This is by far the best SHOP IN ALL OF LOS ANGELES!!! I've taken 3 different cars here now in the course of 5 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Yes they specialize in German cars but they will take care of any car you bring them. A++ Service

The worst customer service and repair shop I've ever experienced. We took in our 2015 BMW 5 series with 80K miles for loss of power. After they diagnosed the vehicle, we were told we needed to replace fuel pump together with a bunch of other things. We got the car back after $2,500 and when I asked Brad how the overall condition of the vehicle was, he said excellent and should get another 10K+ miles before any other major repairs will be needed. 1,500 miles later the vehicle lost power again. Took the car in to the shop WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT and we were told it will take 2 days to diagnose the vehicle and get back to us. It took them 10 days to diagnose the vehicle without any communication whatsoever. I called and visited them a couple times during these 10 days and each time they told me they will get to it that afternoon or next morning and I would hear nothing. After the 10 days, Brad came back with an estimate of over $3.5K to repair the same problem that I already spent $2,500 for just 1,500 miles prior. I informed Brad that I just do not trust him or his shop and I just wanted the car back. That is when Brad turned 180 degrees and started attacking me and my character, whatever. I took the car back home and noticed a very strong smell of gasoline in my garage. Opened the hood and found a huge, continuous gasoline leak coming from the fuel feed line. Ended up taking it to another BMW mechanic who informed me that I would need to replace the fuel feed line due to 1st mechanic (Ingolstadt West) damaging the fuel line during disconnecting or reconnecting it. To me it was very dangerous to release the vehicle back to its owner in that condition with alerting them. SHAME ON THEM. There goes another $650. Changed the fuel line, ran some tests and vehicle runs perfectly.

First, we brought my car in to the shop back in January of this year because it lost power while driving and I got a warning message about power train malfunction. I found this place in Nextdoor so I decided to give it a shot. I should have read the reviews. It took a few days and $2500 to get it fixed but it was fine. A few months later, in May it lost power again. We had a few things going on so we didn't have a chance to bring the car back in until Saturday June 10th, without an appointment. Kevin was pleasant and stated that no one would be able to take a look at it until Monday but they will text us. Great, no problem. Monday came and went. We called on Tuesday and they said they had not had a chance to take a look yet. Ok. Wednesday came and went. Thursday we stopped by. Again no one has had a chance to take a look because they had another job that was taking much longer....if not this afternoon (Thursday) then Friday for sure. Friday came and went...The weekend came and went. Nothing on Monday. Finally, on Tuesday we get an estimate. TEN DAYS after we dropped it off!! Honestly, the right thing to do would have been to call us and let us know it was going to be a long wait, do you need your car? They told us they did US a FAVOR accepting the car without an appointment. A FAVOR?! I wouldn't call it that. I would call it GREED. When we went to pick up the car we were insulted by their demeaning attitude. We can't speak to their knowledge of cars or their diagnostic skills but their customer service should be graded an F. Then, when we got the car home and parked it in the garage, there was a very strong gas smell. So, we parked the car outside for a couple days hoping it would clear up. It didn't. There was a fuel leak in the engine. How can you, in good conscience, return the car to a customer in this condition? Needless to say, we did not go back. We won't be back and we have found another mechanic.

Fantastically fast and thorough service. Whether you're in need of regular maintenance/repairs or aftermarket parts, they can do it all. I wouldn't take my Audi anywhere else!

Brad the GM was very nice to deal with. Very knowledgeable about the industry and cars about the car and how one drives their car. The workmen ship was above standard in house although the Performance alignment company that they form out the work toe needed to get my car back because my steering was crooked but they took care of it the next day. I highly recommend this shop for all of your high performance car needs. I even met up with guys for a fun drive in their car club. Oliver the head tuner tech did a great job on my tune car drives insanely new brake and rotors stop on a dime. 55k service was half the cost of a dealership. They were able to schedule me for the very next day, had my car completed the same day, despite my late arrival and they even texted me their service report once completed. AND they re super friendly and awesome.

I called them regarding service that I needed done to my Mercedes. They were extremely helpful and professional and gave me an estimate quote. I took my car in and was so pleased with the outcome. The cost was exactly what they had quoted plus they sent an electronic 35 point inspection report itemizing everything they had inspected and worked on with the rating for each. This was very helpful. I have definitely found my new go to place for all my car needs and would recommend Ingolstadt West to anyone looking for exceptional customer service, and professional care for you car.My husband's BMW was having issues, multiple code errors and the car shutting off when driving it for any period of time. We took it to Ingolstadt and they fixed all of the problems. One employee even took it home to test long term driving to make sure there were no issues and found another problem. They fixed it and it now runs like new. They are so helpful and knowledgeable. I needed to have my car inspected for a track day, they fit me in with only 24 hours notice, even though they were fully booked 2 weeks out. They also added an oil change for me further taking time away from the techs that were already fully booked.They re all professional and very friendly. 100% would recommend to anyone.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I always feel confident with any work done on my 2005 Mini Cooper S. They provide reports, photos & costs before the work is done, as a woman I know I m always told the truth & shown evidence of what needs to be done & then what has been done. I had a pre-purchase inspection, as I am in the midwest considering a used Audi purchase in the LA area. The inspection was amazing complete and discussing the findings with the Ingolstadt West staff kept me from an unwise purchase. The service people are knowledgable, professional and accommodating. The service was invaluable and reasonably priced, a bargain compared to purchasing a car with hidden problems. I highly recommend this company. It is a refreshingly positive experience amid a sea of mediocre firms attempting to convince potential customers they reach the high standards exemplified by Ingolstadt West. If you take your German car there, you won't be disappointed.

I received good service here. Aside from the repairs done to my car being satisfactory the customer service and line of communication were good. Specifically Brad was very helpful and informative. They also washed, cleaned and waxed my car prior to pick up. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking to have repairs done.

Had been in touch with Ingolstadt West for almost six months to have them install coil overs in my Audi SQ5. Had to wait for the coil overs to arrive from where I ordered them. Received a quote from Brad and Mel which was very reasonable compared to other shops I contacted.When I arrived at the shop, everyone was wearing masks and the reception area and waiting room were both clean and sanitized. I reviewed the original quote given back in May and to my surprise, they lowered the quote by $50.00 which was a nice surprise. Brad also gave me a ride back to my house in his own car as the shop shuttle was not there and he picked me up again later that afternoon when the install was finished. All I can say is these guys are first rate. Friendly, professional and honest. You can tell they are true car enthusiasts. I can only recommend Ingolstadt West and will definitely be back for them to do other performance installs on my SQ5! Thanks guys...you rock!Service: Steering & suspension repair

These guys are second to none!! They re true experts with not only German cars but cars in general I brought them my 1989 Japanese car and it truly drives like brand new. Oliver is the man!!!Not only are they masters but they re honest and kind, which is rare. Oliver was telling me stories of some of the problems they ve solved with Porsches and Audis and it truly amazed me how knowledgeable they are with German cars. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone, seriously. Thank you Oliver!!!

I had a very good first time experience. I worked with Kevin and Brad. I initially called because my Panamera had the Interm. service light on. They suggested at my mileage I would only need an oil change. I also asked them to examine my brakes as I had mentioned an issue with them. When I checked in, Kevin was very professional. I had asked about if they washed the cars after the service and he said I came just in time cause they washer was just about to leave. The washer was charging $40 just for an outside wash. I declined it cause I can get it cheaper and they would vacuum. But Kevin, on his own merit, asked the GM and came back to tell me they would wash my car as a courtesy since I am a new customer. Very cool for them to do that! They had my car report ready for me in a couple hours via text. Brad then did a computer diagnostic fault code check because I told him about my brake issue. He reset the codes and told me if the brakes acted up again, to come by and he will plug my car into the computer to see if any fault codes were triggered. Overall, I am very happy with their service and I didn t feel like they were trying to upsell me on things. After getting the run around for several weeks from a different shop I decided to try Ingolstadt West. Went in with a check engine light and underboost issues. Left with a k04 turbo upgrade and a tuned up great running car. They performed all the work in a timely manner at a reasonable rate. You guys did 100% again. I'm keeping my old GTI longer! Still quick from the tune, thump on acceleration is fixed, transmission engages more positively. So, all problems solved when VW dealer couldn't do anything! You're running a high level operation!

Brad and his team were able to bring us in on short notice and made several repairs along the lines of Maintenance to our Sprinter van and they did a great job for us once again. We really appreciate the attention to detail and the extent to which they are able to troubleshoot so many different things especially a solar system that powers our rig that they have no experience with and that is not OEM but they were able to do some Advanced troubleshooting and get to the cause of the problem so give them a shot for sureService: General repairs & maintenance

I had a great experience with Ingolstadt West when I took my Audi in for coolant leak. My first impression was that they are honest hard-working people with great expertise. They showed me the problem areas and prioritized for repairs. They really cared about my budget and helped me save money. They got the job done on the same day and the pricing was very reasonable. It has been a few days since repair and so far my car has been running very well. This was my first time with them and I plan to go to them with all service needs with my Audi and recommend their service to others. Thank you Ingolstad team!A few months later, Ingolstad West replaced my transmission with a used one. During the pandemic, it was not easy to find a reliable transmission at a reasonable price, but they took the time and searched for the right one all over the country. I could not thank Ion, Brad, Tyler, Oliver, and the team enough for saving my car.A few months later, they fixed an oil leak in my car. They did a rough exam and recommended the fix based on priorities. The service team was great as usual. They even gave me some tips on how to make my car last longer. It s rare that I feel comfortable dropping my car off because with a German car, repairs can be expensive. The people at Ingolstadt are Honest, intelligent and have very good customer service. They took my car in and I thought I needed new brakes, after doing the FREE inspection turns out my brakes were just fine. The inspection came with pictures and indicators of Good, non-critical and critical. They went over everything with me and pointed out that my car is in great condition and all the non-critical points we could address at my discretion. Highly recommend!

I m a returning customer. Staff are always friendly, polite & very efficient, they keep me informed of diagnostics. The mechanics know what they re doing & are trained specialist. Personally I trust Ingolstadt West more than I trust a Mini dealership, plus their pricing is lower & if necessary they will seek a lower cost alternative when possible, without compromising the efficiency & standards. My Mini Cooper S is nearly 16yrs old & Ingolstadt have always given me reason to return when needed. I highly recommend them Services: Brake service & repair, Battery

Always great! Very honest. Tells me that I still have about 5k miles left on my brakes which is the opposite of what usually the dealership tells you. I m just waiting to finish my last service package with Audi for my A6 and will be here 100% of the time. Great waiting area by the way with wifi, coffee, and clean rest room. I was able to do my zoom meeting comfortably while waiting.

I brought my 2019 Audi B9 S4 in recently to begin a build I ve been wanting to do for months, and I can say I am more than pleased with how everything turned out. First things first I d like to start off by saying I thought this place is very trustworthy and based on the reviews it looks as such however, I d like to tell everybody that that is not the case and this place is actually one big scam ran by people who have absolutely no idea what they re doing and owned by a guy who is retired. For my situation it was similar to many others who have also experienced this. I was quoted a certain amount for work that was not very hard to do when it came time to pay the price that I owed was much larger in excess of $500+. When I questioned why this was, I was told by Brad a bunch of excuses that didn t make any sense. After telling them that this was not good business practice, and that it was inexcusable for them to charge me that much more while also knowing mechanically that what what they were charging me was just a money grab for them and not what I should ve actually been charged, I was in shock and disappointed to say the least after going there for over a year. I checked my previous invoices and realized this whole time I had been getting scammed by this business. Additionally, I begin to hear that this is a common theme at Ingolsdat West. I will never be going here again and anybody else who does is getting flat out scammed no different than those people who call you on the phone telling you your extended car warranty is expired. Lastly, one major issue that I faced with Ingolsdat West was when they incorrectly input my mileage on my 14,000 mile car and instead said I had 242,000 miles. This may not seem like a large issue at first however when it came time to sell my car I could not sell it easily because the place I was trying to sell it pulled the records and it stated that the car at one point had 242,000 miles and accused me of rolling back my mileage. Instead of offering me $40,000 for the car which it was valued at in market, I was only offered $20,000 as a result of Ingolsdat Wests negligence. 0/100 do not recommend.
