Always such a great experience visiting Sal's Canoga Brake Service. This is truly the place to go if you are having any issues with your brakes or tires and other minor issues. Sal does not try to overprice anything and is very reliable. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

10/28/2019 - I was so glad I found Sal's Canoga Brake Services. I was frantically looking for a tire/car repair shop on Thanksgiving morning and everything was closed!! I almost gave up hope looking for something open.My tire pressure light popped up and I felt uneasy driving 50+ miles to see my family if I ended up with a flat tire. I arrived on a raining Thanksgiving day and Sal greeted me very warmly and friendly. He taught me to find my tire pressure's "SPI" on the side of the door, checked/filled up my tire pressure, and even gave me tire cap since I was missing one.Overall, I had a very pleasant interaction at Sal's Canoga Brake Services. Sal was very helpful and honest. I will continue to come here for my future car repair needs!

This shop is amazing. Broke down in San Fernando went to another shop closer to where I broke down and they OVERCHARGED me for an alternator and found that the ball joints were "very dangerous". Took my car to Sal the next day completed the ball joints in 3 hours and $200 less than what the other shop was going to charge me. He also showed me the bad parts on the car before and after the job was completed. This shop is professional and HONEST! I highly recommend Sal. I've been going to him for years and he has never done me wrong.

Don't trust this place. The owner is shady. My car was running excellent until I brought in my car for brakes. I started having brake issues soon after. The owner couldn't care less and charged me twice. All he talked about was how his business was slow. Avoid this place completely.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Towed in what I thought was a simple fix. Jaguar XJ8 just wouldn't start. Thanks to Sal, we were able to diagnose a serious problem. He rose to the challenge and had to basically rebuild the OHC assembly and replace the cheesy parts (that I researched and saw) that were a known Jag defect. It took a bit longer than I would have preferred, but I believe it cost less than half of what I would have had to pay a Jag shop. Sal is a no-nonsense guy, and very fair.

Sal is one of the only people I let work on my two classic cars! Sal is a real car guy and he owns classic cars himself so he knows how to treat them. Thank you Sal!
