I had my 1976 crane motor rebuilt and after 11 months it needed to be repaired and. Omar the owner said he would take care of this under the warranty he completely redid my motor at no cost to me very helpful and polite. Great job crane is working perfectly. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs motor repair Thank you Omar and staff Shawn .A very satisfied customer Let s have a great 2022

Coast motors is a great place to get heads serviced and or auto motive work done. The owner and staff are very help full and friendly. The quality and work is superb and the prices were very fair over i would recommend them to any one of my friends and family

Had a motor rebuilt and carburetor a few years ago and it turned out running worse then prior to rebuild. Just a quick example I was called and notified the job is complete so I went to pick it up and I drove about one block and the vehicle had no power and a rough idle. Jumped through hoops to resolve issues with no luck. Good people just poor craftsmanship

Would not recommend over price for lazy work. Paid them to assemble top end of an engine and left all valves out of adjustment cost me to damage the camshaft. They didn't even use assembly lube everything was dry. Would never return to this place.

Rebuilt motor just about two years ago... Had it towed in they waited 3 weeks before even touching it. Claimed they needed a signature, though they had one day 1 of the car being there.Timing chain broke. Refused to give me the oldOne though it felt very limp and weak.Did not honor the warranty.Had the car back not even a week after the chain broke... It went back this morning due to rough idle and clicking sound from motor.Let's see what they do now.Hoping the car would break in December cause that's when the warranty expires... Will never ever take another car to them.Honest opinion take ur car else where avoid being ripped off.Take it to the dealer where they will ensure your car is safe.Not to mention the oily hand and finger prints all over the car and some of the oil on the A pillar (interior)And the scratches.Being quoted 600 then turns into 900.Paid for rental 2.5 weeks 850.Loss of income for car being down on a busy weekend. 1200.Moral of it all just take it to the dealership.Both times getting the car back there was scratches on it. And of course the boss won't do anything about it. 1500 in paint damages.Only took you 2 years to reply. You re just a douche bag.. trying to keep money in your pocket. But I also see I m Not the only one that left you with 1 star.MAYBE you should work on your people talking skills instead of being a meat head.Scratches were there after. I detail my own vehicles. So don t tell me they were already there. With a 2.9 rating....Stop taking advantage of people.. maybe your rating would be higher.Acting like I don t know jack. HA. As soon as you heard I had some knowledge of what I was talking about you started being a bigger douche. It s cool tho. It s water under the bridge now, DGAF! But apparently you do Christian.

Good people I came in thinking i had a broken gasket and they were honest with me and didn't trick me it was only a broken thermostat housing. Went from paying $2500 to only paying $222 the care was fixed the next day.good honest people. Truly a hidden gem!

Had them rebuild my truck engine so my son could go to school at LSU and have a truck with a new engine since he was 2300 miles away. After 20 k mile the engine number three cylinder what bad. There answere was your a month out of warranty.Sorry nothing we can do. They new I would not tow it back to California. Thanks Coast Motor for a great job and 5 grand in the trash.

Christian -- the shop owner -- was very helpful this morning! And so were the mechanics working there. They did a block test for free and it looks like I don't need my engine rebuilt just now. But if and when I do, this is where I will go!

Rebuilt my 4.6 ford v8 with quick and easy schedules car is running great has good communication with what's going on if any changes or additional items should be done beforehand small parking area but quality work

When the secretary answers the phone and you ask for someone in particular he says "How can I help you?" with a rude tone. When asking for his boss he then again answers "How can I help you?". This guy needs to learn some polite phone etiquette. Don't call this company. Find professionals.

Hey guys.. Very friendly place..very knowledgable manager which wld even help out for classic customs.. Wrk fast with good warranty nd affordable prices... I touked my 1976 ford e150 which not easy to work on since its a older van... I ll say Very recomandable shop...

Took my Honda block for 10 psi forced induction preparation. So far, great, friendly people, quick, in and out service and the price was very reasonable.

This place have unprofessional personal the Omar the owner looks like having problems with his employees , i place an order to create a 454 Chevy engine three weeks ago and they even haven't a single piece to start working on my thing. Please help your self not choose this place for your projects
