My air conditioning went out earlier this summer and would only blow warm air on hot days and was making a humming noise. My work schedule prevented me from taking my car in during the week, so i was thrilled to discover West Valley was open on Saturdays.I took my car in and was helped by Mark. He said they'd check it out and the vehicle would be done in a few hours. I came back at the scheduled time and the air was blowing cool and comfortable again! I was told that some freon was filled and if there was any further issue to take it back in.Well, 6 weeks later the same problem presented itself, only this time, worse. I brought it back in and was told by Mark they could not do anything that day (Saturday) because they would have to send it to another shop to have the system tested to determine the issue. Right away I thought, why hadn't a test been conducted when I dropped it off the first time? Obviously, they didn't do anything on my first trip to diagnose the problem, they just band-aided it by putting more freon in and calling it a day. Incredible...Mark decided to take a look to see if he could find the issue without sending it out. It was pretty obvious the condenser needed to be replaced. I told him I could bring it in first thing that Tuesday morning but I'd need it back by 3 at the latest to get to work. He assured me that wasn't a problem and he'd order the part and see me Tuesday.I showed up shortly after they opened at 8 and was met by Mark telling me "oh, I can't fix the car today. We're too busy". I was dumbstruck. I explained this was the only time I could take it in, he had assured me he could get it done that day, and if he couldn't, he should have had the courtesy to let me know so I could have made other arrangements. Now I'd be stuck for at least another week with a hot car. Mark then responded "I'll get it done today". I told him I didn't want to be appeased, and if I couldn't get the car back by 3 as promised, then don't say you'll do it today. To this statement Mark just turned and walked away.The fact they neglected to even test for an issue with my AC on my first visit was bad enough, but then to lie and tell me to bring it in on a specific day to which I relied on, then to lie AGAIN and say that they'd do it that same day after telling me they were "too busy" is beyond any decent business acumen.Honesty is incredibly important in any business, but especially when your vehicle is involved. You're trusting people with expensive services that you are hoping are legit and will resolve your problem. Due to the fact that I was lied to on multiple occasions, and my car not serviced properly the first time it was brought in, there is no way I'd recommend this shop in any way, shape, or form to anyone.

Great local service center. Could not get an appointment for two weeks at my local dealer. Called West Valley as they did a great job doing my smog checks this year. Performed my repairs in a day and at a fair price. Great communications on part availability and still turned the work around asap! Will go back again.

I dealt with Marc, I was a first time customer. I was told after a diagnostic at Toyota that my car needed 2 new control arms. The car had become very difficult to drive at this point, it had to be fixed. Toyota wanted $1200 for non Toyota parts to be installed. I decided against it and called 5 other shops. I talked to Marc he offered a good price for the repair. He also offered a free diagnostic, before setting up the repair.After he inspected the car he called me and told me that it would be $900 for the repair. I agreed, he called me again 30 minutes later. Apparently one of the control arm bolts was either loose or missing. With that being said he told me the repair would only be $220. Nothing was wrong but that, he fixed the bolt and that was that.I paid Toyota $165 for a diagnostic that wasn't correct, that Marc would have done it for free...Because Marc was straight up and honest, I saved $710. My car drives great.

I have been taking my car to Mark for a few years now and really trust his assessment of any issues that come up. It is comforting to know that integrity is alive and well at West Valley Service. Mark and his technicians posses something that most service centers and dealerships do not, honest and truthful help.-Mr. Pathfinder and his suspension.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Smog certification, Emissions testing

Excellent customer service, not to mention the best pricing out there. They are extremely helpful when choosing the right tint for your vehicle.I came here not knowing what would look best for my vehicle, they have many options to choose from, but with their valuable help and knowledge, my car looks awesome!The best tint I've ever had. My mother and I both have gone to Mark at West Valley Service Center for years. They have ALWAYS been honest about what really needs to be done with our cars. They do quality work that you can trust. A few times I went in thinking it would be a $800. job or more and it turned out being something small and cost me less than $50.Over the years we have referred many people to them and they were all very happy with West Valley.If you want HONESTY and QUALITY, then you will feel the same aw we do about West Valley Service Center.

The guys over at West valley service center are very professional, they saved me time and money. I had been shopping around for a specific battery for my car, these guys quoted me $200 UNDER what the car dealership was quoting me. They didn't have it in stock and would have to order it. I got a call in the next 10 minutes saying they had the battery and could swap it out the same day.I went in for the service and had a new battery and my oil changed in 30 minutes. It was such and painless experience and wasn't up sold at any point.Thank you again the car runs great.

Mark was so helpful in tuning up our 2005 Yukon, so our son could take it to college. We felt safe making the drive and appreciated the service we received. Car ran great and hope to get another 50K out of it :-)

Mark always looks out for his customers. And he's a better diagnostician than my last mechanic. I think he saved me over a $1000. Time will tell. But either way I like his approach.

This place is awesome. My wife and I have been taking our vehicles there for years even though we live quite a distance away. Mark is the fairest most honest mechanic I've ever known. He doesn't overcharge or try to sell you something you don't need.

Very fair and honest place to go. They very much care about their customers. Ask for Mark as he is the owner and knows his cars. Great friendly staff. Bottom line is you can trust them. When it comes to cars finding a place you can trust is imperative.

This is the tenth year year of taking our two Mazda 3's West Valley Service Center. The work is good, the prices are fair, and Mark is always helpful and pleasant. This is reliable service provided by an honest and capable owner/manager and his team. Located less than five minutes from the Owensmouth entrance to Woodland Hills Costco, it is convenient to Topanga Canyon. We feel fortunate to have reliavle automotive support nearby.

Fast, efficient, priced right and the guys in this shop are gentlemen. My prior mechanic closed shop in July of 2018 and these were the guys that I was referred to. So even mechanics refer this mechanic. I am very happy.
