It's pouring rain and my windshield whippers where worn and didn't give my vehicle any visibility. Thankfully, Vidal was very helpful with replacing them. He helped me figure out the right sizes and went out of his way to install them. Now I'm safe in the rain.Great customer service

I just stopped at Auto Zone on Sherman way after long hours worked and headed out in an different direction in needing for the right product. Looking around going back and forth. Locking for a peak radiator fluid 50/50.Then I went in looking for customer's assistance. I excuse myself to the employee at cashier position. I asked him if they have this particular product? I showed him a picture. And he replied yes we do but it's in a box at back unopened we also have a concentrate one he said. Long story short. He finally went to look for it. And he's walking back. Like I knew he was not going to hand me that product. Instead he tells me that it's still box and strap maybe later in the day or what ever. He tells me.How hard is it to open a box with a box cuter. I went to Orally across the street from Auto Zone and got what I needed. I was happy about it. With a low rating customer service like that at Auto Zone Idon't recommend Auto Zone. Don't try to contact me , I am not interested in going back again. I was force to give a star. Oh well.

BE CAREFUL.I came to this store to charge an auto battery that appeared fully discharged. This is a wonderful and free service that Auto Zone provides even for batteries purchased elsewhere. (Kudos for this.)I was told that my battery was unable to charge and I was offered to purchase an in stock alternative. I bought a supposedly new (working) battery and I went to install it. It did not work. Nothing. Not a single volt.I called the store and spoke with the same sales associate who checked my original battery and then sold me the replacement battery. Three words describe my experience: cocky, stupid, and ignorant.This associate was cocky and stupid because he did not check the condition of the new battery when I asked him to prior to originally leaving the store. He later berated my knowledge of automotive batteries and how the vehicle s electrical system should have operated. He assured me that [Auto Zone s] batteries are sealed from the factory and they work when they are at the store . Further, It must be something in the vehicle .This associate was ignorant because he did not seem to comprehend the concepts of voltage and ampacity (amperage capacity) when I explained the fallacy of simply relying upon a battery voltage tester. (Sigh decades of my electronics engineering experience belittled by a junior sales associate.) I further explained (i.e., wasted my time) the steps that I had taken to conclusively determine that the new battery was faulty.Returning to the store, an assistant manager tested the new battery showing that it was indeed faulty. A replacement battery worked perfectly and I now have a lingering doubt about whether my original battery was unable to be charged.BE CAREFUL not everybody working here has the competence or experience you d expect from such a specialized retailer!

This place is awesome. I just called about some issues with my car and they were really helpful. I didn t feel rushed on the phone and the gentleman talking with me was very knowledgeable and so so very helpful (i can t say that enough). Customer service couldn t be any better. Thank you for your time.

Omar absolutely killed it was service and was just from head to toe. Just start to finish the best employee I could I swear I literally got everything I needed on specific time and I was out of there really quick. He also helped a bunch of people in front of me really fast Omar is amazing

I went in yesterday night and had to purchase parts that were more expensive than I would ve liked, but after researching the parts, auto zone had them in stock and cheaper than most.Other brand stores had only one of what i needed and higher priced as well.Rafael in canoga park store was super helpful and even was able to help me get a discount as well.This particular store has always helped me and I ve lived in this area and used this store for over 15 years and they never disappoint.Thank you Rafael and thank you Auto Zone.

It's too bad that the owners of autozone spend on advertisements, their staff is friendly, they help you and you go to the store and it has nothing to do with the advertisement, they treat you with a bad mood and are very annoying with everyone and with the elderly. Yes, but today the man named Chris treated a man badly and in a very bad way to serve customers. They should also receive training to treat and serve the spare parts store well.

They're helpful but I was exchanging the battery that had warranty and AutoZone DeSoto location they change it but they give me a bad battery and which I couldn't operate it when I took it back to them they denied exchange it and asked me to buy a new one please don't trust them always get a receipt from the customer service because they didn't issue me any receipt for the first exchange and the second exchange when I took it to the same person he said he doesn't remember it

I love AutoZone. They always have what I need for my older car. I recently went in to buy a replacement bulb for my headlight and Rafael, the customer service rep, replaced it for me! He saved me aggravation and time and I really appreciate it. I'll definitely shop here again.

Stopped by this location and was able to purchase a battery and have it installed free of charge. Extremely helpful employees will definitely come back. The store manager was very nice and polite and set me up.

Great store but the parking lot is horrible do to a lot of people doing mechanic outside and the store looks okay about it and this is unsafe

This place is a joke... Nothing in stock.. no parking cause it's full of people replacing Front ends in the parking lot.. Plus it's FILTHY!!! Just run down and not takin care of.. O'REILLY is a half bock down the street try , it instead.. you'll see why..

Drove an hour out here because they said they had a battery that I could put in my car and they d replace it. I got here and then they didn t want to take my battery out anymore. A bunch of apathetic teenagers with absurd perms carrying wrenches they don t know how to use.

First I want to start with the parking lot it's like a zoo there is no parking most of the time there's mechanics that are not even supposed be working on the parking lot changing out brakes and the employees lack of customer service...

Omar that closed tonight is by far the most outstanding worker I have ever encountered at an auto parts store. He went above and beyond to walk out to my car to ensure I was getting the correct part. 10 mins before closing and still had the best customer service. I've been to other names I won't mention and nobody cares. Omar does! Thanks again! You made my last minute trip a success!

Just recently I visited AutoZone because my car battery was showing major signs of problem holding charge, I explained the attendant my problem he helped my find the best choice for my car making sure my budget was comfortable, in addition I asked if he could help me install it.He was most helpful, he check the installation in my car and determine he was able to help, and yes he did he removed the old battery and place the new one, he also make sure that everything was OK with the change, lastly he didn't charge me.But to top the cherry while helping me other people came to ask for help and he was very patient with everyone.I don't know if there is a standard to not charge but make sure you asked before.Thank you AutoZone @Canoga park

Thank you to the very attentive and efficient sales associate that helped me today. I was greeted with a smile immediately. I came to recycle my old oil(yuck) and was also having issues with my car battery. Luckily JASON was there to help me out. He saw that my battery terminals were looking dusty n tested my battery out for me. In no time I had a new battery connected to my car and amazing service. I thought he was an assistant manager/manager with the way he handled things. He just started! Move this man up when I come back I will definitely be asking for JASON

If I could I would give it half a star or no star. I tried exchanging a battery that I had purchased the day before at a Simi Valley location. I had gotten it price matched but this Canoga park location didn t want to honor the price match. The guy that was there, Omar, claimed they couldn t do that with the battery I wanted. He made it difficult and seemed to not want to help. I know a couple people that work at other Autozone locations so I know to call the district manager. When I asked for his district manager he refused to give the information but luckily they have it posted at the front door. We called her, explained the situation and she assured us that we would get the help we needed. We could have avoided this and not wasted time if they only honored the price match.

Terrible location. List items as in stock when they are not. They make everyone go through counter help line even if you are just buying armor all or wiper blades. Pallets always in the floor. Curbside pickup takes 3 days instead of 2 hours. But the final straw was bought wiper blades and they offer free replacement. Sent a kid who said I don t know how to do this kind. I went back In The store with him. The manager said he couldn t send anyone else untilHe cleaned the line which was 10 people deep with on him running the register. I add add Jed the young guy since he couldn t help to just refund me so I could go somewhere else. The manager said NO, if you want a refund you have to wait in the line. Never again.

came in to change out air filter. NEVER had horrible customer service. Erick, decide to be funny. ITS not rocket science to run a Compter AND to enter the verbal information from a customer. i GUESs hes so confident in his abilities to go around the counter to pick up the air filter i will buy. His short memory cant remember the number and picks up the WRONG filter. THEN i go back and hes still messing with and STEALS my money because he feels hes owed a tip? I can only image HOW many LATINOS hes done that too to get a few dollars. WE ARE ALL IN HARD TIMES. He proceeds to tell me that $19.06 is the same as $10.99 (description techron fuel system cleaner) are the same. look at the RECIEPT. tell theres something not fishy.

I need to make sure I share what a great job Jonathan L�pez did in finding and installing my battery. It was very difficult to take the battery out and put it back inside where it belongs and he did what I believe was a good job. The car was able to start up after he replaced the battery and am thankful that he was able to do it.
