and good. The shop is clean and well maintained, they take care of their shop and from the looks of it they love their work.If you have exhaust, smog and almost any car problems, they will take care of you.I will recommend this place to all my friends and family from now on.Thank you Canyon Muffler for your service in SCV

I heard great things about this shop from some friends and was not disappointed at all with the service.They not only managed to squeeze me in on a busy Saturday (which they close early at 1) but they even stayed past 1 to ensure my car was finished same day. I also needed to have a gasket replaced which no one happened to have in stock so the gentleman who does the exhaust work there spent the extra time fabricating his own gasket to fit my car, and it works flawlessly. I cannot recommend this shop enough!My total even ended up costing me lower than I was initially told, which was really nice.

I had a great experience with Canyon Muffler and smog shop. The owner was friendly and gave me a great price in replacing my catalytic converter. I would recommend this place if you need a catalytic converter.

I would give them a higher rating if I had the option. Neil was VERY honest and didn't try to over sell me something that wasn't needed to pass smog . He was straight forward and pointed out a minor correctable issue that needed attention. Needless to say, correcting this minor issue cost a fraction of what previous shops tried to charge me for unneeded repairs (including the Dealership) . Some shops just cover up minor issues that need attention and charge for unneeded repairs... Based on my experience Canyon Muffler did not do this. I would definitely recommend them to anyone...

I am a foreign student and am selling my car which I left in California. With new legislations surrounding catalytic converters, the buyer has been dealing with Canyon Muffler and I have been in touch with Neil to try to help the buyer sort things out. Neil was extremely helpful in detailing the steps needed to comply with the requirements for catalytic converters. He spent a huge amount of time giving us advice and options and offering his support. We are more than impressed with the service and support he provided. I would highly recommend Canyon Muffler.

Wow. That s all I have to say. Neil was extremely helpful gave me an extremely great price and edwin did an amazing job. I think it was their first time they worked on a Kia stinger and they knocked it out of the park!!! They definitely earned my business for any future exhaust or smog work I ll need done. I would give Canyon Muffler and Smog 10 stars if I could! Neil is so amazing, and genuine! As a young woman who knows little to nothing about cars, I feel like I often get taken advantage of at different auto-shops if I ever need help, this wasn't the case at Canyon. I came into the shop after my catalytic convertor, and my muffler had been stolen, and an exhaust/gas pipe (can't remember the specific name) was also slashed, and I had been breathing in bad fumes! Neil charged me three times less than other places I had gotten estimates from, and even knocked off some more money at checkout when I realized I was short. He said, "No one should have to pay for something that was stolen from them." Seriously such a great guy, he had it all fixed in just about 2 hours too! 10/10

Came to Neil's Canyon Muffler 5 yrs ago on a recommendation from a co worker and left a satisfied customer. Called Neil 5 days ago, gave me an estimate over the phone. Came yesterday again, he honored the price we talked about. Slapped two new cats on the SS now I'm a customer for life. Thanks to the team at Canyon Muffler for an excellent and prompt job.

Just the nicest guys I have meant at any type of shop. They know there stuff and love talking about cars which makes you feel confident in trusting them with your car. I had them wield two mufflers on my TSX and it was perfect. They even did it right away for me because I didn't have a ride from the shop and they didn't want me to wait around which was really considerate from them. Just amazing customer service with great work, can't ask for anything more. I'm considering doing a resonator delete for my car next and if I do, I wouldn't go anywhere else, but Canyon Muffler.

Visited last week to get estimate. Owner, Neil, came highly recommended by Ace Automotive, who was recommended by AAA. Today am actually getting the work done. Will also use again for Smog checks.

Canyon Muffler has put an exhaust on 3 of my cars. I have been incredibly happy with the result and fabrication from them. My first truck needed new piping in order to fit the muffler and the fabrication and welding was quality. I just recently put a Cat-Back on my 2017 Mustang GT, and the job was done in under 30 minutes. I wanted to get the tips re-straightened from heat recently, and they did the work incredibly quickly fixed all problems without charge. Their staff is welcoming and helpful. I recommend all my friends and family to get any exhaust work done by Canyon Muffler. Thank you guys so much for your work!!

Great service, people and price. While traveling my muffler broke and was hanging down off my vehicle. A Friday night only a little over an hour before and the squeezed me in to not only help but did it right and fixed my issue and more.

Awesome service. Brought my truck in to make it louder, and their very knowledgeable staff helped me figure out what was going to be best sound wise, and budget wise, and I am very happy with the result. Definitely going to recommend to everyone.

I got my muffler delete with them awhile back, they took all my exhaust hangers and didn t give them back to me so when i went to put on a new exhaust nothing was there to hold it up and was more of a hassle.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Rip off!! Took my new Challenger to them, told them I just wanted to raise the exhaust note a little bit, nothing obnoxious. They put Magnaflow straight through Mufflers (Hardly a muffler??) on it because I believe they didn't have the right or proper mufflers in stock. I took it back and said it was to loud, they told me to drive it for 2 or 3 weeks to give it time and see if it would grow on me. Brought it back to them 4 weeks later (because of vacation planes) told them I couldn't live with it. Guy said okay, went upstairs and brought down an oval S style mufflers (which is what I thought I was getting in the first place) and said he could install them right away. When he was finished the sound was perfect, I went to leave and he said I owed him money. I said you guys told me you would make it right. He said because I came back to late that I had to pay for the mufflers. He wouldn't let me take the car without paying $218.00 for the mufflers. It's just not right to not stand behind your word, no way do do business. If you do go here make sure you get everything in writing. And don't settle for the "Drive it a couple weeks and see if it grows on you" BS!! That's my bad for trusting that line!

Nielsen, the owner, always researches the best prices on parts, and labor fees are reasonable, too. Honest mechanics like this are hard to find...the real deal! I highly recommend Canyon Muffler!
